Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got to talking about investment and money. I started investing with $150k and in the first 2 months, my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and get more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.
Hi. I’ve been forced to find additional sources of income as I got retrenched. I barely have time to continue trading and watch my investments since I had my second child. Do you think I should take a break for a while from the market and focus on other things or return whenever I have free time or is it a continuous process? Thanks
@@Lourd-Bab However, if you do not have access to a professional like JUDITH ANN PEACE, quitting your job to focus on trading may not be the best approach. It is important to consider all options and seek guidance from reliable sources before making any major decisions. Consulting with an AI or using automated trading systems can also be helpful in managing investments while balancing other commitments

You avoid gold diggers by not letting anyone know your wealthy.
Very hard to do that. Success leaves clues and trying hide your wealth when you are wealthy involves adopting a certain mind set. Any successful person knows the dangers of playing role of pauper to his wealth.

My best friend, inherited a huge amount of money, when his father died. He bought a normal house but had some nice cars. But he would always take his 15 year old, Ford Ranger, on dates!! And because of that, He found his perfect wife; because she did not mind riding around in a beat up truck!!!

BETTER YET stay single
Wouldn't that be her money too? This plan isn't realistic
@@jade4897 no it wouldn't be because he made his money before he married her and she has no rights to the business, plus a prenup would mean she would give up any right to his money. Of course every state has different laws on the subject.
@@zPrideful its realistic for the family filter but if he worries about dating women now that will be a constant thing. He wouldnt last long term thinking this way all the time. Prenups are a good idea and is worth while with a lot of money involved naturally. Wills are also great as well. It would be better for him to marry someone who has about the same wealth...would be hard but do-able.
I think that when a man becomes financially set he thinks it's time to settle down because we deserve to as a reward for our hard work. Finding a compatible spouse seems to be a lot harder than make a 7 figure income.

If guys want to be a sugar daddy - you know what to do.
If not - kindly keep your mouth zipped.
Not living a flashy lifestyle is one of the most underrated pieces of advice ever. You can live relatively humbly and be quite content. You don't need to show off. Maintain a sense of seemliness.
There is no reason for a woman your dating to know you financial situation unless you talking about marriage.
Not even then.

Quality women will never press you to tell them how much you make especially in the early stages of dating. If she brings it up too soon say "I make enough to live comfortably" and change the subject.
well that is not 100 percent true, dave daughter, said she use to ask about money on the first date. and she going to be worth millions.
but question like, you don't have a lot of credit card dept, are ok wanting to make sure that you don't have a lot of dept is a fair question. but asking how much you make can get a little werid.
in short if it a question your guy friend would ask, like do you know good credit card with zero intrest, I am paying 21 percent might be ok, asking two many question is not.
@spirals 73 maybe they tell you before you ask

I can tell quickly if a man is moneyed, unless its very new money, like this man. He wont act rich yet, just excited lol

Regarding a pre-nup, do what my friend did: While he was single, he wrote a letter to his future wife, who he hadn't met yet. It said, "I love you and I'm sure you've brought so much to my life. But I will be asking for a pre-nup for various important practical reasons." He mailed that envelope to himself. He then left the sealed and dated envelope in his desk. Years later, he did meet The One, and when the topic of pre-nups came up he let her unseal the envelope. This proved to her that the pre-nup request wasn't personal. That's important, on an emotional level.
@Farah Facett you get prenup because you trust someone way too much, not because you don't trust them :)
The ONLY reason, male or female, not to sign a prenuptial agreement is because you have less than above board motives down the line, and you're securing that position now.
@john joe Those women should be establishing careers and investing their earnings before marrying. She knows what she stands to gain and lose in marrying and should plan accordingly. A failure to plan rests at the feet of the individual, no one else.
@john joe A man too, can be fired without severance. Times have changed, women demand equality and anything we do carries certain risks. If a woman lives a man then a prenup poses no problem.

Spoiler alert. Dave recommends a prenup. I'm glad too. Because a couple of weeks ago I saw him recommend a prenup to a lady that was worth a lot of money. And I commented that I wondered if he would recommend the same thing for a male caller. And he did. Thanks for being consistent Dave.
Why would he recommend something different?
@@CreedK if you watch more videos, you'll see Dave criticize male callers more especially when it seems to be about the spouse having uncontrolled spending habits/ not wanting to go forward with budget
wayne miller prenups are for the most part useless, about 70% of them get thrown out in court.
Erect4e36 that’s because they weren’t done correctly or the people moved states & the state they wound up divorcing in had different rules concerning prenups. (Different states, different divorce laws, different laws in re: to prenups)
You want to know why all those actors in CA divorce by year 9? Because in CA the marriage becomes a long term marriage in year 10 & the prenup expires
@wayne miller Dave just made clear that he doesn't usually recommend prenuptial agreements. Only in certain cases. The guy called in isn't even a millionaire, started off saying he was worth millions. He invented something. I did too but I won't claim I'm worth millions yet. Take another listen.
Watch her relationship to money, her shopping habits, levels of entitlement, how much she spends on things like coffee & eating out, etc. That will speak volumes about how she will adjust to wealth. Even if she's not a gold digger.

HingleMcCringleBerry in my opinion, you've already shown the first outward sign....however, I think Dave's suggestion of engaging in financial discussions is a great idea. Have money? Marry money...that worry is minimized. Ppl who marry equals in life stay married. Looks, income, professions...all in the same league.
Daniel B Very true unless one holds the upper hand in terms of power, wealth and the other is happy to play the submissive role without conflict
You're the on right path but not exactly. Equals in moral character and desires regardless of income. No offense, it's like you're saying a pauper can't date a rich person without the temptation of wanting their money. If the pauper has good good moral character in the secular sense because religious morals are entirely different. Also if the rich person has good secular moral character as well as the pauper then the romantic relationship may just work if the couple agrees. Moral character matter above anything else when it comes to human traits.
"Gold-digging" is a vice not a virtue.
That's stupid. Love does not know net worth. That thought process makes me sick. I have family that thinks like that..and I'm with someone that works hard and doesn't make much. If you would get married get a prenub
@@techtherapy9467 Family courts dont operate under the regular court systems and are feminist run and the man will get destroyed 94% of the time. In many circumstances they can take a mans inheritance or properties aquired before the marriage in addition to taking his child and hitting him with a ruinous figure for alimony and child care. He cant pay, He goes to jail. I'll pass on the marriage but if you feel like you can beat the system and beat 50 years worth of analytical data, you go right ahead and Ill be here praying for you.
@@EadsB7002 why should she tell him she has debt? I thought Dave said act poor aka decive her. Why not decieve him too?
My first advise is not to get married. Go talk to older men who were successful and got destroyed by family court. If you just have to get married then start by looking at wealthy older people who you wouldn't mind having as in laws and see if they have daughters. Sort of a top down approach. Higher a p.i. and check into everything. Make sure that you are actually dealing with a successful family and not fakers. The more you learn about women the less you will want to get married.
What about a prenuptial agreement??
Never entertain marrying a woman who does not have her own wealth or successful career of her own. This is where I’ve seen so many men get into trouble!
Prenuptial agreements are usually worthless in court. Don’t get married or only date someone that’s already well off on their own.
I’m in the same position (not a millionaire, but debt and mortgage free etc) and I have to be very wary of suitors who inevitably are divorced with children, have maintenance payments and live in a grotty little bedsit who are solely hunting for a career woman to ease their financial burden. That woman is NOT me!! I drive a 24 year old car with scratches, a few dints and a ripped-off bumper and the way people react when I turn up on a date tells me more about THEM than any amount of conversation ever could. If they patronise me, look down on me or make assumptions about me based on my car, I’m off! I suggest this young man does likewise if he wants to find a person of integrity and decency.
I have never discussed finances with any potential partner until it’s clearly serious and marriage is o the horizon. I have only known incomes of two people I have ever dated and vice verse. No one outside your house needs to know what you make. Redflags are redflags. People who can’t support themselves need to be avoided, it will be clear.

I agree. My husband and I didn't disclose our income until we were engaged. There are other questions a person can ask to find out how a person deals with money.
It's quite simple, she can't be a gold dig her if you don't give her anything, it's a 2 way transaction, only the person with money can allow someone to gold dig, also evaluate the kind of person she is, her accomplishments, her goals, her past decisions, the kind of men she's dated, does she have children from multiple men? Those are all questions you need answered.

When neither party stands to gain from the relationship then love will be the only driving factor.
I strongly agree as I mentioned earlier I was in the Philippines. An American is kinda rich there so be on the alert for gold diggers.
Nahh, that’s just not true- you must not have ever been in a scenario like this guy. I know of a specific couple where the guy is worth 40M+ dating a girl worth nothing. The guy went back to school to get his Ph.D and met his wife, from a 1st gen family, who’s broke there.
It’s just about making sure you are compatible and share interests. The aforementioned couple is incredibly happy and have a lab together, they have similar hobbies and compete against each other while obviously being in love, and supporting each other.

You don't need such a man. Look for someone a little more secure Good luck!
Please how exactly do you know that he felt threatened because of the reason you think?
This was great advice
Great answer by Dave !
I really enjoy listening this advice, it's certainly a different topic though. I like to hear about what Dave does, not as an investor nor a professional speaker but as a father of his children. I have had questions and thoughts related to this topic as a mother of two kids :-)
Date your own kind what is in the same level as you and never tell others how much you have
Exactly what i've been saying! AVOID the ones with any kind of debt or without a successful career/wealth of their own. They won't need your $ in the first place!
Great advice
Very good advice
Drive a 90s Toyota Corolla and not a single one of them $$$diggers will get within 100ft near you. Or get a good lawyer to write up an ironclad prenup. Or better yet, don't marry.
or tell them you work at UPS loading trailers part time!
I have a 90's Corolla and I can vouch for this statement...
That Title says everything
Dave!!!! I love this advice
Great advice, Dave!
Dave Ramsey saved my life. Now I'm single for the rest of my life
I'm so emotionally stable that I don't need anyone, because that would be needy.
Stop making fun of me. I need to get married.
Im Australian, live in Melbourne, Aus .. We have nothing like the Dave Ramsey show in Australia, its great. Basic practical wise grounded advice, thats applicable.. its great.
Really great advice.
Best Advice: DO NOT GET MARRIED
Not at this young age
@@tashurasmith2147 Never.
Not at a young age and marriage should definitely not be taken lightly nowadays. Men with any sort of wealth should avoid women who are not financially sound on their own at all costs. If she has any debts whatsoever- no way.
Nah bad advice he just need a prenup
@@biblicalthinker2.083 When you think prenups actually hold up in the court of law. 😂 Comical.
Dave is absolutely right. If you're not emotionally whole you will be needy, and you'll use your money as fishing bait to bring women to you. That only spells disaster. I'm 26, single, and have the same problem. Glad I saw this!
Weird shows up when there’s that much money in the form of someone else is a view I hadn’t thought of. Solid point.
I love this guy he changed my life for the better thank you Dave
