    Looks great. I would have been sweating if I was in there watching you send that hole saw through the crossmember towards the axle lol

    Great video as usual!! I was wondering how you mounted the vents? I, as you know, am rebuilding a'56 Chev pickup and I put in an aluminum tank from Performance Online. A little different install, but for the most sake, its the same. I'm just wondering how you mounted the two vents you described. I didn't see any videeo with that in it, mind you, I don't have the same C frames, mine are simple notches so figuring out where to put my fuel vent is something I have to figure out. As for the diff vent, my 10 bolt has that plastic vent on the diff for now, but I like your idea.

      @@intheshoptv Thanks Mike, I know I had seen it but couldn’t find it! Did you think about a carbon filter inline on the fuel vent so you don’t smell gas in the summer?

      @@sarblade I would retrofit one if needed but so far, its been pretty warm in the shop and no odor (unless you put your nose right up to the fuel line by the manifold)

    So the ground doesn’t have to be shorter? I can run it all the way to the engine bay?

    • @intheshoptv
      @intheshoptv  4 місяці тому +1

      You “could”. In my case, I relocated the battery to the rear and grounded the frame in the rear AND the front. So the ground for these components will be grounded to a small ground distribution block just two feet away in front of the tank. As long as you’re sure you have a good chassis ground, you can technically ground it anywhere on the frame. ua-cam.com/video/pY8pCoqoQF4/v-deo.htmlsi=Q2oMycfA2VOKLO3Y

      @@intheshoptv Nice, I’m relocating my battery to the rear as well… but I ran the hot to the front… I’ll just do the same since I have ground distribution block laying around 🫡. Thanks for responding
