I’m building an LS1 with the same FiTech intake for a Factory Five Roadster. Your videos have been very helpful up to this point. I’m really looking forward to seeing how you deal with the steam venting and the crankcase pressure/PCV setup with this intake? Thanks and keep'em coming.
Been learning a lot from your videos.....especially like the part in this one, ‘hey its fuel if you don’t do it right you could blow up your car’. Hahaaa. Good tip!
Jake, question on the system you built...ls6 going into a 69 Camaro. I've got all the aeromotive parts you do, to include the an6 fittings in the diagram for the y block, the aeromotive pressure reg, the aeromotive stealth tank with pump in it ect,. How many pounds are your injectors? And I have the 340 lph pump but it says 40 lbs? Is this enough to pressure the lines? I'm confused! Because I thought I might need 58PSI the rails...but this is what aeromotive recommended.
There's an aftermarket pump in the stock tank of my 87 monte with the 70002 fitech kit. And when I get to a quarter tank if I go around a turn to fast my car ends up shutting off because the fiel all goes to one side and it can't reach it. What would be my best option to fix that.
I had to change my tank. Aermotive does make some special pumps with checks in them to help keep it from happening. But in my cars I had complete new tanks and pumps with baffles and or sponges in them to keep it from sloshing around in hard turns, ect
Update: so what I did notice just now, is that the 13303 pressure regulator I ordered says 35-75psi...soooo maybe it's an ohms thing? But if the pump only puts out 40psi, I'm still confused lol.
I’d have to look at the pump curve. It’s all about pressure at flow rates. But seems weird that the pump would only be rated for 40psi. The reg just forces the pump to work harder and bypasses any remaining fuel through the return.
I'm running the Corvette style fuel regulator so will I still need the fuel pressure regulator.and I also already have a 92mm TB with the lokar throttle cable will that work with the 70064 style intake manifold. I'm also using the terminator x
As for the other questions sounds like your just using the fitech intake. I expect all of that should work. Just never done it. Holly makes good stuff so if you done your research it should be good to go. It’s more about the fueling and fuel routing and pressure that I would question. So good to check out that video for more information on the subject.
Hey, I'm doing a 68 Camaro ls swap as well and everything's been generally smooth until I reached the pulley system.. any advice you have or maybe even the parts you ended up using?
Every setup is different. In my bird they are custom. Trucks I use most stock stuff. But most swaps I need to move alternator and have used March. Summit. Jegs And others. Gm performance parts. Don’t have enough experience to tell ya which one was best for me .
Wow that’s a amazing idea putting that hole n the trunk like that I’m n 👌🏿

Excellent tutorial! You took all the mystery out of assembling AN fittings for me. Thank you
Great video. thank you
Lookin clean! great job bro
Thanks!

ha! thanks!
Amazing information!
You have a video on how you directly connected and plumbed the regulator into the driver's side rail?
No. But it just a fitting…
Thanks sir keep em coming please liked and subbed
Love the content thanks man more ls swap stuff maybe an obs build maybe thanks sir
Great info..
Good stuff!

Awesome video btw! Thanks
Weird. Mine is going to run between 58 and 60 psi.
Am just surprised you quit uploading you must of got lazy I actually enjoyed some of your videos
I probably will again someday. Building a new shop now
@@JakesShop Congratulations, I do enjoy your videos don’t get me wrong I’d like to see you finish that car

What you used to plug up the hole on the driver side of intake
I Think you might be referring to the iac valve or intake air control valve. Should be one in the kit.

Sorry for all the questions
I would look at my fuel and fuel plumbing video. This intake is dual. Rail. Running it with the corvette style reg and plumbing may be problematic.

Where are you located
The fuel return makes me a bit nervous
Race status! :). But I get it
hey, [USERNAME] Nice video! 🤩
