On the testicular torsion story - When someone says "something is wrong" and "i need to go to the hospital" and proceeds to call multiple times - believe that should be an alarm that something is wrong - I agree with him not being able to trust her now. If he can't count on her in an emergency, there is no future for them as a couple.
I strongly disagree for testicular torsion story. He was LITERALLY try to call her to verbally describe the pain and tell her the gravity of the situation, something you can't text while in immense pain. Imagine Candy Thunder is in labor while you're out with the boys, and she's calling and calling, and you text her "Whats up? "... she tells you "its happening. "... do you then say, "lol stop joking," or do you go make sure she's okay, or do you actually at least call to see what she means? He was in CRIPPLING pain and you think he's about to write a thesis on his pain to convince her why its an emergency?
This. When you're in that much pain, you can't articulate it in a text. You don't have the motor function for that. He tried to call her and explain and she wouldn't answer.

Apparently testicular torsion is the only pain a person with that anatomy can experience on the same level as childbirth. I had a friend get this and they gave him morphine just to get him in the ambulance. It doesn't seem to be something that people with testes are taught in school but it is a race against the clock to save it. Glad hes okay and glad to see the topic being brought up. Tell your friends, you could save a ball!
I understand the girlfriend with the guy who had testicular torsion, yes she obviously thought he was joking but when the statement 'I need to go to the hospital" precedes the text "my balls hurt", for me, would have triggered a urgent response. Also im sure majority of us in a crisis, especially under duress, would call our partners before the emergency number. Also if your partner is consistently calling you, surely this would also raise concerns thay the phone call is important

The story with the man in pain. The fact she said he couldn't be in that much pain, but threw up due to the pain. All she had to do was answer his call.
I feel so bad for the sister in the second story. That dad damaged her soooo bad. I seriously believe that divorced parents shouldn’t talk poorly about their ex to their kids. You should want your kid to have a good relationship with their other parent no matter your feelings towards the other parent. It’s so heart breaking. I truly believe it’s her father fault however she’s not totally in the clear. She has made the decision to not get help and to not work on healing herself and to try to have a respectful relationship with her other family.
I gotta say, Dusty, I don't think Story #1 ex-hubby's head is up his 🍑 at all, I think it's up something else entirely. 😂 OP will have the last laugh, though, he's definitely going to feel the consequences of marrying an airheaded, immature 24-year-old.
Eating for two, means eat responsibility. Eating to much can cause health issues in newborns. Story 4: Can you say Golden Child Story 5: Break Up. She is too dangerous to be around. You will die. 5 minute walk. She could have walked home, and if it was a joke, she could have gone back.
In Wales, Jones is a VERY common name. What if a Jones married a Iines, got divorced and remarried a Jones? A name is important. But not the whole person.
Story 2 they’re both sociopaths and their relationship was built on a trauma bond bc dad wanted to pollute any idea of a future on which he was not a part of. He spread his toxicity through the child and stunted his daughter’s emotional growth. It’s gross he’s the asshole.
My cousin lost one of his balls from one twisting. He wore chonies one night that were too tight, woke up in major pain, and had immediate surgery. His lonely ballsack is kind of a run on joke in the family now, but when it happened, we all felt horrible for him. We all panicked. And it was a huge thing. How can his girlfriend, someone who should actually care about that area, not take it seriously? I actually wouldnt be suprised if she truly was cheating. Cuz if him freaking out truly was out of character, that's just a weird reaction. Drunk or not. Being drunk doesn't take away empathy. If anything, people become overly caring and empathetic... that's just sketchy
