What's sad is that the girl said, "When you're ready to apologize " rather than just buh-bye. That man is a menace TO EVERYONE.

Men thinking that woman dress for men or to be attractive specifically to attract them is a tragedy in our society.

I must admit, I’ve never been the biggest Candie Thunder fan, BUT TONIGHT, she earned her intro into the AITA ring and won me over. Tonight, regarding the crappy bf who won’t pick up the check, I think I saw the Candie I was missing, a true badass! You let your bad b*tch flag fly and told it like it was without hesitation. I’m over here screaming, “Go Girl, you tell ‘em! Let him have it!” like I was at a boxing match! Good on ya Candie Thunder!

39:55 Cake husband hates his wife, puts her down and actively sabotages her. He sees her chance to shine and literally trashes it. So glad she saw the light and left him.

That was mind blowingly AH behavior. People get divorced for less. Much less.

I feel like throwing the brick took some thought too. Bricks are heavy, it’s not like you can toss it and it bounces or goes farther than you thought and hits a window…to throw a brick at a window just seems really hard to do by mistake…

10:04 Wow!!! 0 empathy! OP has poor impulse control and only thinks about herself!
Tell the truth and accept the consequences of your actions, then learn from it!

The window breaker is a level one for sure. Also, spanking is abuse.

Chivalry goes both ways. He needs to respect her and demonstrate it through opening doors and checks occasionally. She needs to demonstrate it by acting like a lady and allowing a man to treat her well. It doesn’t mean that either one of them is above the other, or incapable of performing tasks for themselves. It has to do with respect for each other.

28:19- The friend new, and/or was a side piece. You all thought for the longest time that your ex was dead, but only one person (that you knew of) was covering for him. Your friend was perfectly prepared to allow a family to think a piece of them had passed away? Nah. Check your garden, I see signs of rats.

Mister 3-4 doesn't want anyone to hold it against him for being tipsy. No man, that's not an excuse for a-hole behavior. Especially towards a co-worker. Later, he told his GF that she'd need to quit her "little hobbies." That kind of talk would've been problematic in the 1980s, let alone anytime this century/millennium.
Story 6: Kidney mom is definitely ASCON 1. She claims her religion prevents her from donating - what about her son? Wouldn't religion prevent her from getting him this surgery? Or is the 15 yr old a different religion and that makes it okay? her way she's a giant hypocrite. What about the kid's dad, or any blood relatives? My guess is she exhausted those options by refusing to do it herself and they told her off.
Last story, Mr. Princess: Forget chivalry - it's common courtesy (or if I'm a crotchety old bag, it used to be). If you pick a place to take someone for their birthday, of course they don't pay. Whether it's your friend, BF/GF, family member, co-worker; whomever. I'd like to suggest he & brozo from stories 3/4 would get along fine. And their (soon to be, if not already) ex GFs can bond over war stories & become besties.

15:48 I still can’t believe this guy still, “I was just telling the truth” no you were telling her how she could dress more conventionally because you view it as childish. The clothes she wears aren’t costumes.

Wait - the broken window story: if the dad was showering at the time the son was playing with the baseball, he would’ve heard the glass shatter. That is quite a distinctive loud sound. Dad would’ve noticed the window broken as he came down to drive his son to go out if the son had done it. The son had an alibi when the damage was discovered, and therefore couldn’t have done it. Also the brick would’ve been on the inside of the window after being thrown through and surrounded by the shattered window glass. Unless OP removed this piece of evidence. I’m basically saying the dad is pretty gullible for thinking it must’ve been his son because the supposed weapon on the window was his baseball. OP could’ve even thrown the baseball instead of the brick. I would’ve investigated further, especially as the son was so very adamant that it wasn’t him. I rest my case.

50:09 date #9 and they took a week long trip? Too soon reg flag 1, second you pick a restaurant pricier than your usual dates you are paying don’t care what your gender is. If you go out to eat with someone and order lavishly expecting them to pay is disrespectful and dehumanizing to anyone regardless of their gender or relationship to you. Unless they specifically say “order what ever you want dinner is on me tonight” and honestly even then not considering their financial situation is so rude it shows you don’t think about the other person.

The "advice" and "quit your hobbies" dude... I almost wonder if he's an undiagnosed something. Yes, he could just be a narcissistic asshole, but I also wonder if he just doesn't understand emotions and empathy and doesn't have the little voice that tells him to shut up before he steps in it. Not saying it's an excuse, but I wonder if it isn't contributing to the cause and could be something he could work on. At his age, you'd think that he'd already had anything found, but depending on where/how he grew up, it's also possible that he was still enough a part of the generation raised by those who don't believe that mental illnesses and autism and such exist. I mean, my little brother is the same age as that guy and yet our mother is firmly denying his daughter's autism and when I got my ADHD diagnosis, finally, a few months ago, even showing her my medical record she doesn't believe I have it. So I feel that could possibly explain that guy a bit and would make me hope he could get help for it before he ruins the remainder of his life's relationships.

1st story: who intentionally wears a wedding dress, from a failed marriage. Sure there's thrifting, but at least you're ignorant. Isn't there some superstition about that stuff?
