Story 7 I'm screaming because how is the girl who is two years older in the right because she's "just a kid" but the younger child is in the wrong?? Those parents are wild.
The image of that roomba still trying to clean the bottom of the pool is hilarious and the moms suggestion of it needing floaters is an even funnier one. How was their kid meant to hear that story without laughing? That’s amazing 😂
The babysitter story. I'm an after school teacher my co-worker and I give our kids the same snacks as the babysitter does and sometimes fresh fruit. That mother has no idea how hungry kids can get after school especially if those kids have an early lunch. Mom is in the wrong.
Story 6 the mom sounds like an almond mom. Freaking out about proccessed foods and prefering your child go hungry rather then eat a snack is an easy way to give your kid an E.D.
When my family moved into a new house with a pool, our two dogs had never seen an in-ground pool before. Both dogs immediately tried to run over the pool, and both quickly learned that's now how that works.
my man should go to his wife on his knees and beg for forgiveness. she is literally showing him what he wanted. that she can do it without him. and from what it sounds like, shes killing it.
Been a stay at home for 7 years it's not a walk in the park and for 6 of those years we didn't have but one car it gets extremely lonely and you definitely forget yourself a little
Story 7: those grandparents are gonna be so surprised and “clueless” as too why the grandkid isn’t gonna want them at his next birthday party along with the aunt and cousin.
As a parent that sitter story pisses me off so much. Glad the husband stepped up. I have a snack drawer and always have snacks handy because growing kids need them! That sitter is a dream!
Yeah, he'll go back to the weaponized incompetence. Women should not get into het relationships; they'll always end up as single married parents, minus the full salary.
19:54 I bet you his kids go to school the same time m-f, they have bed times, making food and taking out garbage are not new novel things.. he needs to put in work and manage his own life.. write out a schedule put up sticky notes and if he really can’t figure it out ask his wife how she remembers everything, does she use a calendar, planner, ask her system to organize everything. Don’t ask about the tasks ask about the system and figure out how to make it work for you
The scariest thing about the asshole boyfriend trying to get her money is that he not just lives with her, it’s that he knows her address. He sounds like a nut job. I hope she can keep him out of her life forever.
Story 1 calls to mind "The Day the Roomba Died," a story of when a roomba spread dog poop through a home before dying. (ua-cam.com/video/h6Y3i7gMzIQ/v-deo.html Link for anyone curious)
15:37 the only way what he said would have any benefit was if she stopped him as he was walking into the bathroom and was literally about to pee his pants
It’s pretty obvious that Karl was the golden child and because Phil never complained, the parents kept it going. The story with the stepsons. He was never under any obligation to keep the boys after mom died. The key is the grandparents using op as an unpaid caregiver. Op invested money and time to those boys. Even with child support he was putting in his own money and time. The grandparents have a lot of nerve and probably has lost access to the younger grandchildren
My goodness Dusty, open your eyes. Without chat you acted just like OP's parents. His older brother was the one that got all of his parent's attention, acceptance, and coddling because of his diagnosed(hopefully) neurosurgeries, but OP who had food sensitivity was treated like a nuisance. That alone makes it clear how poorly OP was treated.
The mom doesn't deserve a 1, it sounds like she forgot what's it like to be growing and how much kids need to eat. For an adult it's fine to go a couple of hours without eating. A kid is just different, especially an active male. Ignorance is bad but not evil.
A lot of boomer energy on the parent son story. You really seem to want to defend the mom and dad. Yikes. The dad doesn't think he was wrong. He's still blaming the son for not bringing it up, as a child.
Story 4: Sounds like his parents compromised with the wrong kid. If either of my kids said those things to me, i’d be pissed to. Obviously Carl should’ve shut up or moved ou of the room, Carl should’ve had different chores but chores are chores. I have depression, anxiety, ptsd, and adhd… I’m a stay at home mom and homeschool, you grow up, and get passed it. You don’t Harry Potter your child that isn’t the problem.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding the story where OP's wife passed away and he is frustrated taking care of his step sons (her kids). He complains a lot about how big of a pain in the ass they are, but he never really explains how that is the case. Idk, but based on what he says, it sounds like OP just doesn't really like or care about them because they aren't his kids. Am I missing something? ETA: He keeps talking about how they are aholes, but he never describes anything they did to make them aholes. It makes me distrust OP's version of events. Am I the only one?
Listen again- he explained they don’t obey him. He’s not allowed to parent them so then what else would the solution be? Even if they are respectful he has to be able to parent them- I don’t think there’s anything wrong with them living with their fam members their remaining parent trusts.

I'm not crying, you are.❤

Story 2: being a stay at home parent IS work, she doesn't just "think it's work."

Carl is uncomfortable with sharing a room so Phil got booted. Then Phil had to clean Carl’s room. No way! The parents are assholes.
Right? WTF? Carl was the golden child, mom's a narc, and dad was apparently blind. Awful
Mom will be laughing later about the Roomba I’m sure😂🎉🎉🎉

Why was the kid forced to clean his brother’s room and bathroom on his own?
Story 3 this guys has got it so glad for him and his family

I love markipliers story about chica. 😂😂😂
