Hey Nightshift. I still watch your videos, but since you started making fewer videos, UA-cam has stopped pushing your videos to me. At all. Maybe you need to think about making smaller promo videos, teasers or updates to keep your channel alive in the algorithm. Sorry for the bother, you can probably see the statistics better than I can.
Uncle Night Shift is like the Bob Ross of the model making world on YT. His videos are so relaxing and the 30 minute video still feels like it's way too short. Keep up the great work, my dude!
@@fromthistexasbreath I don't even do any models, but I definitely would like to at some point when I can get the time to do it. As relaxing as these videos are, I feel it has been really educational for me since I was terrible at art/painting back in school. Definitely renewed my interest.
Thanks Martin! Looks great as always, your post-shading is second to none! I love the contrast between the blue tanker and the warm, dusty paint scheme. Thanks for brightening up our Friday!
You have the hand of God. The quality of the video and the work is so great, delicate, and beautiful. His voice is also very good, so it's more fun to watch the video. I'm always waiting for your new video.
Your videos are always amazing. May i suggest a new trademark for your garden? Plant some sunflowers. Pull them out of the ground when big enough, and dry the stems and roots. These make awesome tree stumps and trunks.
That AK chrome paint is absolutely insane. You have so many incredible details on this model but that damaged headlight just explodes off the model. I'm definitely picking up a bottle!!
I'm doing a stughound a.a. vehicle and I'm totaly going to use a bunch of techniques I learned almost exclusively from you! Thanks for making my hobby so exciting for me!
First time watching scale modeling video instead of miniature painting, usually Warhammer as that's kinds my thing. I LOVE that you go about the paint job with joy and don't rush anything. I feel mini painting community is kicked in the head with the idea of SPEED PAINTING which is kinda a pressure you feel sitting to a mini. Like techniques efficiency this or that, I love your approach mate. Paintjob is obviously mind blowing, thank you I think this is very inspiring whatever is your miniature of choice I'll be trying some of things you talk about on my Krieg, and I am kinda confident it will work well Anyways happy to find your channel and I'm gonna stick around surely
Just want to say seeing a new video pop from you is a great feeling. Time to chill out and watch tonight. Can't wait. Thanks for all your work on these awesome videos! Mah friend!
Night Shift my friend i gotta admit, i do not understand the first thing about painting but i watch your videos because i think you're a great creator that deserves more attention. If i ever start painting my models i will actually pay attention and not have your videos as background noise. Sorry if it sounds mean, you're awesome and you've even inspired me to make more models!
I love your videos. You actually motivated me to get back into modeling. Recently got the Finnish Army StuG III Ausf.G from Tamiya, and a T-34/76 1943. They tossed in a Japanese Chi-Ha for $15 from the bargain bin too. Been enjoying assembling it but DREADING the paint process. I am colourblind and never painted with an airbrush before. You make it look so easy in your videos. I know mine won't look amazing the first time, but your videos have been very helpful in giving me an idea of what to expect, and how to proceed. Thank you. =)
Martin, your work continues to amaze and inspire me! This Valentine is an excellent illustration of all your skills coming together for a simply outstanding finished product! I can't articulate enough how authentic you make your models look! I dream of making something look as good as your work. Bravo! I hope you build more British armour. Look forward to seeing the diorama, CHEEERS!!
Watching your videos are actually a highlight for me. I honestly miss seeing something from you on a weekly basis, but I certainty understand. Your work is… extraordinary!
Night Shift you the man, what beautiful tank. Just stop by to say thanks for the info you pass along I started doing models last winter not knowing a damn thing but watching your videos I have learn a lot it makes modeling more fun when your projects look realistic.
It looks superb so far, Martin! Painting the broken headlight with the chrome paint, though a small detail, really popped. Can't wait to see the figure painting and finished product. Take care!
You are the greatest. What can I say. It's crazy the artistic work that you do. I can't wait to see your videos every time. Thanks so much my friend! I've learned alot.
Another excellent tutorial from one of the true masters of this hobby, these videos are almost ' a must watch' when they come out, best regards from Australia 👍👍👍👍
Nice job! I've been using oil paints over acrylics for a long time. when doing rusting with oils, the tide marks can be eliminated by using a wash of clear mineral spirits over the whole area. Again, super job!

Lol be interesting to see how he cleans his paint brushes
I dont get to do much modelling right now with a 6 month old baby, but throwing on some Night Shift while I hold her and get her to nap hits the spot

Congratulations Martin. Nice work!
Thanks Martin! Looks great as always, your post-shading is second to none! I love the contrast between the blue tanker and the warm, dusty paint scheme. Thanks for brightening up our Friday!
absolutely amazing Martin. Lovely
It's crazy how a dark brown-green basecoat can turn into a desert khaki color then back to an olive green
Post shading is like a box of chocolates. You never know what the final color will be :D
Yesss! Uncle Night Shift is back. I had some withdrawal symptoms.....😂
All the Best from Switzerland
What a nice birthday present 😊
You have the hand of God.
The quality of the video and the work is so great, delicate, and beautiful.

That AK chrome paint is absolutely insane. You have so many incredible details on this model but that damaged headlight just explodes off the model. I'm definitely picking up a bottle!!
