Idk how I feel about the graphical look of the character models but other than that it looks really promising
bro you can't even afford an rtx card, what's the point?
Ubisoft always had bad looking character models. Just look at their other games like Far Cry 6, Watch Dogs Legion, AC Valhalla.
@Ahmet Topuz nah the characters faces somehow look worse than ac origins
Character face model in unity looks miles better than this that too for a 2014 game...
@@ahmettopuz7627 yeah unfortunately with the newer Ubisoft titles they put less effort into making the character models good
Roshan reminds me a lot of Al Mualim in the first story. He told Altaïr that to achieve peace there must be "order and authority." Altaïr wrote that one of the ironies of the Creed is that they say Everything is Permitted but still expect each other to obey tenets.
"Who is she to tell you when to strike?"
"Everything you do serves the Hidden Ones...that is a strange kind of freedom."
This story is definitely going to mirror the first game's philosophical debates.
I'm also excited to see that the writers are not neglecting certain parts of Basim's story that explore his nature. I am very interested in learning more about what exactly inspired him to make the decisions he made once he met Eivor Wolf-Kissed & Sigurd Jarl.
The name of the song for those asking is "This is how Villains are Made", which i feel is fitting for Basim
It has a nice ring to it.
After playing this wonderful game and having been a fan from the first hour that had suffered of disappointment in the last years I came here after the credits to tell you the following:
THANK YOU! PLEASE KEEP HEADING INTO THAT DIRECTION!
It was the AC1 remake we all wished for and never got. It was a story of an Assassin and its brotherhood, which we missed in so many games. It was the story full of easter eggs and hints to the former games that shaped the franchise into what it became today. It was a gameplay and a world appealing to the story it wants to tell. It was meaningful and warmed every fans heart, reminding us all of that what we fell in love with so many years ago.
And as an fellow historian, that this series has inspired me to become: Thank you for this wonderful designed codex being filled with so many texts and sources. Every single letter was read and appreciated!
This actually feels like it’s an assassins creed game, I feel like this is the revival 🙏🏼
hopefully that leads Ubi into the right direction for future titles alike
I’m so glad to see so many want and need an old style assassins creed game, brings me hope and joy!
Too early bro it has ac1 elements yea doesn’t mean its gonna be good but heres hoping because its the same mechanics as ac Valhalla
Yes but what does this game add to the already existing story? The original story was going to end with Ezio as a trilogy but Ubisoft saw that they could milk the franchise and so here we are.
It is too early to say anything other than Ubisoft is doing this for money, to retain potential buyers that have been recommending and to do the least amount of work to evolve the franchise.
So as a game for art, it might be a very basic picture of what has already been established.
@@ivanidlehand9651 Assassin's and templars have been fighting each other in shadows through every time period, through out every place. The story doesn't necessarily need to be about Ezio(Imu storyline). It can just be about Assassin's vs Templars.
@@shuaibhere not about ezio, about desmond, he was the one supposed to save everyone, and HE DID, but DIED.... and that death felt.. i don't know... i wanted to see desmond as an assassin in a "present-time" open world.
@@elgallokriki2105 Yes, im talking about isu storyline with started and ended with Desmond. It doesn't have to be about that. Assassin's and templars have been fighting each other forever
So we can set story anywhere, anytime.
These will either revive or kill the series
Considering the gameplay, it's gonna kill the series.
you can’t kill what’s already been dead a long time
@@ThatOneGuyYouSawAMonthAgo9576 The game looks graphically worse than Valhalla. How?? Also I don't remember having supernatural powers in the core games.

Yeah lol okay let’s not get ahead of ourselves
Assassin's creed mirage is great, but it hasn't returned to origins yet! 😔👍
@@luansilvail wdm it hasn't "returned" to origins? This is literally almost a sequel to Origins.

2:24 the music in this game is insane gives me goosebumps AC games never fail to disappoint with their music
Still hoping we get a new rendition of ezio's family though
@Liam-Wales another welshman 🏴 , we are ezios family is in the original AC mirage cinematic world premiere trailer right at the end
Music always goes hard in AC so I'm not surprised. Happy to see it though.
True, they always nail it at that.
2:23 Basim's theme ❤️
The storyline is looking very solid. These things left neglected can kill a game before it even begins. Good job Ubisoft.
what's solid about it it's the same old rehashed subject
@AMV Labs So what? Still a solid story
I hope the AC games properly revisit the modern times again as a major title, haven't seen an AC game fully delve into the modern setting in a long time (outside of playable cutscenes)
Storyline looks like the same old assassins versus templars story, what looks interesting to me is the middle-eastern setting
but did nobody see the crumbling demon like creature? they wont stick to history again and instead make a sand of time stuff out of it?
Apart from young Basim’s face and the facial expressions and details,I see nothing wrong with this.Hope the story delivers. The graphics are good but could’ve have been much better. At least I got what I wanted,Assassins in an Ac game.
I totally agree, imagine if this had like rdr2 graphics
@@xItzRevenge I cannot imagine that considering this was a Valhalla DLC.They did not have much budget but they definitely could have done better.

@@ziwuri nah even ac3 looks better but still excited
@@ziwuri not at all. Character models are abysmal
@@desmondcoleman1409 Yeah agreed, that's only one aspect of the game. I'm still more interested in the gameplay and story. Don't have that powerful of a machine anyway.
Basims reincarnated memories as Loki makes him OP now if you think about it. He now has all that knowledge of the ISU in present day along with all the calculations he performed and studied while trapped in World Trees. I legit believe (with Williams help), he will break into a Templar facility to retrieve Desmond’s body. From there he will bring his body to World Trees where Laylas body is. With the Staff, he will regenerate their bodies and retrieve their consciousness’s from the cloud and restore them to physical form. All 3 of them together would take down the Templars for good.
makes me wonder if there’s going to be any present day scenes?
For those who search the song, it is Madalene Duke 'How villains are made'

To be honest AC1 remake would be better than this shite
Assassin's creed mirage is great, but it hasn't returned to origins yet! 😔👍
I respect your opinion and wish you a great time playing it but the most frustrating part for me is that yes it’s already better than odyssey or Valhalla but their selling points is a return of the old ac games. They really try to hype us with mechanics that already were in place back in 2010-12💀 damn i can throw red bombs and hide in a crowd? Take my money🤓 seems that there’s a lack of revolutionary gameplay in a modern ps5 games that feel like assassins creed. Where’s the 1998-2012 Ubisoft trying to push the genre fowards? Where is the magic and the charisma of ubi games? A cash grab company who will understand what sells and do it in a poor way until it dry out just like they take the ezio family theme almost every game in order to capitalize on nostalgia. Sad

Just from the outfit of Basim changing in the various trailer shown we can understand that we'll see him go from an apprentice to a master assassin
Exactly that'll happen, climb the ranks like in AC1
It looks very promising. Basim has huge potential to get very good character development.

The whole drawbacks to previous games and the Brotherhood, the Creed and all that, really makes you feel like playing an actual AC Game again since Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla missed that point completely, and Odyssey worse than Valhalla.

Yeah, that's why they had him possessed by Loki, a Norse god 🤦♂️
@@methatis3013 You mean an Isu, specifically the norse branch of an ancient humanoid race that's been a story element since AC1?
@@BuckerydogSchmuckeryDog yeah and remember how they were portrayed back then? A race of beings so advanced they were humanities _inspiration_ for gods. Not gods themselves. Now we've got hi I'm hades, welcome to the underworld. Your next stop is Atlantis 🤓 explaining it doesn't make it any less stupid
@@PLSE_SND_BY_ To be fair that's the perspective of normal humans towards them, doesn't mean they have to act in the way they were thought to be, reality is often different.
@@PLSE_SND_BY_ Yes? You're right *inspiration* it never stopped being that bro. They're still not actual gods just advanced humanoids. However, let's just take the Asgard missions for example. These are memories from the Isu Odin that are being called from the back of Eivor's consciousness. Eivor is human and was raised in the nordic culture. Far removed from the days of the first civilization, and as such the Isu are viewed through a warped lense. That is why those missions are awesome. Those events actually happened, but the perspective is being tainted by Eivor who is an unreliable narrator. So he sees it as these grand nordic myths, but when you flash to reality, (aka if you did the anomalies), you get a very different picture that's entirely sci-fi. Let's take the mythical beasts you fight in Odyssey, they are animals that have been tainted with a piece of eden, as such they have heightened abilities. At first they *seem* fantasy but in reality it's entirely based in Isu tech. (You never meet any "Gods" aka Isu in Odyssey, so moving on to Origins!) In Origins the only...idk fantasy mythology stuff you see are in the visions that Bayek has. (Ah that cultural lense again eh?) Through animus glitches (which are just bonus content anyway). And finally through Isu technology where they've simulated "the afterlife" this is ofc strictly referring to DLC content. So...uh, yeah no.
It's actually "a return to the roots", especially If you'll look on the facial animations
Yes! Back to PS3 and Xbox360 era!!
I don’t think graphic matter most. Gameplay is the thing that matters most

aaaaaaa. The thing I'm most afraid of has begun
I watched all the trailers, listened to some songs
And he himself began to think about how great the plot could be
As an example.
Basim was an ordinary thief before joining the order and he has friends who are shown in the trailer
Then he meets Roshan, who, judging by the trailers, saves Basim's life and introduces him to the Order of Assassins
Roshan takes him under his wing and teaches him the Credo, Basim gets into it all
But his friends from the thieves guild are not happy with who Basim has become and warn that Roshan is leading him the wrong way
The music from the trailer is also perfect, I hope it will also accompany us during the game (How Villains Are Made Madalen Duke)
It has a line -
- Whose blood will be shed?
- I don't know
- Whose side am I on?
And Basim will have to make a choice. Be with your old thief friends
Or choose the side of the Assassins or something like that
In short, I imagined it.
And the further it goes, the more interesting plot twists come to mind
That's why it's scary that after the game is released, it will not meet my expectations, in particular
But this is my personal problem, I made it up myself
But let's hope for the best, because from this part you can make just a great story that will revive a series of games that I love the most
Many people write about the Graphics that it is old and so on
I don't care about it, just give us back the old Assassin

@@Torpedo91 yeah faxx my guy
idk maybe he lost so much
So here's what i understand from the video and the used words:
Basim is that street urchin/teenager taken in by the assassins to be trained and made into one of them, firstly we kill our targets without issues, but then the targets become our friends or even family, quite possibly Basim being a member of royalty as his sibling or parent is a templar and we the player would have a choice, side with the assassins and kill the target or chose our family over our comrades resulting in the betrayal of the assassins. My guess is that Mirage is that one pre alpha video finally made into a game from all those years ago of a game "Prince of Persia: Assassin" which then was renamed to "Assassin's Creed"
Well that betrayal storyline won’t happen because we’re going to become a master assassin in this game so I don’t think he will go against the brotherhood and Basim technically is royalty he’s a reincarnated isu god but isn’t aware of it in the beginning he will know who he truly is before the end of the game
@@Newera1047 Shame, would be cool to be given a choice somewhere mid story, that you either are an assassin and even thoguh you find out the templars or related to you by blood you hunt thme down or you side with your blood turning on the assassins like Shay in Rogue and hunting them down.

Assassin's Creed Origins was an incredible masterpiece, it surpassed even the expectations of the cinematic trailer, it looked and played amazing, with an astounding soundtrack, and had probably the best protagonist of all games, Bayek, who was right and just, he was focused, and his lust for revenge was pure and honourable, it is clear that this game wants to allude to Origins as it was probably the best received and it painted the most amazing origin story the creed could have, I am really happy Ubi didn't mess Origins up, as a true and honourable origin for the existing creed, and in a way, I feel as though Origins was the last passion project, with refreshing combat, but also kept the assassin element well placed in the gameplay mechanics, not just another RPG like Valhalla turned out. It had so much attention to detail, from graphics to storytelling and storyline, as well as environment, voice acting and characters. Crossing my fingers that, although I doubt it, this game may surpass their last masterpiece, Origins.
I love Assassins Creed
1:43 yoo that's one of the old windows 7 wallpaper right??
😂😂😂
it looks good, I reallly hope to have that Assassin's Creed feeling when I played black flag, ezio trilogy and altair!
I don't get it how Origins a game from 2017 can look million times more impressive
They had 4 years of development
THEY REALLY COMING BACK TO THE OLD STYLE AC!!!! EVEN THE CHARACTER MODELS GRAPHIC!!!
Seeing assassins training in Masyaf brought back a lot of memories. They definitely got it right this time and I’m hoping they keep going on this track this will bring the franchise back to life for sure
Masyaf? Masyaf is not in this game.
@@ilmentore7 I think you get to visit it in the game maybe because it’s there in 1:06
@@abdullrahmanmohammed6714 that is Alamut my friend, it is in Iran. Masyaf is in Syria.
@@ilmentore7 I’m aware as i’m Syrian myself. If that’s the case it looks very similar to Masyaf we’ll never know until we get the game. Either ways super excited to get back to the actual assassins and not some viking or greek fantasy
@@abdullrahmanmohammed6714 we know for certain that it is Alamut. Everything is confirmed. It is Alamut being constructed in the 9th century.
As for the game overall, I agree. Finally an Assassin's Creed game.
This makes basim character and roshan in Valhalla much better now I’m playing Valhalla also answered my question as why basim “replaces” Layla but for how long laylas story isn’t finished always more questions than answers at the end of these games now
Ubsoft please fix the robotic expressions
That 2017 graphics 💀
facial graphics sucks i didnt expect it from the ac mirage
Guys its over that gameplay nailed it for me.this is ac in its purest form and im soooold
The only thing it's missing is the modern day storyline but who knows they might surprise us.
Ubisoft, please make round menu for selecting weapons like it was in AC2 and AC 3. Not like in AC Unity😬 And finally make adequate and convenient cover system like in Splinter cell blacklist, where we could hide fast and peeking around the corner, we could grab our enemies COMFORTABLE! You're making a stealth game and we want stealth game with convenient controls and opportunities! thanks
Next history in Assassin’s Creed should be about Ancient Rome!
Assassin's creed brotherhood
