Does anybody realize just how genius the opening tutorial is? You think you’re playing as the badass, main protagonist, only for the truth to be revealed at the last moment. This both shows you the games main mechanics, such as quick attacks, strong attacks, special attacks, and takedowns. However, this is also showing you what you could be if you reached your maximum potential as well as to live up to how badass you were for the tutorial mission. This unconsciously encourages you to try to build your experience to make fight’s easier. I think this is a really clever intro, which is good foreshadowing if you think about it a little bit.

This is so amazing, congratulations dude Quick tip for Yang: You can parry the first hit of the unblockable flurry of attacks he does on his second phase. Also, you can interrupt most of his attacks with a bare handed charged heavy, which also leaves him dazzled and allows you to punish harder than usual In contrast to every other boss, I felt like bare handed made Yang way easier, both to inflict high damage and to punish his attacks. Also, if you've got the balls, you have moves that avoid low or heavy attacks, so if you perfectly learn Yang's strings you could punish every move he does
If you're trying to understand the ending, all of this was happening inside his dying mind. He died when he unsuccessfully tried to jump over that fence at the beginning of the game. @@orost5500 Why does there always have to be hypercritical commenters pointing out small faults for no reason, going out of their way to write a comment about how the initial commenter is wrong.
Anyways
Sifu is the title given given to masters, the people that found peace and balance or whatever. This is what the true ending of the game allowes the protagonist (son) to become, therefore the main character can be called Sifu. It's not just a name given to the father

I hated fighting Kuroki because she just spams and it’s too hard to get to her and fight when I used to play.
This whole run: Violence isn't the answer
Everyone at the sanctuary: (Doesn't want to hurt you)
*Peace was never an option*
If you got into a fighting stance, you're going to get beaten up.
Yes Yes, Violence isn't the answer, it was the question, and the answer is yEs.. 👍

This is so amazing, congratulations dude
Quick tip for Yang: You can parry the first hit of the unblockable flurry of attacks he does on his second phase. Also, you can interrupt most of his attacks with a bare handed charged heavy, which also leaves him dazzled and allows you to punish harder than usual
In contrast to every other boss, I felt like bare handed made Yang way easier, both to inflict high damage and to punish his attacks. Also, if you've got the balls, you have moves that avoid low or heavy attacks, so if you perfectly learn Yang's strings you could punish every move he does
When I fought yang I don't even think I took 5% of his health bar, just mashed lb on every flurry

@@seekyunbounded9273 I haven't actually played sekiro yet
@@liampope3326 you should try Sekiro. The combat feels somewhat similar to sifu, but it’s swords instead of fists.
If you're trying to understand the ending, all of this was happening inside his dying mind. He died when he unsuccessfully tried to jump over that fence at the beginning of the game. His shirt got caught on the fence and wrapped around his neck, choking him out. When that guy says, "I warned you, asshole!" he's talking to the other henchman about how someone would get hurt and that they ought to install a door.

Kuroki is my favourite character. The way she experiences death when you kill her or your revive ability is something else.
Honestly this is just great going from Sekrio, to this and getting the WR is just amazing keep going man.
Ongbal is a true gamer commited to the cause.
I respect this man's content and his passion for gaming and perfection.
Great gameplay as always man. This is only one of your many incoming achievements this year, keep it up.

Also I’d like to think this was a time tested and hardened martial artist expecting a honorable and straight forward duel… you know not just a fight but a demonstration and test of one another’s skill. She was so excited for this that she had a weapon laid out especially for a worthy opponent, like a true token of her respect and honor.
And then my man here just hurls said kindly placed token of honor and respect directly at her face, bum rushes her, and just proceeds to ruthlessly fold her with a already bloody stick he brought with him with absolutely no regrets, hesitation, or second thoughts.
Meanwhile our hero here is either too caught up in the lack of a single collective f*ck this man is giving, or (what I’m personally hoping for) is that she just panic froze because she was expecting a staff fight not to get jumped like she was in a street fight.
RIP… she never saw it coming
This description. I’m dying. 🤣🤣🤣
She is the most tragic character in this story which is a crazy thing to think about
And the fact he did it while she was in the middle of a monologue
"pick up your weapon"
he was being polite, he brought his own, yet still picked up the new weapon...with his foot...then threw it.
R/rareinsults

And they say a " *warrior does not throw their weapon* " yeah right lol
I clicked on the video and didn’t notice who uploaded it. Aand of course it’s ONGBAL , dude has to be made into a character in one of the games at some point lmao
Amazing!
Congrats, man. You’re a legend.
It was so close to be a no hit too, great job that's impressive
Surprisingly in order to get through this game in its entirety you have to learn how to do some stages no-hit.
@@imSeamless_specially yang
I love the disconnect between benevolently sparing the bosses and that somehow is the right thing to do while you slit the throats of their underlings, stab them in the stomach and toss them at least two stories over a ledge. But it's cool, you spared the people in charge so you're totally a good guy.
Yo when you beat the second boss on his first stage with just one combo after your weapon broke. That was crazy and perfectly executed. Good stuff ! I see you
The fact you've included your controller and how you're playing this game makes it 10x better for beginners.. subbed.
9:08 had me dying of how she just chills there says something insulting just to get thrown off the balcony had me rolling 🤣
this game keeps up with you, it's truly beautiful to watch... very very well done
I can't believe you beat Kuroki like it was child's play, that too perfect!! INSANE MAN....INSANE...That high-to-low blow combination was killer. I don't think I could've discovered that myself.
I love how he just makes every boss look like a tutorial npc
Like someone else has commented here.. this is not just a speedrun or a gameplay but a masterpiece art. To me, it's like watching a hero movie! Where the hero always win and kickass. You're a hero in gaming and I wish you all the best in life as well. Hands-down.

So awesome seeing you transition from the mechanics of sekiro and dominating this game too. Congrats on the WR
1:36 AUGH I would NEVER have thought to use the top ledge like that!!! I love how you just throw everyone off like you’re handling suitcases at an airport, all their weapons lined up in neat rows! XDDD
I love how much strategy is involved, like yea raw skill is important but he uses lot of cool ideas to just make everything so much easier. Great work
Thank you for showing me an amazing game and what was clearly an amazing performance at the same time. Can't wait to try this.

Banger video as always. I love your content because I have a decent amount of time on Sekiro and Sifu so I actually can understand all of your strats.

Becoming a speedrunner was the next step for you. I am so happy that you have the world record for this game.
I think the only reason you didn't speedrun Sekiro is because you enjoy fighting in that game so much whereas you have to skip most of the game's content while speedrunning and use some cheesy techniques to beat the bosses in the fastest possible way.
1:23 Damn, my man is so good he even throw the weapon without seeing the enemy and it still HIT!
This speedrun gave me more tips to kill yang than any other guide with 10 minutes of talking
Did it with guides : was already 33 at the first stage
Did it with his strat : was 20 at stage 2
This is amazing. The squats production room fight and the first phase of kuroki blew my mind. Great stuff as always. Perhaps ng runs without a maxed out character in the future?
The kuroki run made me feel like I failed as a human being for struggling so hard with her, the second phase is probably the easiest boss in the game but that first phase was like hell for me
@@kahlebhowarth-jennings9688 I'd say the Metal boss is the easiest, but yeah Kuroki 2nd phase is a joke compared to phase 1.
@@Ch35h1r3C47 the old lady? Or Sean? If Sean I absolutely agree he’s a cake walk, but jafar isn’t much more difficult
@@kahlebhowarth-jennings9688 The old lady, Jinfeng. Her moves have insane range and hit hard, sure, but they're all slow and easy to dodge and she has pitiful health and structure integrity so she folds like a sheet of paper from a bit of pressure. She's easier than Shaun imo.
Also, you mean Fajar, Jafar is the villain from Aladdin.
