This brings back so many memories, so much nostalgia! I remember back in 2009, Assassin's Creed 2 had just been released, November month. I came home to my gaming buddy who showed me the path to gaming. He sat in his room playing a game that I had never seen before, some kind of Assassin game. I watched him play as he slew guards and killed his target with Ezio. I was completely sold and went to buy the game a couple of days later. From that moment I became an Assassin's Creed fan, Brotherhood came and I bought it instantly, loved it. Revelations came and I bought it instantly, absolutely loved it. After Revelations and the scene with Ezio interacting with Altaïrs corpse, I had such an emotional moment, the best scene ever. After Revelations I went and bought the first Assassin's Creed and played for hours. This game literally brings me back to 2009, it feels like I'm 9 years old again watching my friend play the beautiful game for the first time. I cannot describe the feeling I get from this trailer. The Brotherhood, Alamut the first Assassin fortress, the original hidden blade, the outfit, Ezio theme song, climbing mechanics, classic Assassin's Creed city feeling, the post-death scene with the feather. Everything looks beautiful.
Ubisoft is well known for making great cinematic trailers. Even though I love the settings, I'm going to wait for some gameplay footage before buying it.
Even so, the template is there from the OG games, so if it is true that they are going back to the roots of the series (Ezio and Altair games), surely they can’t f*ck it up? Definitely reasons to be optimistic.

I got into the series late, but I took every step that was taken in order, buying and playing them all up until about the middle of Odyssey because I haven't finished it yet -- I even bought Unity and the DLC -- so I at least partially understand how those of you who have been here since 2007 felt watching this franchise you love suffer. That being said, this *does* look good, and I will welcome a return to form with open arms and eyes filled with tears of joy.
I don't want to get my hopes up as they've been dashed before, but this really does have vibes from the first Assassins Creed. I would hope that we can finally come full circle so every story is cohesive enough.
When I started AC Valhalla, I found myself immediately drawn to Basim... imagine the pleasant surprise when I heard that Mirage is a full AC game about him which began as a DLC!... then they HAD to go and use freaking Shohreh Aghdashloo as Roshan! I haven't even experienced Basim's story yet and already I want to play a whole game centered around Roshan! I still can't believe they got Shohreh to voice act an Assassin!! I wouldn't be surprised if this game came from relative obscurity and end up becoming one of my favorites, much like Basim's story... in fact, Mirage almost feels like it's bringing Assassin's Creed full circle... a game that began as a spin-off of Prince of Persia... returns to Persia in full after starting as another spin-off! Outside of Feudal Japan, I must say that this setting feels the most perfectly suited for an Assassin's Creed. GOD I hope it's good!
Tears brought to my eyes man it's beautiful it's like watching my boys all over again but in one this trailer was badass so many memories this is the Assassin Creed we want

She's been in a lot Netflix shows too

Avassarala from the expanse ?
@@TheXAsama yep
This looks awesome! Like a combination of the original, Ezio's games and Origins. All my personal favourites. Don't wanna jinx it but this could be great
Looks like India
@@shgsvsvsvs3400 not really? It looks like Revelations which was also middle eastern
@@cbgg1585 And also being extremely skeptical.
@@cbgg1585 It's Ubisoft. Also known for delivering games well below expectations. I really want to be optimistic about Mirage so let's see.
Ubisoft doesn't make Cinematic trailers. For AC franchise, most of the trailers are from DIGIC pictures.
Now THIS seems like a proper sequel to the first couple games!! The trailer looks amazing!
I love that during his training, Basim looked smug because he thought he got his mentor cornered
WoW literally WOW. This is the Assassin's Creed that I fall in love with once before. This is the taste that we all love.
The way I immediately smiled when ezio's theme played 😌 Ubisoft MUST deliver with this game
they've used Ezio's theme in a lot of different trailers. it even plays in the inventory screen in Odyssey for some reason
I've got a good feeling about this game.
Feels like an actual AC game now
It doesn't feel like anything. Where is the gameplay?
The vibe from the trailer
@@lycanthropic1122 trailers usually have the same vibe the final game has. Valhalla trailer, for example, was a pretty good idea of what the game was going to be like. Safe to say this is no different.
No gameplay, no trust
It’s back guys. It’s back 😂😁 even if it’s a just a trailer still it’s feels almost like an eternity has passed since ac 1. Middle East, the original assassin outfit, the mention of the 3 tenets of the creed and the mention of the hidden ones. Yes hope is gleaming bright for this.
Let's not take our hopes off the shelfs yet
@@FREEDOMSMITHOFFICIAL we can if we want to. Not everyone has to of course but I'd just wish I didn't see a million comments trying to put down a hype for the game

I personally loved Valhalla and hated Basim at the end BUT I am curious to see how his story began.
I’m currently on my 2nd play through of Valhalla, gonna go a 3rd after I run through this next one a few times
Glad they used her as a voice actress. She is awesome on live action.
Shohreh Aghdashloo, she's wonderful and although she's a Persian actress she usually plays a middle eastern role or a wise mentor role. I'm glad to see her voice in the game
@@danny55531 yep her performance in the expanse took the series to another level.
One of my favorite series in a long time.
This looks like an actual assassins creed game finally. But we gotta see gameplay first, before we get our hopes too far up.
I hope so! So many interesting games and concepts are coming out in 2023.
a game can't be this beautiful, my childhood is breathing again
I got into the series late, but I took every step that was taken in order, buying and playing them all up until about the middle of Odyssey because I haven't finished it yet -- I even bought Unity and the DLC -- so I at least partially understand how those of you who have been here since 2007 felt watching this franchise you love suffer. That being said, this *does* look good, and I will welcome a return to form with open arms and eyes filled with tears of joy.
Finally an assassins creed game that actually explores the origins of assassins; the old man in the mountains, Hashashin
Outfit of the legend "Altair bin al ahad" 🔥😍
I'm wondering which historical event and historical figures we'll be seeing in this game. Those were always the highlight in Assassin's Creed for me.
Look up Bagdad history around 20 years before Valhalla Soo the 800s. I'm interested too
From what I researched it seems to be during the Anarchy at Samarra. It was a civil war that occurred during the Abbasid Caliphate
the assassins creed theme always giving me goosebumps
I don't want to get my hopes up as they've been dashed before, but this really does have vibes from the first Assassins Creed. I would hope that we can finally come full circle so every story is cohesive enough.
the voice acting seems so good, I hope the story telling matches it's quality
Seeing actual Assasins again makes me more happy than you can believe
GOD I hope it's good!
.....this isn't "Persia"
This absolutely looks beautiful and amazing. Finally I can see AC is back to its root. Looking forward to this!!!
It's a cinematic trailer so it means it not going to look like the real game at the graphics are going to be the same as Valhalla so don't get hyped
It's a CGI trailer.
Man, gamers are just dumb.
Is a CGI trailer little dumb
@@efecar5929 Yep, I couldn’t agree more
Tears brought to my eyes man it's beautiful it's like watching my boys all over again but in one this trailer was badass so many memories this is the Assassin Creed we want
1:32 is this place Masyaf ?, the mountains and towers are really looking same. İf we are able to see how Masyaf is builded that would EPİC
Possibly just similar architecture. I don't think Baghdad is close enough to where AC1 took place but who knows, I could be wrong
@@JG09101 Baghdad is in Iraq , Mesyaf is in Syria , so they are kinda close

We're finally getting what looks like an actual Assassin's Creed game now
Yes, yes and yes!!!! Finally ive been waiting for the game to come back to its roots !! I have no words for this! Its amazing ❤️

A little bit of customization is cool. Just the enemies with healthbars/levels and stuff need to go.

Giving me huge Altair vibes, can't wait!
This looks like the return to of the much better classic style of AC that the series needs atm. Combat and looks great and nice sneaky action.
Probably some story we haven't uncovered yet...
@@kg888 I was thinking the same thing lol. Why are people acting like this is a gameplay trailer?
@@kg888 I hope it plays like the old ones at least like I don’t like the rpg type gameplay
Finally, after so long we return to the roots. Now this is Assassin's Creed.
This trailer…actually gave me hope. But. They let me down too many times 😂
Looks nice, but I need gameplay. Ubisoft has not given me any reason to trust them with this franchise in a very long time.
it's ubisuck after all
@@hallo4651 at one point they were my favorite. Loved the first line of AC games. Loved ghost recon wildlands

WHAT!!! This looks AMAZING! It has the OG AC feel that got me hooked on the franchise. LOVING the environment, has a Jerusalem/Damascus vibe.
Ubisoft better be careful they are coming dangerously close to having a clue and having me back as a customer.
Wow. I haven't been excited about an AC game in a very long time. This genuinely feels like a successor to the original. The franchise really strayed far from the days of Altair and Ezio but this looks to be getting us right back to the golden era of AC. I'm so stoked!
just wait till they add grind and xp to it
Bro you didn’t like origins or odyssey?! Some of the most visually stunning games ever, I liked all the ac games but those were dope af
I'm just praying they're going back to the basics with this one like I heard they. If they do it's an instant pre order for me
dude the feather scene chills me
This looks fantastic, I hope it lives up to it
Looks like we might be getting the feel of AC we've been missing for the past few years, let's just home they deliver not only on gameplay but story as well
Basim is Loki (the god)
it kinda had the vibe of assassin's creed odyssey and assassin's creed 2 which means we got ourselves a real assassin's creed game
Oh, imagine a land, it's a faraway place
Where the caravan camels roam
Where you wander among every culture and tongue
It's chaotic, but, hey, it's home
When the wind's from the East
And the sun's from the West
And the sand in the glass is right
Come on down, stop on by
Hop a carpet and fly
To another Arabian night
As you wind through the streets
At the fabled bazaars
With the cardamom-cluttered stalls
You can smell every spice
While you haggle the price
Of the silks and the satin shawls
Oh, the music that plays as you move through a maze
In the haze of your pure delight
You are caught in a dance
You are lost in the trance
Of another Arabian night
Arabian nights
Like Arabian days
More often than not are hotter than hot
In a lot of good ways
Arabian nights
Like Arabian dreams
This mystical land of magic and sand
Is more than it seems
There's a road that may lead you
To good or to greed through
The power your wishing commands
Let the darkness unfold or find fortunes untold
Well, your destiny lies in your hands
Only one may enter here
One whose worth lies far within
A diamond in the rough
Arabian nights
Like Arabian days
They seem to excite, take off and take flight
To shock and amaze
Arabian nights
'Neath Arabian moons
A fool off his guard could fall and fall hard
Out there on the dunes
I was thinking the same thing.
I have a feeling that we’re gonna have the old Assassins Creed back. I really hope so from the looks of it. Giving Ezio vibes.
Hopefully they go back to the roots of assassins creed. Another beautiful trailer
