@@MementoMori7777 Played it and loved it, but I still like the AC world size, traversal and atmosphere. I like having actually populated cities & towns, with side quests and such, instead of just maybe one short side mission per town. Rise of Ronin is the closest thing to that, but it feels like a lower budget game and a bit clunky compared to what a series with the experience and budget that AC has could do.

And yet after they are released, they backed them up in fact the last one actually did very well thanks to learning from the mistakes from others which to be fair has been developing peace by bloody piece.
Well even Ubisoft didn't make the trailers, they are outsourced to other studios mainly Digic Pictures. They usually handle the cinematic trailers.

It's impractical for a unicorn to walk around freely without expecting it not to stand out in the stable. I contradicted myself, but the point is made. After some time, he left Japan with the Portuguese with whom he arrived there. It only takes a few minutes to find information on this topic. I don't recommend Wikipedia.
he wasn't a slave, he was a mercenary hired to be Oda's bodyguard. He wasn't a Samurai though, but he didn't go around fighiting for Oda

It was always unrealistic but still somewhat made sense in the first game. Rest of the games, guards were just blind. Now the assassin's don't even wear their classic robes.

Valignano was sent to Japan as Ambassador of the Viceroy of India. "Yasuke" was described in a letter as a slave by the portuguese ( we don't actualy know if he was still a slave or a free man when the ship departed from India but we are sure that he was a slave before and passed most of his life in India... most likely he still was since he was under the control of Jesuit and they traded him off to Oda). Fun fact he wasn't the first African man that set foot in Japan was the first one to reach Kyoto. Second is also known and documented that He wasn't a samurai nor a warrior since he never recieved from Oda Nobunaga the double sword (Daishō- Katana + Wakizashi that every samurai recieve ) but just a short sword, which is already a big honor to beeing able to have a weapon in the presence of your daimyō. Also is very well known that "Yasuke" was a footboy not a samurai and that he was always accompanied by a translator couse he didn't spoke japanese. (next is just speculation) He most likely died with Oda since we don't have any info of ppl seeing him in japan and there wasn't no trace of him in the report of the european ship that set sail after Oda death...

I used to play assassin's creed when i was a kid. As long I remember every era and region they depicted was quite appropriate. Arabian protagonist in Arab, Europeans in Europe but I don't get this why they put a non-Japanese guy as a lead in a game that aims to portray ancient Japan? Anyone please shed some light.
I guess we are going to ignore that Edward Kenway is a character not native to the setting he’s in and the fact that Yasuke is an historical figure so his placement in the story makes sense, and the primary protagonist, Naoe is native Japanese.
