The original version of "The Sound Of Silence" was released in October 1964 as an acoustic ballad recorded by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. Paul Simon, the writer said: "We have people unable to touch other people, unable to love other people. "The Sound Of Silence" is about the inability to communicate."

People I know, places I go
Make me feel tongue tied
But I can see how people look down
They're on the inside
Here's where the story ends
People I see, weary of me
Showing my good side
I can see how people look down
I'm on the outside
Here's where the story ends
Ooh, here's where the story ends
It's that little souvenir of a terrible year
Which makes my eyes feel sore
Oh, I never should have said the books that you read
Were all I loved you for
It's that little souvenir of a terrible year
Which makes me wonder why
It's the memories of your shed that make me turn red
Surprise, surprise, surprise
Crazy I know, places I go
Make me feel so tired
And I can see how people look down
I'm on the outside
Oh, here's where the story ends
Ooh, here's where the story ends
It's that little souvenir of a terrible year
Which makes my eyes feel sore
And who ever would've thought the books that you brought
Were all I loved you for
Oh, the devil in me said, "Go down to the shed"
I know where I belong
But the only thing I ever really wanted to say
Was wrong, was wrong, was wrong
It's that little souvenir of a colorful year
Which makes me smile inside
So I cynically, cynically say the world is that way
Surprise, surprise, surprise, surprise, surprise
Here's where the story ends

They also sing Sounds of Silence. They are an acapella group from Texas. You will be blown away.
Makes me cry every time. Without fail. So I cried during this !
@@RussianReactionReviews Not ashamed nope!! Actually very cathartic. Apart from. The stuffed up nose and headache I feel err a lot better!! Great reaction video!
It's amazing how much more you can get into a song when you don't pause it every twenty seconds, especially during the most critical parts of the song
She was bearing her soul. And I'm sure she will listen to it over and over and hopefully watch the video!
Well said.
Also to be fair she said she had the lyrics pulled up so she can read and understand the song that way
But… she literally *has* to stop it so she doesn’t get a copyright strike🤷🏻♂️
not sure what you're complaining about, she seemed to get into the song just fine =\
You go girl, cry all you want it's good for you! Love your dog also! And you are beautiful and love your accent. I do suggest you watch the video it is amazing. Be blessed, keep up the beautiful work thank you

Great reaction. BAD ASS Song. If you ever thought of Modeling, I will sighn you. No Shit!!! You are BEAUTIFUL! Kudos!!!!!
I think that you are thinking of Watchmen rather than V for Vendetta. This song was during the Comedian's funeral. I don't think it was in V for Vendetta. But Watchmen is by the same company and from the same author, so: close.
I love your total honesty. It is beautiful and so rare.
What a beautiful, honest, and heartfelt reaction. I share your feelings and reaction to the song. God bless.
I want to go to sleep at night to the sound of that lovely dog snoring
Beautiful Song !

And Music can do that Exactly to U ,No matter How tough we might think we R, or Important We might think We R !
Old Aussie Gent here, grew up with this Song ,So Recognised it immediately & Even today,Still as Powerful now ,as it was then !
Take Good Care & Godbless to all from Down Under , Australia !
David Draiman Was trained in operatic singing and he is primarily a metal/hard rock singer. His vocal range is insane though. Disturbed was one of my favorite bands growing up. The original song was written and performed by Simon and Garfunkel. Also amazing in their own right. We all know Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme. That was Simon and Garfunkel.
Montana came to the rescue 🙂 Beautiful reaction Irina!!
aww thank you Shawn
Honest heartfelt reaction.
Don’t apologize for your emotions ❤❤❤. This song has that visceral effect on everyone ❤❤❤❤
You probably know it from a meme of a gerbil that went viral.😊
