I believe that they are emotionally at best 2-4 yrs of age. Stuck there forever with no therapy with the RIGHT person. That said, and with an adult body, this causes so much more damage than a child who has not been out in the world, and who is under the authority of an "adult". The only difference between a born psychopath (they are BORN not made - "broken brain" as I cope with it). That is scientific. A narc/psychopath is that at times, a narc/psychopath can feel shame and remorse. They know exactly what they are doing, even before they do it. It is premediated at all times. But like any predator, they feel shame only when called out. They are unable to FEEL empathy though they know what it means.

Yep...mine two weeks later when I left and moved out with my kids. He shows up and says this is my girl friend and she is going to watch our son...and then when I went to get the baby from him why the new girl friend tells me what the doctor said instead of his daddy telling me. I kindly said, ma'am, I made the baby with him, not you. A month later she called me bitter because I told her if she was going to watch my child I need her information for a background check. He didn't want to pay for daycare. Long story short, she called me a year later and apologized as he ended up beating her up and he would get mad at her if she was not able to watch our. She seriously said, I see why you only kept it about the kids and see why you told me upfront to call you when he has his rages. I am not going to lie,the first two weeks I felt like I was a drug addict, I had all sorts of widthrals. TRIANGULATION is real.

My ex who I’m still married to filed for divorce but won’t serve me or complete the process. He’s in a whole other relationship with a kid. I can’t file myself because he already has a case open. It’s been almost 2 years since he filed and he has yet to have me served. If petty was a person it would be him.

After he devalued me and discarded me after several cycles, I decided to let it go completely and discard him because I can't keep putting it up with it. He sent me messages of him at the movies with another female, told me how much he's in love with his "new babe", claims she bought him a new watch, called me a bum 😂 everything! But I haven't responded and never will because I know he's doing it to get a reaction out of me. He still calls me every day, texts me disrespectful messages. The only reason why I haven't completely blocked him is because I need these messages as a reference for when Im lonely or want to reach out. It's a reminder to stay away. Block him. He’s feeding off of you. Find a support group on Facebook. Leaving a way in for him weakens you and your defense and makes it easier to go back. Please protect yourself. I’ve been out three years and no contact , lots of stalking, he got engaged less than three months after the discard or I walked away whatever doesn’t matter then he got married less than a year into the marriage they split. I’ve grown so much mentally and spiritually. Till this day, he still stalking me he took a crap on my car, egged my house and my neighbors house. Now we have cameras everywhere and I made a police report. People should always keep themselves safe from these type of people. My ex keeps trying to introduce our 5 yr old who is struggling with the split to a women he was cheating on me with that lives in a whole other country. He hasn't visited this women 10 times yet and we have been broken up less than a yr. I knew it was to hurt me but it is nice to hear you confirm it. I don't talk to him at all unless it has to do with the baby so involving her is the only way he can try to hurt me with his "relationship " and I use that word loosely because he was already cheating on this women before I moved out. He doesn't realize I am never going to be jealous of them being his next victim. That is like being jealous of someone you know is about to be tortured
I have to agree! The new person has no idea what they're in for or how they're going to suffer. They're believing the lies the narc tells them (& everybody else) about us & their smear campaign. I’m in the EXACT same situation. We broke up 3 months ago and I would say within 2 months, he had our recently turned 5 year old son, around a work colleague he cheated on me with, her 3 kids & has already taken him to her house. All whilst telling our son to keep this a secret. Our son has been struggling with the split IMMENSELY at home and in school, would clearly be confused about who this woman is, as he is only ever around my friends who are all women, or female family members…so his narcissistic Dad knows exactly what he’s doing. Can’t say I’ve worked through the anger yet, but at least it’s being done silently and nowhere near this narcissist’s inflated sense of self/ego. He gets NOTHING from me. Ever again in his waking life. Not even to hear how painful this has been.

I finally discarded him after 16 years and what you’re describing about the dating is exactly what he did. He was bragging about all the new women he had (though he did slip and admit that they didn’t last long, like weeks at best because of how he acts).

Great point! This is exactly the reason why I do all activities like birthdays, school ceremonies, etc separate from the Narc. My kids have 2 bday parties, vacations, etc. 1 with mom, and the other with dad and whoever! I know what he is capable of and I don’t put myself, or my kids in a position to witness the pettiness! He alienated me from his family by making me out to be something I’m not, and I’m glad he did because I don’t have to deal with them either! In the process of him explaining himself he discarded me, after he asked me if I could ever trust him again, and could I forgive him. I told him, No! That's when he discarded me. What he didn't know was, I had no plans of ever taking him back, or dealing with him again. He thought I was going to chase him, after he hurt me. The devil is a lie!!! Never again!!!

I’m speechless because this has helped me so much with dealing with a narcissist that discarded me and my children. I just recently found out what a narcissist is and when I say every video I have watched is who I was dealing with! What happens when the victim disappears? Absolute No Contact: No calls, no texts, no checking their social media, no interaction whatsoever... establishing big walls to avoid any contact. Once I found out that he was a narcissist, I was the one who filed for a divorce and went away. I know that I will see his "propaganda" if I go and check his social media, so I blocked, unfriended, etc. I also told my family and close ones to avoid being "flying monkeys" and avoid bringing messages. I feel that this was Reverse Discard when he pushed me to the verge of tolerance, so I decided that enough was enough. I still wonder if he was expecting me to go through with the divorce hahaha.... as he didn't even engage through the Court and disregarded the Court orders. I was granted the divorce in the end... So, my question is: what happens when someone takes this position? Was he expecting me to chase him?

Yes! Once the divorce was finalized my ex husband started showing up to the weekend exchanges for the kids with his new girlfriend. My ex Narc would play his poor lovely sister galore. When I told my ex we were just not compatible and breaking up, he must of texted her and she texted me asking me “Is my brother ok?” I finally had to share with her some of the issues her brother truly has. She doesn’t know because she lives far away and he pretends he’s a great man to her. No wonder she says that her brother is the finest man she’s ever known. NOT! I never told her but he used her to do all the research and paperwork on his divorce. Had her running like a chicken without a head but he was living it up with me and chilling and watching tv and going out etc. all having her believing he can’t do it or had time. Wow! I know it was a delicate situation to tell her that her brother needs help because he suffers from a lot of mental and emotional issues but I had to do it. I told her the truth that I cannot stay with him because he’s all over the place and he’s passive aggressive. I don’t need any emotional abuse from no one. Lastly I told her that as a family, she and her siblings and his adult sons should really intervene and push him to get some very much needed help. I told her all the petty things he says and does and how he is emotionally stumped. Massive separation anxiety and co-dependency. He cannot talk to him about any issues in the relationship without him getting overly sensitive, frustrated and angry. There is a mental gymnastics thinking to him. A lot of cognizant dissidence going on. Plus that he lies about so much and even for things he doesn’t even need to lie about. I told her all the petty things he’s told me when he gets mad or I needed space. She couldn’t believe her ears. He even told me not to contact them about anything. She was just floored. He’s been fooling almost anyone he can. Idk how he could take money from all of them and then be spending it on himself and taking me out and tot trips. When I found that out I stopped the trips but he didn’t care and kept spending money. Please anyone with this type of person, leave and don’t look back. This is about them and not you.

Thank you Leon, you have described it exactly as it happened when I left him I didn't file for divorce as I was looking after my sister who was terminally ill. He sent the divorce papers a week after my sisters funeral and got married even before our divorce was finalised. Everyone were commenting on how he was so in love with her and besotted with her. The children were devastated as he didn't tell them about the divorce or remarrying again and like you said thought they would get over it. Being a narc it was all about him. I guess I caused a big ego injury and he wanted to get me back but he played himself as he married the first person that showed interest in him and I suspect she is narc too.

I believe that they are emotionally at best 2-4 yrs of age. Stuck there forever with no therapy with the RIGHT person. That said, and with an adult body, this causes so much more damage than a child who has not been out in the world, and who is under the authority of an "adult". The only difference between a born psychopath (they are BORN not made - "broken brain" as I cope with it). That is scientific. A narc/psychopath is that at times, a narc/psychopath can feel shame and remorse. They know exactly what they are doing, even before they do it. It is premediated at all times. But like any predator, they feel shame only when called out. They are unable to FEEL empathy though they know what it means.

He shows up and says this is my girl friend and she is going to watch our son...and then when I went to get the baby from him why the new girl friend tells me what the doctor said instead of his daddy telling me. I kindly said, ma'am, I made the baby with him, not you. A month later she called me bitter because I told her if she was going to watch my child I need her information for a background check. He didn't want to pay for daycare. Long story short, she called me a year later and apologized as he ended up beating her up and he would get mad at her if she was not able to watch our. She seriously said, I see why you only kept it about the kids and see why you told me upfront to call you when he has his rages. I am not going to lie,the first two weeks I felt like I was a drug addict, I had all sorts of widthrals. TRIANGULATION is real.

The only reason why I haven't completely blocked him is because I need these messages as a reference for when Im lonely or want to reach out. It's a reminder to stay away. I’ve been out three years and no contact , lots of stalking, he got engaged less than three months after the discard or I walked away whatever doesn’t matter then he got married less than a year into the marriage they split. I’ve grown so much mentally and spiritually. Till this day, he still stalking me he took a crap on my car, egged my house and my neighbors house. We broke up 3 months ago and I would say within 2 months, he had our recently turned 5 year old son, around a work colleague he cheated on me with, her 3 kids & has already taken him to her house. All whilst telling our son to keep this a secret. Our son has been struggling with the split IMMENSELY at home and in school, would clearly be confused about who this woman is, as he is only ever around my friends who are all women, or female family members…so his narcissistic Dad knows exactly what he’s doing.
Can’t say I’ve worked through the anger yet, but at least it’s being done silently and nowhere near this narcissist’s inflated sense of self/ego. He gets NOTHING from me. Ever again in his waking life. Not even to hear how painful this has been.

I’m speechless because this has helped me so much with dealing with a narcissist that discarded me and my children. I just recently found out what a narcissist is and when I say every video I have watched is who I was dealing with! What happens when the victim disappears? Absolute No Contact: No calls, no texts, no checking their social media, no interaction whatsoever... establishing big walls to avoid any contact. Once I found out that he was a narcissist, I was the one who filed for a divorce and went away. I know that I will see his "propaganda" if I go and check his social media, so I blocked, unfriended, etc. I also told my family and close ones to avoid being "flying monkeys" and avoid bringing messages. I feel that this was Reverse Discard when he pushed me to the verge of tolerance, so I decided that enough was enough. I still wonder if he was expecting me to go through with the divorce hahaha.... as he didn't even engage through the Court and disregarded the Court orders. I was granted the divorce in the end... So, my question is: what happens when someone takes this position? Was he expecting me to chase him?

When I told my ex we were just not compatible and breaking up, he must of texted her and she texted me asking me “Is my brother ok?” I finally had to share with her some of the issues her brother truly has. She doesn’t know because she lives far away and he pretends he’s a great man to her. No wonder she says that her brother is the finest man she’s ever known. NOT! I never told her but he used her to do all the research and paperwork on his divorce. Had her running like a chicken without a head but he was living it up with me and chilling and watching tv and going out etc. all having her believing he can’t do it or had time. Wow! I know it was a delicate situation to tell her that her brother needs help because he suffers from a lot of mental and emotional issues but I had to do it. I told her the truth that I cannot stay with him because he’s all over the place and he’s passive aggressive. I don’t need any emotional abuse from no one. Lastly I told her that as a family, she and her siblings and his adult sons should really intervene and push him to get some very much needed help. I told her all the petty things he says and does and how he is emotionally stumped. Massive separation anxiety and co-dependency. He cannot talk to him about any issues in the relationship without him getting overly sensitive, frustrated and angry. There is a mental gymnastics thinking to him. A lot of cognizant dissidence going on. Plus that he lies about so much and even for things he doesn’t even need to lie about. I told her all the petty things he’s told me when he gets mad or I needed space. She couldn’t believe her ears. He even told me not to contact them about anything. She was just floored. He’s been fooling almost anyone he can. Idk how he could take money from all of them and then be spending it on himself and taking me out and tot trips. When I found that out I stopped the trips but he didn’t care and kept spending money. Please anyone with this type of person, leave and don’t look back. This is about them and not you.

But I just want to say that I am truly grateful for your Bravery and in someone way, somehow, having the ability to reach deep down within and grasp the selflessness it takes to do any of this. (I hear you talk about therapy) There's not many ppl that I know of that can or very much know and chose to entertain that they even have a problem. That's a huge part of the process of changing who we are when we walk this earth. So as not to keep the generational cycles of the same pain going into generations to come. Having the inner knowing to help catapult you to a higher, better version of your present self is gold. Then to actually go make the change happen is amazing! Even if you don't think so. Hi Leon, I really appreciate your content. A lot of what you say confirms a lot of what I suspected. It irritates the hell out of me when men try harder to hurt the woman or make a woman feel bad, but don't give that same energy to do the "Right" thing. I want to be done with this relationship thing. But a part of me wants to try one more time!! It just appears to me that there are too many Leon's out there. I didn't file for divorce as I was looking after my sister who was terminally ill. He sent the divorce papers a week after my sisters funeral and got married even before our divorce was finalised. Everyone were commenting on how he was so in love with her and besotted with her. The children were devastated as he didn't tell them about the divorce or remarrying again and like you said thought they would get over it. Being a narc it was all about him. I guess I caused a big ego injury and he wanted to get me back but he played himself as he married the first person that showed interest in him and I suspect she is narc too.

Why can’t a narcissist leave his side piece? I found out that he keeps her and I finally had the courage to remove myself completely after 3 years of going back and forth … he kept going to that woman after I would leave over and over .. she was ok being with him while I was gone and through my pregnancy. Hurt so bad. But now I had enough. I found out and he acts like nothing 😭😭😭

I get a sense that in times you're speaking from experience and still something's felt. On your behalf. No shame it takes a grown ass person to admit it. But this is where great things can happen. We own it, or we keep living in denial and going around bleeding all over everyone and anyone who didn't cut us.. but we never really lose in life.. I saw it with my own eyes when he took his mask .I can't believe it .I cried I didn't know im living and sleeping to a very disturb person and no brain .but as days goes by I accepted and move on with my lifev.i have still PTSD because of 37 years Ike living in a fog .abuse and controlled .but that condition of my mind became clearer and tried to heal my traumatic experience

My ex was already with someone and they went to the adult store together only six days after I left. I only found out bc I had to go to the bank and open a new account and the gentlemen suggested that I use the banking app which I wasn't into at the time. Well I ended up signing in to see if a ticket she got was paid for and stumbled upon several purchases. I got so sick to my stomach I almost vomited in the back yard. Eventually we spoke she lied and gaslighted me. Some time later I went to get my stuff and a lot of my stuff was broken. Called the cops and they didn't do anything.
Yup brought her to church and her kids my kids hung out with her loved he. They're little... What evvverrr fools God is my strength! Praise Jesus! Don't come at me I got God.
