I have the Worst cowlick in the back of my head. I watched you video, followed your technique and problem solved! THANK YOU soooo much for your video! You made a difference in my life! ❤
I would love a video on how to fix a front cowlick. I like a side part and my hair lays best parted on the left but bc of hair thinning it would look better parted on the right but I have that pesky cowlick there.
Thank you for making this video! At what point in the process do you put the styling get on -- before adding the water? or just out of the shower? I am definitely going to try this! I think I may need a new hairdryer that has those settings!
Happy to help, if you are getting out of the shower with freshly washed hair you would do the gel on wet hair right before you dry it. If it’s dirty hair then spray with water and then do the gel
I have insane colicky and growth patterns in the nape of my head. We fix this by doing a nape shave undercut and leaving the rest of my long enough to cover the nape shave. It looks great 👍
@@TheAngeSchofield Exactly 💯 We just make sure that we leave enough length to cover it and it works perfectly 🥰 💞 Thankfully, I don't have too long of a neck, so it works great 😀 😄 😊
Do you have any suggestions for aggressive nape cowlicks? I have a bob and one side appears shorter than the other, although they are actually the same length. I use a round brush to style it, but the one side stays like 15 minutes. I'm 50 so I don't want long hair. I've been considering a Korean down perm as a temporary fix.
Those are very hard to deal with because they don’t have the weight or length of hair to weigh down the cowlick. A Korean perm might be your best bet or you can have your stylist shave up into the cowlick underneath to remove it (that will obviously have to be done fairly often to remove the regrowth every few weeks)
@@TheAngeSchofield Wow, thanks so much for your thoughtful reply! Much appreciated! :) Yes, I was also thinking about an undercut. At some point as you age and your hair thins, having long hair to conceal a cowlick and weigh it down just isn't practical anymore. Thanks again! :)
I have exactly the same and it drives me crazy. Do you think it’s worse with short layers than longer layers. I keep thinking something will long term fix it but nothing does, it needs to be addressed every time my hair is not done out of the shower.
Longer layers should help because the weight of the hair will help push that cowlick down. Unfortunately there isn’t a longer term fix since that is just your hair growth pattern, like Beth said you could do a Korean perm to smooth out the cowlick but when you get regrowth or the perm washes out after a few months it would be needed again 🥰

Yes I can definitely post a video on how to fix that 🥰
We had tried to Tame the crazy growth patterns to no avail! Thankfully, my head shape is good for the nape shave undercut
Well sounds like a great solution ❤️
@@TheAngeSchofield Most definitely!!
Thank you ❤

Love this! Can I use a medium size blow dry brush to do same thing? I hate my huge cowlick in back
Yes that is a great idea

Love shaving the nape if anyone is ok with it!! If you can’t fix it you might as well get rid of it 🤣

Yay!!! That makes me so happy
I always do high lights. 50 vol peroxide. And bleach. I lol want you did with the copper. Very cute.
I will have to admit… I’ve never done anything higher than 40 vol ❤️ thank you

I think I'm going to try a Korean down perm to temporarily lay my cowlick down.
