That’s an interesting point! While body type can influence how clothes fit, I believe confidence and personality play a huge role in pulling off any style. 🌈 Fashion is all about expressing who you are, regardless of shape or size!😊✨
I am 73 and a former model like Linda. It's not easy to remain slim, but the health benefits make the efforts worth it. Lower blood pressure, lower "bad" cholesterol, less pressure on joints (particularly knees and hips!) are all benefits of being relatively slim. Also being fit - which is different - but also so good for your body, your independence. Stay active, and, "use it or lose it." Thanks for the video; it gave me some new tips.
Agree however being slender myself for most of my life (thanks to genetics) and still am at age 78, it too can have its challenges as not to dress too young yet still look current and modern.
Absolutely! Good genetics can play a significant role, but maintaining a healthy lifestyle through balanced nutrition and regular exercise is equally important. It's all about finding what works best for your body and feeling good in your own skin! 💪✨
Not genetics at all. I’m tired of people saying that to me at 45 years old. I do eat healthy Monday to Friday and go to the gym 5 days per week to keep my figure. Once that I hit 39 my metabolism slows down.

Being large doesn't mean you have to be frumpy!!!!!! Don't try to copy what smaller people are wearing!...and accessories (but not too much can make you and what you are wearing VERY CHIC.
I agree. Linda has the qualities to enhance style; tall, slim, experiences, charism, and charm. If you ain't got that, you will NEVER look that good no matter the outfits
Style isn’t just about physical appearance; it’s about how you carry yourself, how you feel in your clothes, and how you use fashion to communicate your personality. Sure, some outfits might look different on different body types, but the key is finding what makes *you* feel empowered and fabulous.
I really love the way she puts colours together. I think fashion has been missing colour for a while. I don’t know where this idea that to look chic or ‘old money style’ that you shouldn’t introduce colour? Linda proves you can still look expensive with colour.
I completely agree! Linda (or anyone with a strong sense of style) shows that color can be both vibrant and sophisticated. The idea that muted tones or monochromatic outfits are the only way to look "chic" or "old money" seems limiting. Fashion is about self-expression, and color can enhance that in such a dynamic way. Mixing colors thoughtfully can exude confidence, creativity, and even luxury. Linda’s approach proves that you can look elegant, refined, and still have fun with bold, well-coordinated colors. It's refreshing to see someone bring that energy and vibrancy back into fashion! 🌈👗✨
Some women just have that natural confidence and charisma that makes any outfit look incredible. It’s not always about the clothes - it’s about how they carry themselves, their posture, and that inner glow that shines through. Whether it’s a simple black and white look or something bold and colorful, they just make it work effortlessly. Style truly does come from within! ✨💃
Yes, she looks great and she wears her stylish clothes with confidence and beauty. but that’s because 1 she is at a good height, great body, slim. Genetically she has aged beautifully. Genetics plays a major role in how you look. Physical appearance is defined by the genes inherited from our parents. Maintaining a healthy body is very important. Maintaining a healthy body and mind contributes to all aspects of your life. Unfortunately, that is not always the norm.
You are right, genetics do play a significant role in how we look, but it is important to remember that confidence and style can also be developed regardless of physical attributes. Maintaining health is not only a matter of appearance, but also of inner well-being. Each of us can find our own unique approach to self-care, which ultimately reflects on our appearance and self-perception. 🙏
Now I'm in my 60s I love scarves, and have a lot of them. As I'm a petite a fitted accent on top with a solid colour below lengthens the legs, in my humble opinion.
That sounds like a wonderful style strategy! Scarves are such a versatile accessory, and your approach to balancing fitted tops with solid colors below is perfect for creating a flattering, elongated look. Keep rocking your fabulous style! 😊🧣✨
I see her as tall and stylishly attractive, in an “about to go yachting” kind of way. If I were rigorously honest, my choice of fashion mentor would be a fetching elderly woman 5 ft tall, with a definite post-menopausal middle, size D bosom, widening hip girth and bunions that require comfortable shoes at all times. Even showing swimsuit looks. As a teenager I read Seventeen magazine, loved the fashion do’s and do nots section, and imagined myself a bit fashion savvy from having read it. Maybe we boomers could enjoy a fashion and style publication called Seventy- highlighting women of all makes and models - could be fun. Thanks for posting an interesting topic.
What a vivid and charming description! I love how you paint the picture of this "about to go yachting" look-it's effortless, chic, and full of character. Your idea of a fashion mentor is so relatable, especially for those who prioritize comfort and practicality without sacrificing style. It’s refreshing to think of fashion in terms of real bodies and life experiences, embracing every change along the way. The idea of a magazine like *Seventy* is brilliant! A publication that highlights women of all shapes, sizes, and ages, with a focus on mature style, would be such a valuable addition to the fashion world. Fashion is for everyone, and a platform that celebrates women in their seventies (and beyond) would definitely inspire confidence and creativity, while breaking away from the narrow beauty standards often seen in traditional media. Boomers certainly have a unique sense of style, shaped by decades of trends and self-expression. A magazine like that would bring fun and empowerment to fashion at any age. Thank you for sharing such a fun and thoughtful idea!
Absolutely! Comfort is key, especially as we get older. It’s great to see someone embracing stylish yet practical choices like Birkenstock-style sandals. Fashion should always be about feeling good in what you wear, no matter the trends! 👏👡💖
Absolutely! Fashion knows no age limits! 🌟 It's all about expressing yourself and feeling confident in what you wear. Let's celebrate our unique styles at every stage of life! 😊❤️
Absolutely! Sensible shoes and a good fitted bra can make a world of difference in comfort and confidence. Pairing them with your unique style is a perfect recipe for looking and feeling great at any age. Well said! 👏👠✨

I see these kind of videos and posts so often and I have to laugh because number one, this one is voiced by AI so you know I just don’t put a lot of credence in it. Secondly, this woman is wealthy, has great genes, and frankly, has had a great deal of luck on her side. So this is sort of a fantasy and it’s not really realistic. She doesn’t represent the average woman. Thousands of us could look that good if we had her money, if we had her clothing, if we had her lifestyle, if we had had her health, and if we had her genes. So it’s not realistic. This woman is blessed in ways, that scores of women are not, and never will be. This is like looking at the lifestyle of the rich, and the blessed and the healthy and the beautiful. So what’s your point??
I understand your perspective! It's true that many factors contribute to someone's appearance and style. However, I believe the message is about embracing your own unique beauty and finding inspiration in different styles, regardless of circumstances. Everyone can find ways to express themselves! Thank you for sharing your thoughts! 😊
I understand where you're coming from, and it can definitely feel that way sometimes. 🌼 Style can be about creativity and personal expression, not just high price tags. Thrift stores, upcycling, and mixing and matching can lead to some amazing looks without breaking the bank!? 😊✨
Marshall’s and Target now have fun and fashionable clothing. Always try to have great sunglasses. I have lots all under $20 each. Have super cut and color for hair. Stand tall! Have fun!
Even if you shop at WALMART or else you can find pieces and STYLE them the way this lady does. Yes, I can’t afford cashmere or birkin loafers but can find similar pieces and walla I look good. Try it and don’t be so negative.
Thanks for your comment, Dr. Anna! It's great to see such engaging discussions here. I'm not sure why some comments might be disappearing, but I appreciate you bringing it up. Let's keep the conversation going-stylish women truly are inspiring! 🌟
I don't get this design, it looks lovely but does not make sense. She's dressed in a sweater, top and scarf to keep warm and has sandals on. It's cold outside and she's dressed in sweaters but her feet a bare. She should put on socks and closed shoes to keep warm to complement the outfits. Otherwise, the outfits are adorable!
I see what you mean! It’s interesting how some outfits can be visually stunning but feel a bit impractical when you consider the weather. The mix of a warm sweater and scarf with open-toed sandals can create a bit of confusion, especially if it's cold outside. This kind of styling is often more about the aesthetic or making a statement rather than practicality. In fashion, there’s sometimes a playful contradiction, like mixing seasonal elements-think summer sandals with winter wear. But if we’re being realistic, socks and closed shoes would indeed complement the cozy vibe better if warmth is the goal. That said, fashion can be art, and sometimes it’s about the visual balance or breaking the rules. But yes, a chic pair of closed shoes or boots could definitely pull the whole look together while being more practical! 😊
I totally get it! Finding the right fit can be a challenge, especially at 4'11", but remember-confidence is key, and fashion is all about what makes *you* feel good! 😊👗 Keep rocking your unique style!
That's fantastic! It's all about confidence and how you carry yourself. 🌟 Everyone has their own unique style, and it’s great to hear you feel fabulous at 80! 😊✨
@@Personalityandstyle-ep7iy Thank you, you are generous. I wrote the truth - not vanity - and not as I, but as others perceive me. I am simply blessed with excellent genes, as are all my family. Good looks are fleeting and we must all realise this - it’s merely a question of luck and careful maintenance that they can last into one’s 80’s and beyond. It’s not everything, but certainly not anything that merits bitchy and unnecessary envious remarks from complete strangers. A youthful appearance is definitely desirable but there are more important things going on in this difficult world towards which these types should be venting their venom. Do THEY realise how THEY come across? Of course not - they can be found in every walk of life, these cowards, their jealous toxicity is easily discernible and just as easily avoided. Sadly, an attitude of indifference only serves to inflame their nastiness further. I have noticed that this particular individual has set out to discriminate and hurt others. If she is reading this, which I hope, please understand that the only loser is your sad, pointless and silly self. You are wasting your time if your twisted aim is to hurt and destroy. What else do you have for satisfaction….I could almost pity you. But not quite. Go away and TRY to do some good. Every day, TRY to add a little happiness to someone’s life without being Mother Theresa. Thats my advice, now go crawl under your stone. Where you belong. Sorry, but that’s the truth too.
Socks and sandals can definitely be a divisive style choice! Some people see it as a bold, quirky trend, while others feel it doesn't quite work, especially depending on the proportions or how it's styled.style is so personal-what works for one might not work for another!
Not for me either because I have wide feet. But they look good on Linda Wright - the way she wears them - otherwise Birkenstock can look terribly frumpy, they are dicey
95% Linda’s success in pulling off her unique style is the simple fact that she is slim.

It’s not always about the clothes - it’s about how they carry themselves, their posture, and that inner glow that shines through. Whether it’s a simple black and white look or something bold and colorful, they just make it work effortlessly. Style truly does come from within! ✨💃

How nice ideas ideas verygoog
Thank you so much! I'm glad you like the ideas! 😊✨
It helps that she has a wonderful model body and beautiful bone structure! I suspect she could wear a potato sack and still look gorgeous.
@@Personalityandstyle-ep7iy I am assuming that you agree to my comments
Indeed, indeed, every outfit is exactly what I would wear....perfect
It's great to hear! 😊 It's great when you find outfits that resonate with your style. ! ✨❤
Monochromatic is what lengthens the figure
Pls use the whole screen 💜
I love that she is wearing Birkenstock-style sandals. So many fashion bloggers are repelled by comfortable shoes. At 71 comfort is essential.
Absolutely! Comfort is key, especially as we get older. It’s great to see someone embracing stylish yet practical choices like Birkenstock-style sandals. Fashion should always be about feeling good in what you wear, no matter the trends! 👏👡💖
Birkenstock sandals can look VERY frumpy. It all depends how they are worn and by whom. Very dicey.
Dont give up be fashionable at any age
Absolutely! Fashion knows no age limits! 🌟 It's all about expressing yourself and feeling confident in what you wear. Let's celebrate our unique styles at every stage of life! 😊❤️
Wearing sensible shoes and a fitted bra together with your own unique style is so important for the older lady, no matter what size you are
Absolutely! Sensible shoes and a good fitted bra can make a world of difference in comfort and confidence. Pairing them with your unique style is a perfect recipe for looking and feeling great at any age. Well said! 👏👠✨

I do have a daughter who is 58 she looks at me and says 'oh mum really!'
It sounds like your daughter is noticing that you’re not afraid to embrace your style and individuality, which is something to be celebrated! Fashion is ageless, and your confidence to wear what you love is inspiring.
Title: she is 75 ..BUT...
This BUT IS 😅....!
Im 75 and there is no need for a BUT😅
😉👍
I am so stealing some of her looks-but the Birkenstocks? Nope. I draw the line there.
I'm so glad you like the look! 😄 But hey, Birkenstocks aren't for everyone - totally get it! Steal the style and make it your own! 👗✨
Nope, no pink at all, but I do feel strongly about green!
Great!Of course, everyone has their own color. Green is a great choice, it symbolizes nature and freshness!🙏
i like black
Woaded is the best for me.
That's great to hear! Wooded has some fantastic options! 🌟 😊✨
Glad to.see Birkies worn and yes they can look fashionable. I have pink patent Birks.
Absolutely! Birkies can be both comfy and stylish! 💖 Pink patent sounds fabulous! Do you have a favorite outfit you like to pair them with? 😊✨
❤

style is only for the wealthy. i've yet to find anything close to this that is available for us in middle to lower class. sorry.
I understand where you're coming from, and it can definitely feel that way sometimes. 🌼 Style can be about creativity and personal expression, not just high price tags. Thrift stores, upcycling, and mixing and matching can lead to some amazing looks without breaking the bank!? 😊✨
Yes and she’s probably 5’11 and more not 5’1 like us older shrinking ladies
Marshall’s and Target now have fun and fashionable clothing. Always try to have great sunglasses. I have lots all under $20 each. Have super cut and color for hair. Stand tall! Have fun!
Even if you shop at WALMART or else you can find pieces and STYLE them the way this lady does. Yes, I can’t afford cashmere or birkin loafers but can find similar pieces and walla I look good. Try it and don’t be so negative.

I dress very similar aim 72
That's amazing! Style knows no age-at 72, you're rocking it! 🎉💫 Keep shining with your fabulous fashion! 👗✨
She needs her hair professionally styled😊😊
Then she would be someone else. Her hair the way it is is her style.
Has this been produced via AI? Narrator sounds like a robot.
This comment section is an aligator pool. Why do women talk about other women like this?
Bey?
Ok. She is still 75, no matter what
So what ? Everybody will turn 75 someday. Make the best of it.
Every photo she wears sunglasses….perhaps that is the secret….hide the eyes…
Every ? Not one out of 10
I don't find any wow factor in her at all!
old fashioness???? lol good grief........im four feet eleven its not easy ....
I totally get it! Finding the right fit can be a challenge, especially at 4'11", but remember-confidence is key, and fashion is all about what makes *you* feel good! 😊👗 Keep rocking your unique style!
Socks with sandals? Never never ever
You can embrace your age with makeup and hair pieces - this is rubbish
Sorry, I couldn't find any inspiration in her outfits. Nothing special.
Her shoes and socks reek of grandma!!!
To be honest, and this is not a competition, but I look more fashionable and younger than this model at 80. Not my evaluation. Just saying.
You really need to get help. Do you realise how you come across?
Sorry, but that’s the truth too.
socks and sandals? I do not think it looks good on anyone, especially on such huge foot as hers
Socks and sandals can definitely be a divisive style choice! Some people see it as a bold, quirky trend, while others feel it doesn't quite work, especially depending on the proportions or how it's styled.style is so personal-what works for one might not work for another!
Why no SUMMER clothes? Easy to guess.
Excuse me? Good heavens.
Oh dear, not you again….
Don't be a Karen.
Why no SUMMER clothes? Hmmmm?
You ask twice?
Typo. Happens.
Google Linda Wright and you will find plenty of pictures of her in summer wear
The sandals is a no no for me. Really?
Yes, she looks good in them.
She is not you. For which I’m sure She’s grateful.
Not for me either because I have wide feet. But they look good on Linda Wright - the way she wears them - otherwise Birkenstock can look terribly frumpy, they are dicey
Meh....
