    I have been following you since the pandemic. Everything i have tried from the highlights to texture on your ends to this here wow thank you so much. I have alot of hair and its natural curly my hair gets heavy and hot and i just did my invisible layers and my hair feels so light an so full of volume. My next one is going to be trimming my ends. Just tried this on my very thick coarse hair, it feels so much lighter already! But happily without a change in shape it noticeable line where it suddenly gets thinner. Best of all it shifted the volume of my hair from the ends (which were very bulky even after point cutting) to the mid shaft and root sections. Great technique, I’ll definitely try it again! Thanks so much for making this video!

    Exactly what I was looking for! I also have a lot of fine hair and need texture! I do like a “choppy” or chunky ish look too, is that where a razor comes in? ❤

    • @TheAngeSchofield
      @TheAngeSchofield  Місяць тому

      I would say texture shears are a better option, razors can be damaging if not used correctly

    Would this be helpful to blend in areas where you have a lot of newer growth? My crown area is growing back after pulling out a good amount of hair about a year ago (stress had me literally pulling hair out) and those hairs haven't caught up with the rest of my hair that's at bra strap length. I really don't want to cut more than I have to since I'm growing out my hair anyways. I've got fine but dense hair though the hairs towards my crown are more wavy than the rest and coarser too

    • @TheAngeSchofield
      @TheAngeSchofield  10 місяців тому +1

      You can texturize just that section out! I wouldn’t do a bunch just try to match the density from the top to the bottom to help blend in the different length ❤️

    I love your hair color in this video. Is there a way to get this at home. I have similar hair and skin as you do. I have fine, but a lot of hair. This video is so fun, can't wait to try it. First I gotta get some length off , I will search for a video on that from you, ha. Just found you, thank you.

      Thank you so much 😊 the darker color is just my natural hair color but then I did do highlights on it. I ended up toning it with 9 BV from Paul Mitchell’s Demi line… I do have a bow highlight your hair at home and the technique is very similar!

    Are you totally closing the thinning shears when cutting the invisible layers?

    • @TheAngeSchofield
      @TheAngeSchofield  Рік тому +2

      Yes I am, as much as the section will allow. Im closing them when I feel resistance from the thickness of the twist I open and move down

    Does it matter which way you twist? Should you try to go with the way your naturally falls?

    • @TheAngeSchofield
      @TheAngeSchofield  11 місяців тому +1

      If you have curl or wave to your hair I would twist it in the same direction as your curl patter

    May be a silly question, but how often is it safe to do this?
    (I'm concerned about making my hair too thinned out.)

    • @TheAngeSchofield
      @TheAngeSchofield  2 місяці тому +1

      Honestly I would do it maybe every few haircuts… so if you get your hair done every 6 weeks do it every 18 weeks (little over 4 months)
