How to Clean and Condition BMW Merino Leather with Colourlock

I've had this Colourlock Smooth Leather Care Kit (to clean and condition leather that is 3 or older) for a while now so it was time to make a how to / review video. My car is about 6.5 years old and, to the best of my knowledge, the leather has never been treated so, this is long overdue.
I forgot to note this in the video, but you can double up the level of protection by adding the Leather Shield over the Leather Protector. Even though Leather Shield is for cars with newer leather, you can still add it on top of the Protector. I might do this after a future application.

Turned out great and for the scratched leather areas near the door handle, colourlock sells a dye/repair kit as well thats perfect matched to the bmw black leather and it will look new again. Same with the side bolsters.

Thanks brother, and thanks for the heads up! I saw the steering wheel repair kit but not the leather dye.. that looks like the perfect solution for that section by the handle - it's driven me nuts since I got the car. Blew my mind that there are 278 leather color options for BMW.

@@jgo.m3 haha yeah there's a ton! I have the same marks it's from people's nails hitting that area when grabbing the door handle. If you do end up getting the kit, definitely make a video on it!

Lower the pH, higher the acidity. 5 is mildly acidic. 7 is neutral. Anything above 7 is alkaline or basic and alkalinity increases with the pH

Hey man love your videos very informative and entertaining Also wanted to ask if you're gonna get catless downpipes for the M3? Would like to hear how it sound with the VD exhaust. Really good quality to you videos too, I have small channel as well. Just out wanted to ask, what camera are you using?

Thanks so much brother, appreciate you checking them out! For downpipes I'm going to go high flow catted; probably ARM or Evolution Racewerks. I think catless might reintroduce some rasp into the system and I wouldn't want to be full straight piped due to volume (the Valvetronic exhaust doesn't have cats or resonators). As for cameras, I think this video was my first one using my Canon R6 MKII.. everything before this was shot with a Canon M50 MKII. Definitely will check out your channel!
