Videos on detailing (products, techniques and reviews), car modifications and maintenance.
In December of 2020 I got one of my all-time dream cars: an M3 (specifically an F80). Shortly after, in early 2022, I started making videos on journaling the ownership experience from the perspective of a first time DIYer by learning how to do my own modifications, maintenance and detailing (the latter of which has really taken off in terms of interest and rabbit holes).
In summer 2024 I started Always Summer Garage (changing the name of the channel from jgo M3), which represents the vibe of what I love most about car culture: hanging out in the garage getting stuff done. Stay tuned.. lots more to come.

After Almost 30 Years of Obsessing, I Got My Dream Car
Переглядів 1,4 тис.14 днів тому
Quick video to introduce the newest member of the family. It sounds weird to say "I got my dream car" and I tried to figure out other ways to incorporate the new car in a different kind of video but I figure why not just do it this way.. like everything else, talk it out in the garage (or driveway in this case). Also, I got so wrapped up in talking about the cars at Chicago Motor Cars I forgot ...

Testing out a brand new line of premium car care products: CLEAN By Pan The Organizer. I've been a fan of @PanTheOrganizer 's channel for years, so when he announced he was coming out with his own line of products I had to give them a try. There's more than what's being tested here (and I'll be picking up the rest of the line) but I think these 3 products, shampoo; tire dressing and ceramic spr...

Non-Slick Rubber Floor Mat Dressing Test: Koch-Chemie Gummifix Review

Looking for a non-slick rubber floor mat dressing? Yeah, me too. A viewer recommended I try Koch-Chemie Gummifix so I picked up a bottle and am trying it out to see if it really is the best all weather/rubber floor mat dressing (not that anyone has made that claim.. I don't think). I'm also testing which method is better for applying Gummifix: a brush or foam applicator (there’s other ways to a...

PF22 Foam Cannon Upgrade (Seal Rings, Orifice, Wide Mouth Conversion)
Переглядів 3253 місяці тому
Time to fix up my wheels foam cannon. It's been clogged and out of commission for a while now so, in addition to cleaning it out, I’m doing a complete tear down to replace the seal rings and filter (rebuild kit); upgrade the orifice to a 1.5mm so it doesn’t pull too many amps from the Active 2.3 and convert to the wide mouth bottles (which are so much better). I also got some foam cannon mounts...
5 Essential Detailing Products I Use For EVERY Maintenance Wash

As we are getting the F80s ready for MPACT this weekend, I thought it would be a good time to talk about some exterior detailing products I absolutely always have to have on hand for a maintenance wash (and some for decontamination washes). Hardwiring My Valvetronic Valve Controller (Fuse Tap & HomeLink)
Переглядів 3373 місяці тому
The valve controller is a keeper so time to hardwire it into the car. This was my first time installing a fuse tap and the process was insanely easy; if you can strip a wire, you can tap a fuse. Programming Homelink was a little tricky as the key fob needs to be practically touching behind the rearview mirror for the signal to be picked up and then a few pros and cons to having the valve contro...
How To Install a Valvetronic Designs Electronic Valve Controller
Переглядів 1,4 тис.3 місяці тому
Well it's been a ride, but I think I finally got a handle on the exhaust valve rattle issue I was having with my Valvetronic Designs exhaust. Long story short, either the fixing bow or the actuator (or both) were causing some valve rattling during cold start and closed valve revs. After installing this valve controller (because it came with a new actuator and some new fixing bows) I think we're...

LOUD NOISES! Installing ARM Catted Downpipes On My F80 M3 (Plus Sound)
Hi. I have A F32 4 series i just buy f82 bumper and i coded fog lights off because i dont want to some warnings but now i replace my original bumper with fog lights but cant reactive my fog with bimmercode. Can someone know this?
Maybe someone else has a better answer, but you should be able to revert to a backup before you coded last.
@ can i find backup from like 1-2 month ago? Thank you for answer btw ❤️
@@wishm4907 if you have the backup, it will be in your app. Connect to your car and check the backups menu.
You are a lucky man to have that beautiful high end pressure washer set up. More and more detailers and enthusiasts are installing these type systems in their own garages since Matt Moreman made them popular with his Obsessed Garage. Before Matt showed his set up on UA-cam, hardly any detailers had these types of set ups. Even professional detailers didn't have these set ups and just used a free standing Kranzle's, and other high end gas pressure washers as their "high end" set up back in the day before Matt and the Obsessed Garage line came to UA-cam and the internet with his new store. I have been watching Matt Moreman since he first started his UA-cam channel and I am obsessive myself with my vehicles and detailing. It's a hobby for me and I just enjoy keeping my sports car "dialed in" as Matt would say. Once Matt designed these various systems and started offering them for sale, a LOT more detailers, both pro and enthusiasts started installing these systems in their garages and they are the new "must have" item for pro's and enthusiasts alike. I am working on my own pressure washer set up, but it won't be nearly as sweet as what you have here. I just want to get the COMET unit that Matt Moreman sells. All in one type unit with included hose reel and equipment. I am just going with the basic COMET, nothing fancy. The included 75 foot hose is all I need and the fact it comes with the included hose and the hose reel works for me personally. I already have a good stubby gun so I don't need that. The only other thing I am going to get (although not from Obsessed Garage) is some type of deionizer for the water. I might go with a cheaper two tank DI water system that KEAV over at Cars with Keav UA-cam channel (a great channel for detailing and pressure washer stuff) sourced off of Amazon for like $120 total. It looks identical to the CR Spotless but it's a copy. He gave it good reviews. Cars with Keav looks for alternate (but good quality) pressure washers and pressure washer set ups that provide a similar level of performance as the high end systems like you have, but for the budget minded detailer. So I will probably be at $1,000 all in which is perfect for me. I am only an enthusiast now but I did detailing as a side job 30 years ago. I just liked the clean look of the Comet. If I could afford the high end unit like you have, I would probably get it. The wife would balk at the price though. She already balks at everything I buy for my car. She says I love my car more than her and "It's your second wife!". LOL. She's still supportive. I just hit her yesterday with the fact I need new tires. Not bad for ten years though on my 370Z. It's 10 years old and just clicked over the 20,000 mile mark. It's pretty much a weekend or good weather toy. I live in Colorado so you have to plan your drive days. I had an absolutely terrifying experience last year when we went out for a drive and wound up at the top of a mountain at 9,000 foot elevation and it was going up even further. The road was a seriously steep and winding road that turned into snow and ice covered and about a mile up, the car couldn't go any further at all and started sliding back down the road. I had to back that thing down the ice at about 1 mile an hour and it took 45 minutes to get the car back down to a level where it would grip. I never made that mistake again. I had just moved here from Kentucky and didn't realize how fast road conditions can change here. About a month ago, same thing. Perfectly nice day out for a drive. On our way home from a 300 mile trip at the end of the day as the sun was going down, we got hit with a massive HAIL STORM! It hails here all the time. There was hail coming down at an alarming rate (BAD!) and the darn ice balls were the size of golf balls! No joke. I was trying to find a place to pull into with an awning, but so was every other car on the highway. It kept getting worse and worse and my wife looked at me terrified (because she knows how I treat my vehicles) and her eyes were wide as saucers. It literally sounded like 100 ball peen hammers were hitting all over my car at the same time. I was cursing and cringing all at the same time. It was hitting the car so hard your body literally jerked every time a golf ball sized hail ball hit the car. I told her it was too late to do anything now and that we had to get off the highway as soon as we could so I kept going to the next exit. I finally found a car wash to pull into at least part way out of the hail but it was coming down like the heavens had opened up. Every space you could find in the gas stations, and anywhere else with an awning was packed with other cars trying to do the same thing. In the car wash with me were Porsches, new Corvette's, BMW's, Mercedes, and other sporty cars. You could tell we were all thinking the same thing. There wasn't a space left in that car wash for another car. We had a little impromptu cars and coffee event until the hail storm was over! Then, 45 minutes later, it was gone. Freak hail storms happen all the time here because of the mountain climate. Hail damage repair shops here are always busy! Another lesson learned and hopefully I won't make that mistake again, but that hail storm was a storm no one could have predicted because it was otherwise a clear day. Surprisingly I had no damage on my 370Z other than very tiny "ping" marks in a few spots that really aren't too noticeable to the naked eye so I was lucky. I have to get the front resprayed anyway so it will be fixed at some point. Back to the tires, I had to hit her with "I need to spend $1350 on new tires! She actually didn't say too much because she knew it could have been worse. The stock tires that came with the car are $2,600 to replace. The guy at the tire dealer got me a good deal on all season Continental tires that he said would work perfectly in Colorado and they were half the cost. He is a big Z guy who has several Z's himself including a 240Z and also a Nissan GTR. He knew exactly what tires to use here for sorta the best of both worlds (Winter and Summer) and got me a good deal. He said they were the tires he uses on his own stuff and they are better than the stock type tires that are rated for summer use only, at least here in Colorado. Which is probably why I was having all the issues a year ago on that steep mountain road, although that was a weird situation because the road was a very lightly travelled road that was far steeper than most roads here. I try not to go up to the really high elevations in the winter time with my Z. Now I leave that for our 4-wheel drives. It has been lessons learned on navigating the mountain roads here, many of which are dirt instead of asphalt, primarily because you can get more traction on the dirt road than you can on the asphalt roads covered in two or three feet of snow. We just got two feet of snow here a couple of weeks ago! Loving your channel and content my friend.
That sounds terrifying.. glad you made it down lol. I've unexpected had to drive in snow with my M3 a few times and it can be done but I don't love it.
@@AlwaysSummerGarage Yes sir. The Z can get you into trouble quick. Many owners who have had them have exceeded the cars abilities which caused a devasting crash. The backend will dart out from you much faster than a lot of automobiles. It's a small car with that capable V6 and it has a lot of power even on the stock engine at 350 hp. It doesn't sound like a lot, but in that little Z, it's more than enough to get you into big trouble, FAST! It's why it's such a loved car for drifting. I drive it lightly and even I have had some instances where the rear end will come around on you so fast. Still one of the best cars to come out of Japan and I have had quite a few Japanese cars. I still enjoy it a lot, even though I am getting older. It's definitely not a car you want to hand over to a new driver. NO WAY. It's an automobile that should be handled by an experienced driver. Or at the very least, if anyone is thinking about getting one, attend one of the track driving schools or classes around the Country like Bondurant or one of the others. I'm sure your M3 is the same way.
@@joevanseeters2873 oh absolutely. The F80, even by today's standards, is a monster. I'm the same way though, all things considered I drive rather conservatively.
@@AlwaysSummerGarage Yeah, me too. I was a traffic cop for 31 years so I now drive like a Grandpa! LOL Fortunately we have high speed limits here in Colorado so I still get to enjoy going high speed with my 370Z and not get into trouble. I still love driving though and love sports cars. I am a gear head through and through so I will always have a fondness for cars of ALL types and eras.
Not sure if you mentioned it, but if you want to bridge two wall studs for mounting heavy objects, you can also use Unistrut. It's steel and quite strong. Paint it your color of choice (or not) and you're good to go.
I didn't, but good to know.. thanks!
Stunning car my friend. You are so lucky to have one of those Supra's! Incredible. One of my all time favorite cars. I have been lusting after the new Supra for quite some time. I have a red 370Z at the moment in like new condition. She's 10 years old, but still smells and looks brand new other than a few paint blemishes. You are lucky to have found one in original condition like that. I personally want the new bright yellow Supra, but unfortunately they discontinued that color. My other ALL TIME DREAM CAR is the Nissan GTR in either Bayside blue or the new TSPEC in Midnight Purple although those are pretty much unattainable. Enjoy your Supra. I'll be following your channel to see the upcoming videos on your Supra.
Love the 370Z! And yeah man, the GTR is 2nd on my list of dream cars after the Supra. M-Spec Nür in Millennium Jade. Appreciate the follow brother! 🍻
I have been wanting to try Pan's line since he released his products. Especially his spray ceramic sealant. It is supposedly one of the best new sealants on the market today with insane hydrophobics, ease of use, and you can use it three different ways. I just watched a video today on his spray sealant and he said that for well maintained vehicles, you can get up to ONE YEAR of durability which is incredible for a spray sealant. I laughed when you said I have "50 different products for 4 different things". That made me laugh because I am the exact same way. I have way too many detailing products. WAY TOO MANY. I have been contemplating trying to narrow down my products to the main things that I use often and work well. It's hard, because I love trying new products. I just bought a bunch of new stuff I have been wanting to try from Carzilla up in Canada. It's an incredible web store with vast amounts of detailing products. What Autogeek used to be in America (the go to detailing place years ago) Carzilla is to Canada. They have the best prices and they ship to the USA. Very good place to order detailing products from. Fast shipping too. I heard you talking about wheel cleaners. Just be careful with wheel cleaners that are super high (Alkaline) or super low (Acidic) wheel cleaners. They strip off any protection you may have on your wheels whether a wax, sealant, or coating. They can even strip ceramic coatings off of rims if you use them enough or they have a high enough or low enough PH level. For example, people use Super Clean or something like Adams Wheel & Tire cleaner on their rims not realizing these products are something like 13.5 to 14 on the PH scale. VERY VERY Caustic. They will most likely strip waxes and sealants off the rims. I use a PH neutral cleaner for wheels that doesn't affect waxes or sealants. Either Chemical Guys Diablo wheel concentrate or Griot's Garage Original ph neutral wheel cleaner (the blue one). Both work great on well maintained vehicles which you definitely maintain your vehicle so they would work pretty good for you. Of course, the way you maintain your vehicle, a soap would probably work in most circumstances on your rims. That gray BMW is really nice. I love that wheel design. One of the best BMW wheel designs in my opinion. You are lucky to get to drive those BMW's on a regular basis.
Moreman has created an incredible business with his Obsessed Garage. I am also a fan of his UA-cam channel. This is my DREAM SET UP! Absolutely awesome set up. You are a lucky man to have that system. I am currently waiting for my own set up to come together, although I am probably going to get a COMET unit from Obsessed Garage. I just wanted simplicity and I really liked the way the COMET looks on the wall. Simple, easy to use, and clean looking on the wall. Although this system you have here is on the next level! My son in law is an engineer and he's going to help me with my pressure washer set up on the wall. He's a genius when it comes to engineering stuff like this. I am jealous buddy. The ultimate upgrade for vehicle washing! That garage washer set up you have is better than a commercial coin operated car wash. Where I live in Colorado it has the hardest water I have ever used in my entire life. We had hard water in Maryland, harder water in Kentucky, and the hardest water I have ever seen in Colorado. And it's super dry up here in the upper atmosphere so water dries super fast on the car. SUPER FAST. Literally within a minute, it's dry and then you have streaking all over the vehicle from hard water stains. A Deionized water set up is a must here, although I don't have one yet. I do a lot of rinseless washes and that helps because the rinseless solution softens the water quite a bit. It's a nightmare when you have to do a bucket wash here without deionized water. I think it's all the minerals in the water here which comes down off the mountain which is pretty much the source of water we have here. It doesn't rain all that much here in the summer but it freakin' snows like hell in the winter time. Then the water drains off eventually after leaching through the vast Mountains we have here over something like 10,000 years so it has a super high mineral content. The TDS readings are off the charts. I am enjoying your channel sir. You do a nice job explaining all your equipment and also the processes you use in detailing.
Yep I'm a huge OG fan as well.. learned a LOT from his videos. Good luck with the pressure washer build! It's a project but absolutely worth doing imo. Glad to hear you're enjoying the content brother.. much appreciated 🍻
Motorplast from Koch Chemie is a really good engine bay dressing that also has conditioning agents for all your rubber hoses inside your engine bay giving everything inside the engine a protectant. I love that stuff and have been using it for two years. It is one of the very best engine bay dressings I have ever used, and I have used a bunch over the years. I started detailing in 1982 and have used thousands of different detailing products. Motorplast is legit stuff. I know you have used other Koch products, so you might want to grab a bottle of that stuff on your next order. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how good it is. Leaves a light sheen (nothing crazy) factory fresh, brand new look to the engine bay. And the best part is you can just spray and walk away. It settles in perfectly as it dries. You can wipe if you want, but you really don't need to. My drying aides change so often. I am using Technicians choice original (yellow) Ceramic Detail Spray as my drying aide at the moment. Previously I was using Polishangel Viking Spritz which was one of the best drying aid/toppers I have ever used but it's super expensive. Have also used other Polishangel sprays in the past as my drying aid. Those Polishangel products are the best detailing products on the planet, but they are so expensive, most people would never buy them. But they are worth every gosh darn penny, I promise you. One that jus came out that I want to purchase is Pan The Organizers new Spray Sealant. From what I have seen on reviews, it is super easy to use and has crazy hydrophobics and durability on par with a ceramic coating but can be used as a drying aid topping off your protection every time, and can also be used as a spray and rinse with similar effect so on your rims, and also as a stand alone sealant with extreme durability, gloss, and slickness.
That M3 you have is beautiful in that incredible blue color. The best BMW color of all time in my opinion. You are a lucky man to have that nice pressure washer set up on the wall like that! I still need to get water plumbed out to my garage but hopefully my son in law is going to help me do that soon so I can get one of those incredible pressure washer set ups with the deionized water. I live in Colorado so I need that set up inside my garage because during the winter, washing outside is pretty much impossible as the hose bibs are frozen over for much of the winter. I was thinking of going with the COMET unit that Obsessed Garage sells. I like the style of that unit and it's simplicity, yet being Italian made should give years of good service. Plus it comes with the hose reel and a decent hose included. I just like the clean look it has on the wall. Although that Active unit you have looks pretty sweet too! That second BMW in the beautiful slate gray is also a really nice car. My second favorite color on an automobile. You really have some nice cars in your videos! I saw the Delaware tags, I used to live in Maryland for 35 years not too far from you. If you want to try a really good quick cleaner for those times you just want to spruce up your interior, give Soft 99 WASH MIST+ a try. It's an all surface cleaner (including glass) for the interior and it's perfect for these, what I call, quick clean days on the interior. Those times you just want to wipe everything down quickly, vacuum, and you are done. Soft 99 Wash Mist+ is about $18 to $20 for a small bottle but it just works so well as a quick cleaner, I am willing to pay it. It has a very light fresh scent to it which I love. One of the best scents for a quick cleaner and I have used a bunch of them. It's not going to deep clean your interior and that's not it's purpose, it's designed with a smaller bottle so that you can keep it in your cabin if you wanted to all the time and have it available as a quick cleaner on the go. I don't keep it inside, but I do use it often as a quick cleaner for the interior and it is perfect for that purpose. Also works on NAV screens, fabrics, EVERYTHING. Absolutely no residue left over and it has antibacterial function on the surfaces too! It's a good one. The product you are using looked like it foamed up great! I might have to try that one at some point in the future. Koch Chemie has really been knocking it out of th epark lately with their incredible products and great value for money. And they keep offering brilliant solutions to car detailing. They are one of the best new brands to hit the US market over the past 25 years! I still use a few Chemical Guys' products. One I really love is the Diablo wheel cleaner. It's a PH neutral wheel cleaner with a cherry scent and it cleans well but doesn't strip off your protection from your rims. I use Soft 99 Fusso Coat as a base layer on my rims followed by a coat of Turtle Wax Seal & Shine as a topper. Both have extreme durability and resist brake dust and road grime. Although I am changing over to Vonixx SINERGY Spray Wheel Coating, which is a high heat resistant wheel sealant that is super easy to use (spray & wipe, DONE!) It has insane hydrophobics too! One of the best wheel sealants to hit the market in the past ten years. Another Chemical Guys product I use is their soaps. V06, now G6 Hypercoat dressing is a good water based dressing from them. They also have some good accessories actually and I buy them from time to time. Their dirt trap for bucket washing is one of the best to keep dirt under the trap due to its conical designed holes at the bottom. One of the best ones and the cheapest too! VRP has been in my arsenal for many years. For the mats, you should try Koch Chemie GUMMIFIX. It's a mat dressing that will darken the mats back to new look, but has no slip at all and is designed for rubber mats. Another top product from Koch Chemie. Looks like you did a nice job on that refresh. Again, your BMW is SWEET!
Thank you brother.. appreciate the kind words 🍻 I like the Comet from what I saw in Matt's video but yeah if you have hard water the DI setup is a lifesaver. Even if you get the wheeled version and just run connecting hoses or get a different solution. Makes all the difference. As for the Gumifix, I tried that but didn't have good results. Looked great on the mats but it was slippery for me. Lots of people said they didn't have that issue but I think it might have to do with which mats you have. People with Weather Tech, for example, never have slip issues.
I have been using POL STAR since it's introduction. It's my go to interior detailing product. VERY GOOD PRODUCT! Leaves all surfaces (except glass) on the interior clean and looking fresh. I have never used TOP STAR and LEATHER STAR but I really want to try both of those as well. POL STAR is one of the best interior cleaning products introduced into the US market in a LONG TIME! I have been detailing for 45+ years and it's one of the best! It just cleans so well and has a decent light scent to it and it just works so well on everything. I have used it with a microfiber towel, one of those ninja scrubber, and also with a brush. It works well with everything.
Yeah I was really happy with it. Definitely going to be my go-to for mild interior cleaning.
Hi, great video! Appreciate the feedback. Quick question, how would you maintain alcantara type of interior. It’s enough just to use PO and that’s it? Thanks!
Thanks! For alcantara I tried Sonax's alcantara cleaner and loved it. I'd bet PO is fine but this stuff is awesome: ua-cam.com/video/N-RfDKHHtcg/v-deo.html
@@AlwaysSummerGarage big love, thanks!
Obsessed Garage = the absolute place I’ve ever ordered from in my 25+ yrs of detailing. Just saying. For many reasons.
sorry, didn't follow the sentiment here.. absolute what?
@ worst‼️‼️ Yes, i missed putting that in my comment.
@@JonathanBurling really? That's unfortunate.. curious to know why. I've ordered tons of product from them and I love that they always tape up the cap and the shipping boxes are double thick.
I'm not a guy but hello lol. 0:34 One of my dream cars other than the RX7 FD :) Dope to see vipers.

did it shift better afterwards? btw thanks for the video, i think this is the only one with the manual gearbox.
Awesome, hope you found it helpful! There was probably some improvement - like a little smoother - but I don't remember it being substantially noticeable.
I have a 2015 F80 6MT base. I’m thinking of getting a bm3 license to control the burbles with my switchpath exhaust (has 0 burbles now), rev match mode control, and to flash the very mild CS tune on the car’s engine/transmission. Thoughts? I also was thinking to flash stage 1 but i’m on stock crankhub and I know these cars will make closer to 500whp on stage 1 so figured I should hold off until I do the pinned ch.
Even if I hadn't flashed to a stage 1 tune, the config settings would have 100% justified the price of the license in my opinion. As for engine tunes, I did stage 1 without the crankhub fix (which may not be advisable, but I generally drive pretty reasonably) and man, I was out today on some backroads and it just makes the car SO much more fun. It does make me want to do the ch though just in case.
My unexplainable car love is for the Porshce brand. Still dreaming of a 911, but those prices just don't come down! My first Porsche was a 1993 968 Cabriolet. I always enjoyed the comparison articles that put it up against the Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4, Nissan 300ZX Turbo, and the Toyota Supra Turbo. You couldn't go wrong with any of them. It's hard to deny that the Toyota Supra Turbo has greater mass appeal and is still recognized as something special today. What a beautiful piece of automotive history you now own!
Automotive history.. that's kinda cool; I hadn't considered that 🍻 But yeah it's hard not to be in awe of some of Porche's designs. I'm partial to the late 80s through mid 90s mostly but there's a lot of history to love there.
that’s awesome man congrats!
Thanks brother! 🍻
I recently contact Active support about the hose issue as I wanted to buy a hose reel kit with a Kobrajet hose. They did not say anything about the Kobrajet in the response. They did say not to use a Uberflex/Flexilla hose to prevent delayed ramp up and surge. The also recommend using a steel braided hose and if you are buying from Amazon the recommended hoses from Yamatic, Coyrardor and Pohir as examples. They are also selling their own product which will be coming out in the next week or two.
Good info, thanks for sharing brother. Worth noting I've had mine for about 6 months now and have had no issues with the Kobrajet hose.
@ Good to know. I ordered the 75’ Kobrajet with the hose reel kit.
@@jlnoell Nice.. same one I have. Works great 👍
We missed the brap overrun settings :D
Chicago motorcars FTW
Yes! Insane inventory over there. Also had an R32 and R33 being prepped to go up for sale 😍
Super clean man, congrats!
Thanks brother! Never thought I'd be into having a white car but definitely looks clean 👍
Congratulations brother!
Thank you! Much appreciate bro 🍻
If I wanted to press buttons, I’d play a video game
eh, can't say I entirely disagree
Holy hell you got the JDM god! MK4 Sheeesh! Congratz!
Thank you! 🙏
Well done.
Much appreciated brother 🍻
Maybe I missed it, but got a name for it?
Not yet; my kid has an MK3 and claimed "soop" so I'm still searching lol. Open to suggestions!
@@AlwaysSummerGarage Maybe pull from something from your Japanese research. After a quick search, I ran across Taiki (TIE-kee) - meaning great, radiance, shine. For a more car specific name... how about the Japanese word / pronunciation for Turbo - Tabo (TA-bo)?
@@AMI_Detail That's awesome.. I like the direction you're going! Also just subbed to your channel.. looking forward to that Chevelle follow up 🇺🇸💪

Glad it helped brother 🍻
Can you use dcan cable to code this?
I don't see why not, but I'd double check the requirements on their site.
I've got the same problem with my F30 335i with aftermarket exhaust (controlled from pilot).. Sounds the same and I hear strange sound when flap is closed and I'm pressing the gas, like wind.. But my actuator looks the same, so meybe is too big or touches metal? When I have the flap closed all the way, I can see some fuel leaking out of the closed flap, maybe it doesn't close 100%, only about 99%, but I can't notice it?
Sounds like you might need to do the actuator reset. I tried it manually, but I'm going to try it with ISTA and see if that does a better job.
Would you be able to do this with just usb?
I think some/later versions of iDrive allow you to load the software via usb but you'd have to check the site.
Great tutorial! Going to save this one in the vault for future reference!! Thank you!!
Awesome, glad you found it helpful 👍
The factory orifice that comes with the Active 2.3 has an o-ring on it. Did you install the o-ring or use the orifice without?
I didn't see an o-ring with the orifice they provided or anywhere to put one as it just screws into the assembly. I could have missed it though.. do you have a pic of it or how it attaches?
My stock system's valves sounded perfect prior to downpipes, now every time I start the car it sounds broken. You getting zero rattle on cold start is perfect to me, When my new system arrives I'm most definitely going to be following these tips. Thanks!
Real savings at 65.00 a gallon no thanks I can find cheaper
Koch chemie all surface cleaner seems very similar to top star, wonder what the difference is. I use pol star and the leather one. Definitely my go to's
Fact check me on this but ASC seems like something you'd use for a light freshening up of the interior whereas top star seems more like a finisher/topper (plus it has uv protection and I'd guess it lasts awhile)
@AlwaysSummerGarage sounds about right, I like how ASC brings back that factory matte sheen. Turns out I do have top star also. Hardly ever use it
@@RamisDad Yeah I think both do well for their purpose.. I was really happy with the top star but I'm going to try out some 303 next and see how that compares.
The tubes are too small anyway any video of it running?
Is bummer code app for free or i have to buy so i can do coding on my car ? Thanks.
@@mohammedyawr6484 pretty sure there’s a one time cost.
Oh man, your choice to paint the floor… I have similar ugly concrete and 12 boxes of tiles to install when my garage renovation is done. What a great idea - I’m going to do that too. My concrete is a bit worse than yours with some pitting from road salt over the years, but if I can make it look more uniform under the tiles using that paint, then I’m good with that. Thanks!
100% worth it brother.. even if you have some imperfections, you won't notice under the tile after painting. Good luck with the renovation! Wish I'd done this years ago. 👍
I forget if I tried LS or TS but I remember one of them smelled like mint! PO is great though! KCX was WAYY cheaper when I was stationed in Germany
Yeah man, I was really happy with the whole set. Where were you stationed in Germany?
@ VERY small town😂 literally still to this day just know it as Vilseck/Rose barracks. Hours away k town and Munich
@@Madcarcareproducts nice.. curious cause my dad was born in Hann. Münden which I think is about 4 hours away. Always wanted to visit that area since it seems more small town-ish.
Good video mate. Im looking for a decent leather treatment and might give KC LS a go. I tried P&S leather treatment a go and it seems quite good
Thanks brother.. yeah I wanna try the P&S leather treatment next. But definitely Leather Star is awesome and I was also really happy with Colourlock's kit 👍
I love PO and xpress! Ls and ps are good but I prefer 303! Can’t go wrong with all of these though great and easy products to use!
Man I definitely gotta get this 303 stuff 👍
Its funny you mention anout 303. Ive seen comments online saying the older version innthe different colour bottle was much better and they dont like the newer stuff. I never used the older one but cant see any problem with the current 303.
Aren’t we able to buy these lights directly instead of from middle man (og)?
