Thin Crust Pizza

Don’t you just love to bite a slice of pizza with a crispy crust? This recipe is so easy to make and your end product will look like it came from a pizzeria. You can always bake the crust ahead and store them in the freezer for up to a month or use them right away and top with your favorite pizza toppings. This recipe yields three 12-inch pizza crusts or four 9-inch mini pizzas.
INGREDIENTS
Pizza Crust:
1 cup (240 ml) warm water
1 tablespoon instant dry yeast
½ teaspoon + ⅛ cup granulated sugar
⅛ cup (30 ml) olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
2½ cups (313 grams) all-purpose oil
extra all-purpose flour for kneading
extra olive oil for greasing
Pizza Sauce:
⅔ cup (150 grams) tomato paste
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
¼ teaspoon basil
¼ teaspoon oregano
2 tablespoons olive oil
Toppings (may use different toppings as desired):
mozzarella cheese
green bell pepper
white onion
tomatoes
mushrooms
spinach
fresh basil leaves
parmesan cheese
Italian seasoning
red pepper flakes
Hungarian sausage
ham
olive oil
