Pork Humba

Pork Humba is a very simple, must-try Filipino dish. It is sweet, flavorful and so tender.
INGREDIENTS
1 kilogram (2.2 lbs) pork belly, cut into 1-inch thick
8 cloves garlic, peeled
½ piece medium onion, peeled
1 teaspoon crushed black pepper
3 pieces bay leaves
⅓ cup (67 grams) brown sugar
1 tablespoon white vinegar
⅓ cup soy sauce
2 cups Sprite
2 cups water
1 tablespoon black beans, rinsed
6 small hard-boiled eggs (optional)
