Holy crap. It looks GORGEOUS. It's crazy how it looks exactly like the real one. Companies like fanatec and heusinkveld should hire you for design and modeling. You're crazy skilled.
I start to design my own f1 wheel based on a mercedes one (to fit with my 3d printer) after watching a lot of your video. Each time i see a new one, i get a new idea and how i can make it. Your work is a great source of inspiration.
Love your stuff man. Of course most of us don't have a 3d printer so would love to see more amazing inventions of yours that don't need one. Keep up the good work
You can get the Ender 3 3d printer for £156 I think I paid and wow what a machine for the money. Prints are almost perfect for what i wanted to print ( I'm about to make all the Rims he has made, I will order the blue prints more as support than need as he does a lot for the moding community in Sim Racing and his prices are more than acceptable) Already made the paddle shifters for my Motamec Rim and they work amazingly well. The great thing is once you make one of his wheels or shifters you have a lot of the parts left over like magnets and buttons and switches so it's not like you have to buy everything over and over again, only some of the things are needed in singles but most parts are purchased as bulk so it's great he tries to use the same fixings and parts where possible, makes it's a great deal easier for someone on a tight budget.
I'm really surprised of your creativity! Great job! I'm thinking about this kind of wheel to ACC, that would be perfect for GT3 cars. Maybe I will try to reproduce your project 👍
Good morning, I bought your project some time ago and I would like to know if you can provide me with the CNC part so I can print it in STL format (3D)
Love the design but am confused on how all the wheels work/ plug into the ps4 for whatever. I get the physical connecting by changing the adapter on the back but how do u program or so the bottoms work and stuff, also where does the usb cable plug in from the wheel? Keep up the work and would love a custom Porsche themed wheel build.
@@Артём-ф5б1к yes. These USB joysticks only support push buttons. Rotary encoders are quite a big complication that require more advanced boards like Leo Bodnar.

Hello! Beautiful object. I wanted a clarification about the connection of the usb joystick encoder to the pc, that is I mean you connected it directly to the computer with the usb cable or you made some strange connection inside the steering wheel. Summary: You have connected both the base of the steering wheel and the steering wheel with the usb at the same time.
One question, will my 3d printer with 180 mm x 180 mm bed be able to print the lower case? Great job!! I already build analog handbrake and button box according to your tutorials!
Is it possible for you to build a steeringwheel with a screen inside it? You could use an old phone and the app Sim Dashboard. So the wheel could be very versatile, because Sim Dashboard allows for custom templates.
On this one, I guess you could remove the logo and make a phone holder where you can place a phone inside with maybe something like a gyro to keep the holder from moving with the action of the wheel (from force feedback or axis movement). possibly could be done but i don't have such knowledge to know if it is doable.
@@TheMediocreBrit well there are certain designs that could be copied. For example the Williams F1 car has a screen just behind the steering wheel. Could also be an option.
I am in the process of doing this now. Hoping to adapt my setup to this wheel. USB recharge lipo battery, nrf24 module on an arduino or bluepill sending to nrf enabled equivalent that acts like joystick. many possibilities!
I have been thinking doing this as a way to learn how to make a wheel. I'm just trying to figure out what would need changed. For it to work on the Fanatec podium hub. That can have the paddle shifters mounted separately from the main wheel.
