After a person died, the heart was weighed against the feather of Maat (goddess of truth and justice) The scales were watched by Anubis (the jackal-headed god of embalming) and the results recorded by Thoth (the ibis-headed god of writing). If a person had led a decent life, the heart balanced with the feather and the person was rendered worthy to live forever in paradise with Osiris.
Also as you could tell he was disappointed when he realized that he had areived there before his time and that although his heart was light, it still had to endure the sands of time that weight on a heart. Very well portrayed here.

I was so fortunate to see BOO in 2009 during the Discovery tour cycle. Jason was still in the band. David Darocha was my favorite member. The way he played bass was intense and infectious as hell! 🤘🏻
Nice to hear BOO do something where they dont use phrygian dominant mode (egyptian sound) and stay melodic in the minor scale for a whole song. Its got that pop metalcore sound and structure without going full sellout. I like to see bands show another angle. Nice job. The synth in the post chorus and ending is well executed too.

I was so fortunate to see BOO in 2009 during the Discovery tour cycle. Jason was still in the band. David Darocha was my favorite member. The way he played bass was intense and infectious as hell! 🤘🏻

Nice to hear BOO do something where they dont use phrygian dominant mode (egyptian sound) and stay melodic in the minor scale for a whole song. Its got that pop metalcore sound and structure without going full sellout. I like to see bands show another angle. Nice job. The synth in the post chorus and ending is well executed too.
