Jeff Dunne mixed it i believe. He also mixed Look At Yourself by Emmure, Motionless in White last album, Make Them Suffer last album, Ice Nine Kills last album, Annalynn last album ... He really made his way the last couple of years and his drum sound quality is very enjoyable
When I listen to music, I often think "I wish that chorus did this, or I wish that hook did that", but with Born of Osiris, I think those things alot less. Great band.
Dude I agree it’s like they compliment one another so well they have almost perfection found…..with its structure it’s sound …….and the robot drummer who uses triplets so much that they sound like 9 let’s.
To think... in 2007 most of us were amazed by the first album, and those were the drummers songs back when he was 14ish years old... how far they’ve come since then, and every single thing they release is absolutely incredible.
Literally watched this band come up in the local scene in Chicago, and it's so impressive to see how their music has matured over the years. Absolutely loved this banger of a song!

Check out Epiphany by Cameron Losch (their drummer). He's written a bunch of dreamy melodic synth stuff. I'm sure he wrote a bunch of it for this album too.

I love how this band changes tempo in the middle or end of the song and it just works, from brutal in your face screaming death metal to that nice easygoing outro beat
for the billionth time its not a tempo change. its a dynamics change. piano (the music term for quiet) is not the same thing as ritardando (the music term for slowing down.)
I remember seeing you guys live at Warped Tour in Maryland Heights, MO years ago. You guys got stuck on one of those smaller trailer stages, but it didn't matter. You guys simply slayed it. You were my favorite band back then and you're still my favorite band today. Keep on going strong!
