DIVERGENCY // LYRICS
Dissonance rings through this culture
Standards drown intent
There's always something you live for
Tomorrow we die alive
So our feet hit the ground tonight
Is it enough to hold on to?
Hold on to our state of mind
This is our unity
Form into agreement
Unfold and orchestrate
Are you feeling it now?!
This is our unity
Form into agreement
Unfold and orchestrate
This is our unity
There's always something to live for
(Always a sense of direction)
Why don't you wander with
Divergent visions?
Feeling a lack of contentment
(Need a relief, new invention)
Are you feeling it now?!
Revoke these patterns undo routines
Are you feeling it now?!
Tomorrow we die alive
Tomorrow we die alive
So our feet hit the ground tonight
Can you explain (can you explain)
Your position? (Your position?)
What are you afraid to (what are you afraid to)
Encounter?
Tomorrow we die alive
So our feet hit the ground tonight
Is it enough to hold on to?
Hold on to our state of mind
This is our unity
Form into agreement
Unfold and orchestrate
Are you feeling it now?!
This is our unity
Form into agreement
Unfold and orchestrate
This is our unity
Make an attempt an amendment
(Not a regret to look back on)
Why don't you wander with
Divergent visions?
Feeling a lack of contentment
(Need a relief, new invention)
Are you feeling it now?!
Revoke these patterns undo routines
Are you feeling it now?!
Tomorrow we die alive
Tomorrow we die alive
So our feet hit the ground tonight

Are you feeling it now mr krabs?
+Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad lololol
haha he deleted his comments
lol best comment I've read in awhile
Whay are there so many "Are you feeling it now mr krabs " comments?
Marth A. Stewart
They got a certain kinda horror spacey type of vibe on this album. The Keys got some cool sound and the guitars are fucking brutal as fuck. Breakdowns over those riffs are great. Production is amazing.
no i would go with pyramid's are beacons for extraterrestrial spaceships
Production is the best thing about this record, musicianship wise. Hopefully now you understand the style and boring play style was robbed from everyone else before them.
I don't know why people hate on this album so much, its full of bangers, the shit you want to see live. Sure, discovery is the greatest metal album ever made, but this album is fire.
I definitely agree. :)
The Discovery was so good because of Jason Richardson. But I was a fan of BoO before he joined and after he left, so I enjoy all their albums.
It's not the Greatest metal album ever made honestly yeah I hear a lot of metal but this is not the best metal album
@@Yousuck00 it's funny because Jason didn't do any of the writing for The Discovery.
They were so awesome live. So happy i got to hear them play some old bangers with new shit
I don't know why, but as simple as this opening riff is it always gets me going. It just goes to show, some times technicality isn't everything. Knowing when to play something simple well is indicative of restraint. Technical riffs are awesome, but sometimes the simplest riffs are the most moving.
I agree. The opening I think is just fucking awesome. It puts me in the best mood
This is Technical Deathcore though.
Young Shaa i dont care what its called. i like it
Brendan Marsh Alright be uninformed then. Why do so many people not care for learning something new. Stupidity is everywhere.
Young Shaa I'm all for learning something new. I just don't go in depth into the sub genres of metal. Like deathcore, metalcore, hardcore, post hard core whatever. I would rather just enjoy the music than focus or argue about what to call it
I love the the unmistakable sound of Born of Osiris. They're bouncy and melodic with amazing lyrical content.
Unmistakeable?😬🤔
The keyboard part that starts at 0:35 makes this song 100 times better
nair that breakdown at they end was fucking awesome too
nair . . . Hell yeah!
Won't lie makes the band sound much heavier.
And henceforth the moment they stopped writing guitar riffs..
Kick the keyboardist out and get a second guitarist. Actually put insane licks into the band!
That synth.
They’ve always incorporated it in their somgs, and we’ll I may add
My fav part of these bands
People may not like all the core bands that are out now, but I think Sumerian is on top of their game when it comes to the bands they sign. Born of Osiris and After the Burial are insanely good, and while I'll get shit for liking I See Stars, they got a lot more technical on the electronics and quite a bit heavier since their previous releases. Those 3 right there are why I like the label.
i see stars are awesome.
Don't forget about PERIPHERY
William Centeno Shit, you're right! XD
Time to go and check the others I'm missing lol
dont forget veil of maya either
***** Veil is epic
Something about the keyboards in this song is amazing. Don't care a whole lot for the song as whole but those keyboard leads are INSANE
Yo who tf cherrie lorran asmr
We were in the crowd for this video, it was shot on the south side of Chicago in an abandoned warehouse. The whole day was Divergency on loop with non-stop moshing. It was fucking metal \m/!! That was also the second time we met the band, they are really chill dudes
lol i thought there was nothing but hoods is southside chicago..
***** lol kinda true, it was so far south that it was past the hoods, in the industrial part of the city
I'll never forget when Ronnie did the first take and he jumped in the air, he hit me in the head. They stopped to make sure I was okay. Lol
@@CultofTimmy lucky... You got "head" at a metal concert... Day to remember for sure. Or should I say... Day To Remember...
That’s intense and yeah music videos are like that gotta reshoot at least 50 times for all clips
I wish I could play keyboard while crowd surfing
Parkway Drive - Karma.
They literally surf while performing
@@ryanguitarman2580 LOL that was better than I could have imagined
You mean you wish you could play keyboard.
I've been wondering ever since New Reign why they haven't been asked to do the soundtrack to a Mortal Kombat game. !!!>Instant Game Sales
id buy mortal combat just for that
I see them doing dragon ball z instead lol
XD
They'll fit Killer instinct too.
Now mortal combat has coming in movie 2021 "$ubzero vs Scorpio"
Have you ever been so crazy you put a bass drop and a breakdown together. Amazing song.
Lets get some Veil of Osiris going.
Lol... I have an appreciation for both bands... but that's exactly how I felt listening to both their new albums.
😂
I think they sounded more similar in their early years (first 2 albums from each band) than they do now.
Rosecrance
ua-cam.com/video/lTh7u2TU13I/v-deo.html. If ya don't know, now ya know
Don't get me wrong, 8 strings are cool and all, but this song is in drop C and it's still just about the fattest riff on the planet

G.K. Anguiano You got that right. Depends on the cuzin thou
My grandfather who is 67 showed me this
Cool i showed my cousin this and meshaguh
Art thou feeling it now, Mr. Krabs?
Oui
That outro from 3:27 until the end is one of the coolest shit out there. That energy @.@
Facts thats gotta be fun to play live
0:57 "Are you feeling it now, Mr. Krabs!?" c:
I love the midi instruments and how they incorporate it into this style of metal, there aren't many bands I know of who do this. I am DYING for a new album, or a new EP soon.
The keys make this song a whole lot better, so epic
1:23 I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WEAR
So ahead of their time
Born Of Osiris are musical and spiritual gods!!!!
Masterpiece.
Daniel Bergonzoni 🙏🏻🔥💯👌
this band is just... I can't even begin to explain..
this is what I'm going to dance to for work tonight
Alexa Aguilar knock emm out
*****: stripper. The club u work at is full of metal head staff so they let me get away with this stuff on slower shifts.
*the club I work at
Alexa Aguilar Cool shit! I had a suspicion that was the case, but you never know for certain.
It's the coolest thing having this staff.
When I started that club I asked the manager how heavy I could go as far as metal.
He said, slipknot, slayer, Pantera. Why what do you want?"
I gave him a face and replied,"Well, the metal I like I doubt you'll have here".
He goes,"Try me".
"Lamb of God?"
"As long as you make one of your songs 'Laid to Rest' otherwise I won't let you".
I was so happy. I was like,"I bet you don't have some Born of Osiris for my second song".
"Sweetie, I used to play for a tech metal band. Load it up".
i love this song, especially the break downs where the snare cuts through the guitar and bass. it hits right!
that last 30 seconds kicks my ass every time
Nothing like some good metal to wake you up.
I give this a solid 12 outta 13 pyramids.
And also as a bonus, receive one ,almost complete, giant headless dog statue too.
Born of osiris never ceases to amaze me
God, it is impossible for me to listen to this song without headbanging to it. So fucking good.
BOO FTW \m/
yes. Ronnie is the main vocalist, he does the gutterals. Joe is the back up singer. He does the highs and plays the keyboards.
had the pleasure of seeing them in concert years ago, absolutely amazing band.
My boyfriends band opened up for them localy, i got to meet them and get their autograph.
this is still ultracool and ... absolut insanely composed.
True Story,
I loved seeing this band live at Warped this year, like seriously they're hands down one of my favorite bands
That keyboard though
👍👍👍👍
My fav song from them, i really wanna see them live.
+BLSBerzerker996 wtf you talking about BoO goes hard AF live, pits are amazing the energy is awesome, vocals are so much better etc
***** what "sound" because I'm pretty sure all of music is sound.... That's the least descriptive thing you can say.
+BLSBerzerker996 do you mean the live mix?
if you didnt tell me this was the MV i wouldve thought this was a high quality fan compilation of one of their gigs. no shit.
This album is fantastic
Are you feeling it now, mr krabs?
3:27
Still goes hard 2022!!!
those fucking steel pan synths get me so good
the only reason i watched and listen is because my wonderful soulmate told me too.
I saw them play a month ago and they kicked ass! Their drummer is so hot!
Total Banger!!!
What a banger!
Nice keyboard work in this awesome song😎
Damn, he made turning that knob look hella metal lol
“State of MIND”!!!!😤🤬
That riff....
One of the sickest, heaviest, punch-a-baby's-face, break-your-granny's-hip, brutally massive breakdowns I've ever heard.
Who is still LISTENING TO THIS NOWWWWWWW in 2023?
Me! Right here!
While wearing one of my many BoO shirts.
@@unearth1yoneLies. This is 2024 bro
Me in 2024 🔥🔥🔥
Who tf cares enjoy it for life
2021: TOMORROW WE DIE ALIVE man this albums still fire af
I would have never expected keyboards in a metal band
Check out One Body Too Many by Winds of Plague
so you are just finding out about Born of Osiris. Damn. Listen to All their albums in order. For a week each. afterwards you will have ascended to a new level.
you never listened to children of boodem
Its actually pretty common
Seriously?
Keyboards is very important instrument in heavy music! They even lead in some bands like Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Rhapsody.
It's hard to find power metal without keyboards.
Saw them last night in worcester , absolutely epic. They go so hard , had the building shaking. They bring a ton of energy.
Never gets old 🖤
Greatest song ever.
Girlfriend: Is it in yet?
Me: 1:36
Sorry I had to do it just once before someone else does😂😂
Everyone seems to be obsessed with comparing every bands album release to the best album they've ever heard. Why worry about if it's "the best you've ever heard" when you can just enjoy some brutal music?
Are you feeling it now Mr. Krabs?
It's not a breakdown, it's just polyrhythms with cool melodies built on top of them. That's what djent is. If you don't like it don't find false statements to prove it bad.
The moment those keys started in the beginning, I widened my eyes in amazement and farted loudly. Not sure why, but my ass felt sweet relief afterwards. 👌🏼 I don't know why the hell I'm even typing this all out. 😐
#NoRegrets ✊🏼
Born of Osiris did really good on this album. Although it was a tiny step back from The Discovery, it it great it its own ways and I cannot wait to see more from these guys, seeing as I have been a fan since I was like 7 or 8 (A New Reign era). Favorite band of all time.
3 years since I was in this video. Time flys.
no way I thought I recognized you in the crowd super epic bro!
+GetBennidover thanks man. It was super fun. When Ronnie went in the air on the first take, he landed on my head and they stopped the take right away to make sure I was okay ☺️
+Timmy Scott fucking Rad 🔥
For every one who's complaining there's a thing called change and that's what they wanted too change some what of their style
A lot of bands go through that and if you're a true fan you'll still love BOO no matter what and if you're not then you're not a fan

I opened for Born of Osiris at the Ready Room here in Pensacola, Florida a few years ago when I was still drumming for a band. I like their music, and I think they are great live.. but they were NOT happy to be there, and wanted no part in interacting with us or the fans until they were by the merch table. Don't think I'm slandering them too much because I got butthurt or something, 'cause they didn't do anything to me personally. While I understand that heavy touring (which is what they were doing) takes a toll on a person, I have also seen bands such as Killswitch Engage take a personal interest in their fans and local areas.. At least around 2007. I tried to talk to one of the guitarists (guy with red hair buzzed short), but all he did was give me a look and keep skating around inside the bar on some sort of skateboard contraption. He literally ignored us. Very interesting. Of course, I have heard lots of good things about BoO, and that they have been very friendly to some of my friends.
ARE YOU FEELING IT NOW MR CRABS
That very last 15 seconds or so is friggin’ too heavy, I love it.
So glad I came across this band oh my fuck
what the fuck is wrong with me for not liking this sooner. you dudes are killing it
They need to do a collab with VOM and just
Looking forward to seeing Born Of Osiris Live in San Antonio March 4
These guys OWN some shit man.. \m/
The guitarist is amazing live.

***** i get 2040 lol
One of my fav songs of the new album. Really looking forward to seeing them live again.
I always thought the lyrics said, "This is a unity, formed into a gangbang, unfold. Time to castrate, are you feeling it now?!"
Close enough tbf
the end of this song is soooooo sick!
are you feeling it now Mr Krabs?
The funniest thing to me is that people that loved this band since The New Reign like me, didn't necessarily care for this album, but all these new fans think it's there best album
Such a sick ass fucking song!
This is awesome. Let the haters hate. I like the evolution of their music and they are having a blast doing what they love. How many people can say that?
it sounds better 1.5 speed holy shit
alice margereta hahah thanks for sharing it's awesome xD
Ever Meza told ya
alice margereta lol it is better, thanks man
+alice margereta Nah
+alice margereta it turns into slipknot's old material xD
The conclusion is so chilling and wonderful!!! Great work!!!
This and vengeance are the best songs on this album. As a whole I think the discovery was their best and most creative work
Are you feeling it now Mr. Crabs?
Double mirrored effects yes, but there are also, flares, slowdowns, speedups, cuts, stops, rewind effects, and that doesn't mention the enhancements and other effects that you probably missed as well. Was a cool looking video.
i miss jason's riffs!
Got to hangout with these guys a couple of days ago along with After the Burial and Upon A Burning Body. Really, really nice guys.
good album, discovery was the best. when they had Jason Richardson... -.-
