I’m loving how melodic BOO is getting now with the guitar work and the synths. The sort of Modern Melodeath vibe too is pretty massive in their sound now.
Born of Osiris + In Flames = This song. Especially towards the end, the melodic death metal vibe is strong with this one.

There's an old joke that goes something like "if you walk long enoungh along the desert, you will stumble upon a metalcore band filming their music video".
On a side note I love how Polaris made the sand dunes of a beach look like the desert.
Fun fact, this was filmed at Monahans Sand Dunes in west Texas.

BOO's been climbing on the top of my list lately. Holy shit. This might be one of my favorite evolutions from a band. They sound so full and mature right now. Damn big ups

Loved hearing this, haven't been into a song of their's this much since Machine. The cleans was a shock but very good. There's something just serendipitous about the entire song, like puts me in a feel good vibe and it's atmosphere they created that did that.
Saw these guys back in 2017 on the black tour and every band that played that night were amazing especially I see stars,asking Alexandria and born of Osiris. I have a good feeling about this whole album.
I saw them with Asking Alexandria, August Burns Red, Crown the Empire, and We Came as Romans.

@@Meracog it was bad omens,upon a burning body,after the burial , born of Osiris,I see stars and asking Alexandria. They were all amazing one of the best concerts ever. And this was when Danny came back because Denis left like a week or two before my concert date so Danny was there. Still hope to see Denis live one day. Hopefully with drag me out

@@Meracog such a good show and the energy went up when i see stars came out. They know how to put on a show such awesome guys they literally set the stage for Asking. If you ever get the chance you should definitely see I see stars live too.
I think I only saw them when they played on Warped Tour once. And I recall Joe filling in for Gus of Volumes.

This might be an unpopular opinion but im really amped for the singing, it felt very natural overall and i hope that at some point in the album we get a slower synth song similar to A Solution from The Discovery to really let his voice shine. The progression of the band over all is fresh and exciting without losing that classic BoO sound and im here for it. 😤👌🏻

The cleans reminds me of Regenerate off The Discovery album which is still my favorite BoO song till this day lol.
He has a nice tone to his voice and I think they could make hella more progressive music if they had more intricate nicely layered cleans (not some shit generic vocal). BoO can go less ‘deathcore metalcore’ and go more progressive.

Also, there were cleans back on The Discovery... so them adding nice little touches here and there isnt out of character necessarily.
Love the leads in this new born of osiris song the solo it sweet too and synths really bring a killer atmosphere to the song great reaction nik im interested to hear the direction they take with new album i reckon its gonna be pretty experimental from the 2 new singles
My favorite Born of Osiris song has to be Goddess of the Dawn, which already has several clean parts in it, and I'm beyond excited to see them step further in this direction. This song is a huge improvement from anything on The Simulation, I dig it.

Go check out "Whispering Deeps" by Words of Farewell if you loved this track. The entire bridge/solo section of that song is spot on to this track. Both are phenomenal. Thought honestly I like Words of Farewell's solo a lot more.

Cleans, although rare, isn't something new for BoO. They did some cleans on arguably their most acclaimed record The Discovery (A Solution, Regenerate) and was a part of the band before they settled on their final name and stylistic direction of the band.
