If ATB is generic, I don't want name brand. They are groove-rhythm based. They have their share of same-note riffs because it allows the rhythm and pattern they made to be accentuated more. People calling this one a "banger" are absolutely right, that's what this one is - a banger. They didn't write this song to show all of you how many different chord changes they can do, how many varied melodies and solos they can write. They didn't write it to win over the critics of music (who nowadays seems to be anyone with an opinion). They wrote it because THEY like it. THEY think it's bad-ass. And if ATB is a "zero band", which they're not, but if they are, they're one of the best to ever do it. I just wish some people would turn off their musical diagnostics calculations in their head sometimes and just enjoy the damn music. It's ok to not like the song, but some criticisms I see are ill-formed and needlessly critical.
Exactly. This song was about the groove and the feel. Not every song has to be written with a ton of different parts. I am a fan of writing for THE SONG. The artistic vision in this song is clear and it is obvious they just wanted a "banger" of a song.

I just wish some people would turn off their musical diagnostics calculations in their head sometimes and just enjoy the damn music. It's ok to not like the song, but some criticisms I see are ill-formed and needlessly critical.
Exactly. This song was about the groove and the feel. Not every song has to be written with a ton of different parts. I am a fan of writing for THE SONG. The artistic vision in this song is clear and it is obvious they just wanted a "banger" of a song.
