Made 34 16oz jars based on this recipe last night. I am tired but feel absolutely accomplished.
Did you use a glass jar or plastic jar?
I have no desire to make soap or bath products but something about your videos calms me down. I don't know if it's you or the subject matter but they make me feel better and sometimes quite my mind. Thank you 😊
I'm so excited! I finally got the ingredients to make this! This will be one of my major projects for upcoming gifts! I'm so thrilled!
I do mine a little different in that I don't stick blend, I use a electric whisk. After all my oils are melted, I stick them in the freezer like I would a body butter, then I take it out, whip it until its fluffy, then add the sugar and whip in the sugar. It makes a lighter, fluffier scrub :)
i do the same thing! :)
Me too.
That's a great idea. I was thinking that I will add more sugar because it's too runny...but if I made it fluffy, it would be perfect as is! Thank you!
I fluff mine up too, but I notice the amount lowers in jar over time...I also add more suger to suit my scrubyness taste
Looks wonderful! I've been fascinated with sugar scrubs recently and your video is one of the best visuals I've seen so far. Thanks!
I don’t have a clue how anyone could give this a thumbs down! It’s an excellent video!

I love how u scrape every last bit of ingredients out of every bowl (I know that's a little strange) 🙃
You are very clear and easy to follow and certainly have your act together! Love your methods and have learnt heaps. Your stunning to watch too so that makes you nice to watch.
Thanks so so much. You are an amazing presenter of info. Can't wait to give at a go. Debbie from Australia.
I love the color of the last one, reminds me of ruby red grapefruit pulp. 💖
Love this video. This scrub looks great and the strawberry one so pretty. Never used a sugar scrub myself, will have to try. Keep those videos coming. Glad you are able to come out of the deep freeze you were in.
I really liked the music in the background! You're really talented. Do you have a CD out? You compose you're own music. Unbelievable!
Awesome Ariane, they look so yummy, thank you for sharing, it's always such a delight to watch you create goodies! :-) Mel
I enjoyed the video. You sure are talented. And the music was wonderful to listen to as I watched.
You remind me so much of myself it's crazy. I always use the left overs on myself too,❤️
I love being a beekeeper! The wax is just as lovely as the honey! It takes me about a week to fully filter and clean my wax. :). I keep it all to myself and I use it in my soaps and make my own candles. 🐝🐝🐝
I don't live near a bee keeper, wish I could find one that would ship to me, I'm in the US.
chop master local farmers markets should have honey for sale. Ask them for wax too. The wax is a pain to clean and I clear my wax every other year from the hives. Right now I use 100% of my honey/wax myself since we only have a few hives at the moment. I replaced 100% of our household sweeteners with honey for health reasons. Beekeeping is quite the endeavor. It's a wonderful experience, but keeping them alive during the winters has been a challenge for us.
I know it's difficult to find beekeepers. My husband and I have a local city website going about our bees in hopes to get more and more people to raise their own bees to get the population up.
Good luck finding honey/wax. You may even want to have a hive of your own if possible. The bees are extremely docile and the bees are a beautiful experience.
theres one on fb that I am in love with his, cody rose... but I also found a local bee keeper here in Oklahoma, and I found him on craigs list
@@nicole-1855 can you pls make a video and share with us how to filter and get clean wax... We have honey comb that gets cultivated every year in our society... But since i dont now filtration process.. I dont buy it.. 🙏
thank you for sharing your recipes, I love your videos

I wish I had your energy to make that volume!
Very inspired and motivated to get to work now!
Ariane, love the video. To say thanks, may I offer my tip for beeswax? 1. I begin by melting the wax block on low-medium heat. 2. As it is melting, I prepare a metal or glass bowl with very cold water. 3. I also prepare a baking sheet with several layers of paper towel. 4. Once a good amount of the wax is melted, I remove the wax block, set it aside and then pour the melted wax into the cold water in a thin stream. 5. Return the wax block to the pan, place back on the heat to continue melting. 6. Use a slotted spoon to scoop the wax from the cold water and put it on the paper towel prepared in #3. It will look like squiggly bits. 7. Repeat until all the wax has been processed. You may find adding ice cubes to the water helps keep it cold. 8. After all the wax is melted and poured, line another baking sheet with several layers of paper towel. Transfer the squiggly wax bits onto the clean towels. 9. Loosely cover with a couple more towels and allow it to completely dry. Stir the wax occassionaly to help with drying. 10. When completely dry, put the wax in an airtight container and, voila! Easy to measure, faster to melt, lovely beeswax. It takes about an hour to do this, but I found the time was worthwhile.

Thank you Ariane for sharing this video. I would like some advise as to how i can prevent the oil from rising to the top of my scrubs.
for your bees wax you should grate it and keep it in a container easy to access when you need it also makes it easier when you make recipes and have to weight it off especially for big orders and batches
Wonderful video!!!!! Love it.....:) You are so sweet!!!! Thank you for the recipe... Carol
Nice scrub
I love all of your videos & products. I'm allergic to almonds, what would you recommend as an alternative? Thank you😊

I've recently decided to start making soap, scrub and other products and you are great help with how to start! Do you have to have your products tested before selling them?
Hi Arianne, I made your sugar scrub recipe today and love it. Just a question.
Does the mix set up overnight or is it supposed to stay fluid.
cheers Tanya
