Hi @sunnijames2802! That means so much to me! 😊 I’m so happy to hear you keep coming back to this recipe. Thank you for your kind words and for being a part of this community. Enjoy your scrub, and thanks for watching! ✨
I have not had an issue with the emulsified scrubs separating. Normally if it separates it is due to it not being thick enough or not being properly emulsified. You can always use my recipe (it is listed in the description box). Without seeing your recipe I would make sure you do not have too much oil in the scrub and increase the emulsifier or steric acid a bit. That should correct the issue.
Absolutely! The recipe yields enough to fill an 8-ounce jar. I've included measurements and percentages for easy adjustment based on your jar size. Simply multiply the percentage by the size of your container. For example, if you have 200 grams of ingredients and you want to use 0.5% of one ingredient, you would calculate it by multiplying 200 grams by 0.005, resulting in 1 gram of that ingredient.
@patriciasawyer661 Thank you for watching, Patricia! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. To answer your question, the sugar in the scrubs does not melt in the summertime. The nice thing about these sugar scrubs is that they are stable no matter the temperature. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
I’m sure you could, I don’t sell my products, so I don’t really know what all you need to do to sell the scrubs. The sugar is not going to melt in the oil, only when introduced to water. I love that it melts in water because it becomes more gentle the longer you use the scrub!
I always return here to make this emulsified scrub when I run out. Tfs your gift

I just use coconut oil and cetyl alcohol but I can't get the amount of cetyl alcohol right? I'm making 8oz jars. Plz help
Thank you for the great video! Do you get floating oils on the top of your emulsified sugar scrub? I always do and not sure what I’m doing wrong 😬

Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Can I add the SCI powder to the emulsified crub?
What amount does the recipe you’re using make ? Is that a 4oz jar ?
Absolutely! The recipe yields enough to fill an 8-ounce jar. I've included measurements and percentages for easy adjustment based on your jar size. Simply multiply the percentage by the size of your container.

Does this formula work for large batches ?
Absolutely! You can scale up the batch size by adjusting the percentages accordingly.
Does the foaming scrub separate as it dont have an emulsifying wax?
Good question. It does not because the surfactants are both emulsifiers.
Great video thank you for sharing. Will the sugar in the scrubs melt in the summer time ?

do jojoba beads only come in black?
No, they come in all kinds of different colors!!
Hello, could I sell any of these options? I am asking about durability and the exfoliating power of the sugar that melts over time. Thanks!!
I’m sure you could, I don’t sell my products, so I don’t really know what all you need to do to sell the scrubs.
