When I clicked onto this video I didn't know how old it was. Then it opens to this intro Katie from 4 years ago with long and curly hair without Lilly and the studio and fancy white wall for intros
Thank you so much. As a beginning soaper, I find your videos super informative and you are so generous with your information. You teaching style gives me the confidence to move forward on projects that I have planned. Thank you!!!
How fun to watch an older video and see what she's learned, how she's grown, and also just the differences in the video. It was so strange not to hear "scrapie scrapie my containie" hahaha
I am seriously so bored at home and my family showed their interest in my DIY sewing and knitting and I watch Royalty soaps for a few months already and I want to try those!:-)
I don't know why this popped up in my feed today, but I think I found something my 7.5 year old & I can make as Christmas gifts this year!! Thanks Kate!
I just started watching your channel. I make a lot of melt and pour soaps. I just tried this... It was suuuper easy and I made them in little shapes! I had most of the ingredients too. I also substituted the Shea butter for coconut oil (my best friend is allergic to Shea butter). Thanks so much for this tutorial!
Yes the sugar scrub is awesome but can I just say how absolutely STUNNING your hair looks in this video!! I’ve been trying to get my curls back for a while and yours are literally my goal right now!
My red cubes are cut and soo cute!! These turned out very nicely and were very easy to throw together. I used cranberry fig fragrance as I didn't have peppermint on hand and it was the most Christmasy fragrance I had. As a desert dweller these are lovely for dry hands.
Brown sugsr and vanilla are a grear combo too. I make a scrub of it plus an oil... Coconut is my fav but any type that's your fav is great. Smells awesome and relaxing. May smell good if chocolate was mixed in too. Ohhh yumm.. lol. But mine are scrubs.. but im sure they could have melt n go stuff added too.
Always a great video and product. I appreciate how thorough you are with how to's for every ingredient and detail. And your happy attitude and joy are contagious! Lol.. I feel happy and have more knowledge after every video! Thank you!!
Great DIY i fallowed another one for sugar scrub bars and she didn’t mention the base setting up so I had a dough ball but figured out on my own to warm it back up in microwave. Glad you mentioned that issue and how to fix it😊
Hey! I just wanted to say thanks for showing what to do with the Peppermint Sugar Scrubs! I really was wondering...as I have never seen anything like this before. You think of everything!
I do melt and pour and it makes me so mad when they start getting sweaty. like I've got them out of the mold ready to go into packaging and I'm trying to make the next batch and the first starts sweating and there's fire outside and I'm screaming and dying.
Cheyenne Watson I have seen ppl put plastic wrap over them so they won't sweat maybe that would work for u too. give it a try and let me know. Also when they unmold them they wrap in plastic wrap like cling wrap to keep the from sweating idk if it works just seen lot ppl do it.
i think there's a chance, but as long as you keep them in a cool, dry place in an air tight container they should at least stay for a while, but with sugar scrubs in my opinion it's a good idea to not keep them for too long anyways. i'd assume once it starts sweating and getting wet it would cause a little bleeding.
In no order of preference, I've gotten containers for various hygiene, grooming, personal, gift & sample sized products. I start at the discontinued, overstocked and clearance items areas. Often times you'll get lids thrown in with them. I dont remember which company but (i do but dont want to play favorites) i got 700-6 oz clear square bottles with lids for $4.75 and $4.25 for shipping -- $9.00 bucks for 700 bath salt bottles with screw on lined lids in less than 48 hours after ordering. I called back and got the other 1400 they had. From a different one same week i found 2800-3oz bottles with choice of lids-colours and delivery methods varied-mist-pump-squeeze-screw on-those were a whopping two cents-or a penny a lid and a penny a bottle. I also ALWAYS buy essential oil in as large of a size as i can afford when i order. They VERY 1st bottle my mom or son opened and were walking it to me....cleaning up 32oz of any oil off slick smooth kitchen flooring is challenging ! I still get in as large as i can BUT i buy 1/2oz or 1oz dropper bottles to use-easy to clean an ounce of oil. You can get 100 of them for about $35.00 in up to 11 colours - i dont fuss with labels or other things to redo - i have a $1.99 engraving tool from Amazon who's 2 AA batteries i replace about every 18 months. This tool goes DEEP and WIDE on its own with no force from my hand they come with 2 extra heads and 2 other shaped heads. They only die after maybe 100 drops on a cement floor. So here they are. 1.SKS, 2.BERLIN PACKAGING, 3.THE BOTTLE STORE, 4. ESSENTIAL SUPPLIES, 5. BOTTLE STORE. 2 of them will do labels for free on certain items, the 1st x #, ECT. 1 of them labels are included in prices. I have used that yet...as ive just gotten my recipes down and decided to move from hobby to business with this after about 15 years of letting my friends be my testers and critics on all products. WOW what alot ive said because of a commit about make sure its air tight !
💕❤️💕❤️💕 I know this is an older video and I sure hope you see this comment....... OMGoodness Katie!!!! Your hair is beautiful!!!!! Is it naturally curly??? You should totally let it grow out again... it’s beyond gorgeous!!! 💕❤️💕❤️💕
This is a video I missed but today it popped up in my feed! I loved your hair back then. Prob not as easy to deal with now that you will soon have 2 children but I think you could totally rock that look again! Also i would love to see more videos on these in different scents and colors. Do you still make them?
Thanks!! I really want to make CP soap, I've been collecting all the ingredients and tools (pretty sure I have more than I need at this point) but, I didn't start soon enough for Christmas...so, this is a great option and I can do it this weekend!! YAY :-)
So, +Royalty Soaps I noticed there is a slight shake in your video in to intro. I don't know if you edit your owns videos or not or what type of editing software you use but if you aren't using a tripod and you see a slight shake in the clip just bring the clip into either Premiere pro or After Affects (both adobe products) you can just drag Warp Stabilizer onto the clip and it analyzes it and gets rid of the shaking.
Wtf is wrong with you?? It was just a good advice on how to make the quality better, not a complaint or a rude comment o.O an secondly: learn to read, the name is kayla....
I have made these 3 times and they will not set up! The minute I touch them they fall apart. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Can you help? Thanks for any info
You're probably either not melting the sugar enough or melting it too much. You don't want it to be runny like liquid, but you don't want to have to scoop it out either. It should be melted enough that it can be thickly poured.
Hello royalty! I have a question, have you made any particular soaps with ingredients that would help those with eczema or anything of the like? Thanks!
I know this is a little old of a comment, but wanted to reply. I saw on another soap maker's YT that thay made a soap out of Pine Tar, it is very good for skin problems and in that soap mix they added CHUNKS of Black African Soap (which is mostly shea buter). I have not tried it, but it sounds like it would be wonderful for eczema and other problem skin. I have a close friend with the condition and I plan on making it for her once I get the basics down.

I know I love seeing old yt videos of where they started..
this is not related to the main video at all but...
Your hair is so cute along with that hat OMG!
I’m so happy this wasn’t one of those “add a little bit of oil to a bowl of sugar” recipes! Those turn out way way way too oily. Love this!
Thank you so much. As a beginning soaper, I find your videos super informative and you are so generous with your information. You teaching style gives me the confidence to move forward on projects that I have planned. Thank you!!!

Kelly Wittgreve Thats a good idea! Was the texture any looser with the coconut oil?
Yes the sugar scrub is awesome but can I just say how absolutely STUNNING your hair looks in this video!! I’ve been trying to get my curls back for a while and yours are literally my goal right now!
What if you made a soap that looks like an avacado made with avacado oil!! That would be awesome (:
Looks like a half a avocado with whole seed
My red cubes are cut and soo cute!! These turned out very nicely and were very easy to throw together. I used cranberry fig fragrance as I didn't have peppermint on hand and it was the most Christmasy fragrance I had. As a desert dweller these are lovely for dry hands.
She beat the devil out of that spoon lol
I thought the same 🤣
Bob Ross of Soaping. Lol

Why would anyone give a thumbs down? Great video Katie!
She over explains everything with an annoyingly slow drawn out tone. Only my opinion though.
@@charleebob08 why come to a tutorial if you don't want it to be explained?
this is SUCH A GREAT TIP!! thank you! making those tomorrow for the teacher's presents and my friends and my family...yes lots of sugars :)

I really was wondering...as I have never seen anything like this before.
You think of everything!
Awe, if only ..... Smell -O-vision......!! Wishing wishing....hehehehee
What you've accomplished at such a young age is so inspirational. Love your channel :)
I do melt and pour and it makes me so mad when they start getting sweaty. like I've got them out of the mold ready to go into packaging and I'm trying to make the next batch and the first starts sweating and there's fire outside and I'm screaming and dying.

I know I'm late but they have no sweat melt and pour now!
Wondering if the colour from the red cubes would bleed into the white ones over time? Would love to try this, but I'm curious how well they'd store?
i think there's a chance, but as long as you keep them in a cool, dry place in an air tight container they should at least stay for a while, but with sugar scrubs in my opinion it's a good idea to not keep them for too long anyways. i'd assume once it starts sweating and getting wet it would cause a little bleeding.
Fab! I love that you showed the results under the tap too.
Great video. Looking forward to making these.
That hat makes you look like a lil witch. Our soapy dutches comes at us again with yet another beautiful video. Love this as always.

Really?!?! some people just have to find fault in others. I guess this is your job. Great job Katie
Wtf is wrong with you?? It was just a good advice on how to make the quality better, not a complaint or a rude comment o.O an secondly: learn to read, the name is kayla....
Katie is Royalty Soaps....She does the great job.

Thank you very much for sharing! i tried them out and they work perfectly!! I am in love with those sugar scrubs!

Question: do essential oils work for fragrance oils? Or not so much?
Excellent tutorial! Thanks.

Do you need to add a preservative at all if someone might reach into jar to grab one with wet hands?
How adorable do you look.

Hey Katie / Royalty Soaps
Can you use coconut oil instead of olive oil in this recipe? Xxx
I would like to see Katie do a remake. I wonder if she would make it differently now.
Great idea
Hello royalty!
I have a question, have you made any particular soaps with ingredients that would help those with eczema or anything of the like?
Thanks!
Crow To Nightfall yeah I would to know also
Oatmeal, milk-based stuff, shea butter, vitamin e
One year late, but I find that mixing shea butter, almond oil, and coconut oil/cocoa butter into a bath melt really helps
Xeph Xen Jojoba oil is best for sensitive skin. Niacinamide is also a great ingredient to look for.
I know this is a little old of a comment, but wanted to reply. I saw on another soap maker's YT that thay made a soap out of Pine Tar, it is very good for skin problems and in that soap mix they added CHUNKS of Black African Soap (which is mostly shea buter). Those make me think of Turkish Delights and now I'm hungry
