First start up for rebuilt Volvo Penta 5.7 GXi

Nothing that fancy, just a rebuilt stock motor to remind you that this channel is alive.
Basically a Chevy 350 L31 Vortec with mpi and MEFI 4 ECM.
Block is bored .020", heads rebuilt with new valves, crank and cam checked and polished, of course new bearings, oil pump and a few accessories.
Even though it starts to become a routine there's always that feeling at first start. This one jumped to life within 2 revolutions and just ran like a dream.
Next up will be a pair of 502 cu.in. big block marine engines that will be run on the dyno. Please be patient for another 3-4 weeks 😊
