Start av en 1967 tvåcylindrig Volvo Penta MD2 tvåcylindrig Diesel med dynastart. En av de första MD2 motorerna med skönt sound och motorn är oskruvad och har alltid gått perfekt. Nice video. I now start my Folkparca, Volvo Penta MD2 engine just like this. The previous owner had not used the decompression levers, but now he has seen this also.

Otroligt fin "ratt-ring" för autopiloten! Har själv en Monark 690 där jag skall försöka installera en Navico WP 4000 autopilot men saknar rattringen. Har Du själv tillverkat den så vore det roligt att få veta hur Du gick till väg! Även jag uppskattade ljudet av MD2. Min 2003 låter inte hälften så trevlig!

Here in Croatia most of these engines were licensed made by Torpedo...im my village one have original md2 but he is idiot and didn't mantain him but still works

Have just replaced my starter on my Volvo MD11 for the second time. Do not buy the American aftermarket replacement starter that is available on Ebay - Like others on the web it is absolute rubbish and lasted only about 3 times before leaving us stranded without motor. Pieces of its case disintigrated with a major failure. I have just purchased a UK sourced starter motor made in Netherlands which is a much better product and appears to work well. Nice clean engine setup in the video and an interesting use of the decompression levers to get things started. Paul Melbourne Australia

Nice and clean engine bay does the thin insolation on the engine cover . Makes a difference on the engine noise ?
