- There are a lot of chatbot options out there and it can be especially hard to choose the right one for you when starting your streaming journey. But after using a few different chatbots and looking at the functionality of each one, I believe I have discovered the best chatbot for streaming out there! Hi, great Video - do you know if "StreamElements" has the ability to put a Chat Box in Game, meaning the monitor I am playing a game on, so I don't miss CHAT's or FOLLOWINGs etc.. I get so into a game that I don't see the notices on my other monitor - or do you have another solution that works... Thank you in advance.

Will stream elements recognize my emote names if I swap them out with the default emote names in the responses ? I changed all the emotes in the module section for follow sub cheer responses to my own emotes.. will it recognize this and use my own emotes in the response when streaming on my channel?
Hey @EagleGarrett, I joined a stream once and they had a cool feature with their chat bot that as soon as you type something it shares to everyone that person's link to their mixer/twitch channel and what they last streamed with how many followers they have. I thought it was brilliant and helps out other people so I followed just for that. Do you know how that can be done with the custom commands/variables in stream elements? Thanks
Great to have you in the stream man! And thanks for checking out the video! That seems interesting to me they had that added. We have something similar in our Discord server for helping people promote their channels. But not in chat, self promo can get bad if it's allowed.

Hi. I am new to streaming and I noticed Streamlabs chat bot will ignore my followers commands on a daily basis it does work eventually but is frustrating to see members type over and over to get a command to work. This is not due to cool downs either, just seems to randomly work or not sometimes. Are there any tips or secrets you may be able to share so I can take better care of my viewers?
How do you get your twitch emotes in your commands? I put the name of them in mine, but it just shows the text not the actual emote :( Please help!
I like this bot also it’s nice if you use OBS.live you can set yourself as the chat bot or even make a custom chat bot name

i try to create a command which can be posted by anyone with the URL to my youtube channel and/or discord server. but the URL turns out to be *** in the livechat. what am i doing wrong?
Nice job on the vid, man. I recently made the switch to StreamElements but I often find myself using Streamlabs Chatbot still because of my audiofiles connected to my commands. Is there that kind of functionality in Stream Elements?
Yes, there is using the store redemption feature. You can set up audio that can be redeemed via chat commands.
@@EagleGarrett Is there a way to import all the Streamlabs Chatbot commands and sounds to SE chatbot easily? I've put a lot of time into setting it up, and I'd love to move away from SL, but I can't redo all my commands again...

I do all configuration of BOTs, alerts in the chat, but the bot does not respond to commands created in the chat! I've already put him to streamelements as a chat moderator in the role management but he doesn't respond!
Was there anything else I could check?

When i go to install OBS.live i get a prompt during the setup that says Close programs to continue setup. The program it wants me to close is called "Close programs to continue setup" which is literally what is open. So it tells me to close it and it just loops? I don't get it at all

I just want a command that will show when i get raided on my channel the command will say thank you for the raid and when someone follows me itll say thank you for the follow on chat...i want my things nice a simple... trying to learn these command is crazy but love it... you the man eagles thank for this video
You can do both of these things using StreamElements bot. Those features are under the modules settings i believe. I'm glad this video was helpful!

Just google PlayWithViewersBot, download that extension. Make sure to use /mod PlayWithViewersBot in your chat.

Hello Garrett! Just watched this video and the one regarding the 10 streaming tips. Thank you. Just what I was looking for.
I’m going to start streaming next month. I’m an invalid and haven’t worked for over 10 years. The lack of friends and contacts helped me to decide to stream. The main thing is being busy and hopefully interact with others.
I will start with games like Path of Exile and Torchlight 2. ARPG’s. I have not played those games for many years but now, finally after a long time I got all my PC parts. There is one thing that keeps popping up and it’s the lighting and green screen problem. Personally I prefer to watch Twitch games where I can see the streamer. My room as background in impossible. So I’m not very sure on what to do.
In the 10 tips video you invite people to your discord server. Is it only for FortNight players?

Also, you could do a green screen which is always good if you don't have a background. But also, you could try no webcam if you wanted to. Never hurts to just see what it's like for you. Although, a webcam is definitely better for growth in most cases.

Hello! Are youknow how to format the command to show a user's Sub Age/time. I'm wanting to able to do !subage @(insert name) and see their sub age in chat.

You can rename the bot, I believe you need to use OBS.live as your streaming program. Then you can change the name there.
