I'm so conflicted on the statement on the content lock section because most people say stick to one thing, don't change your content you wont grow if your switching it up, however I agree. I don't like to put myself in a box, I like to experiment to figure out what works for me and my small community of friends that I've made
@@AkaAshen It's a balancing act really. You have to focus on something you're really into and become an authority in that game. At the same time, you have to also be willing to try new things and pivot if the game your playing ends up dying or just doesn't have a player base big enough to really justify your time on it.

Hey, just a suggestion, but do what works best for you! I just noticed that the time investment and the lack of growth on X wasn't worth it. I changed up my strategy on X and it seems to have been working better. So I wanted to at least get the info out to everyone. But if you still prefer to post going live posts, it won't hurt your stream at all. Only really your X account if anything.
@@EagleGarrett I will not actually do Going Live posts, but the live stream will show up on my timeline as a post. I agree with your suggestion, which is why I put the LOL in the comment.
@@FatherBillKessler Ohhhh, I get it now! Haha! Makes total sense! And I think streaming on X is a fantastic idea btw! I think there is a lot of potential for the platform and content creators in the future. So being an early adopter could prove to be really beneficial.
Yeah, we spend so much time posting "going live" on X when it would be way more beneficial to just post good content there and build a following on X instead of going live posts everyday.
I think that it is true, that your tips will help to grow, but also it will lead to burnout very quick, if you try to do all those things manually. Get familiar with bots, like Streamerbot and setup automations for sorts of things, like clipping, maybe even by voice command, so you can just quickly say "clip it". The other thing is, that you can only grow superfast if you have tons of time. If you watch streams with a few hundred viewers, you will often times see, that their content is not so different in quality, but they are live like 6 - 8 hours 4 times a week.
I've been streaming since 2016 or 2017 as well, but I've never made it to the point where it can be an income. For one, I don't enjoy editing videos, as well as no ideas are coming to mind for them.
Then just plan out what you want to do each stream. Like what you want to focus on or the goal you have for the stream. Record that and make it a video.
Then there are only two options, you have to practice and get better at it or find someone who is good at it and hire them to do it for you. But I'd say practice at first, you can get good at it and it's a great skill to have!

I never really did consider looking at how my "live now" posts were doing but yeah the traffic from those posts is miniscule!
