I just re-watched this. You're right. They spelled her last name "Giddons" instead of "Giddens".

A part of me just thinks that it's a careerist attempt to market herself to the BLM/woke crowd, but that's never going to work out because many in the black community have no desire to return to that music, regardless of its origins..
