@big tornadoes Please don't accuse her of anything. There is no reason to believe she is lying. She has said in many interviews that her mother was half African and half Native American. Her cheekbones indicate Native American ancestry (cf Buffie Sainte Marie)

Her husband put his career on hold for her dreams and takes care of the kids and in the end she left him for someone else. I love Rhiannon and all she's done but that's rough.
I don't know the details, and I don't imagine many people do. But while, yes, it must be rough, I'm not sure it's all that unusual - except that it's generally the woman who has prioritised her husband's career, and we're so used to that we probably wouldn't even notice it.
Really a childish statement. Nobody knows what goes on in a marriage. He is an adult and the decision for him to “ put aside” his career was a joint decision. How many women have done the same in their careers for men. As a citizen of Ireland, did he get custody of their children bc they too were citizens of Ireland? Do they have joint custody. Never believe that ending a marriage with children is easy. so to say she left him for someone else is a simplification of whatever happened. Her separation from her children must be tough. But Husbands divorce and are apart from their children and no one raises an eyebrow. I know she and her Italian husband live in Ireland… to be near her children. She is once in a lifetime talent.

This is the stupidity that Social media brings us. Nobody who is happy, comfortable, and in love leaves a marriage. To suggest a person you do not know cheated on her husband is how absurd we have gotten. We heard, we read, and we think, but we have no real way of knowing what we say has an ounce of truth in it.

Amazing versatility. There seems to be nothing musically that she cannot do.
I'm glad she is "making it" and I love her work in any capacity but I liked her work with the Carolina Chocolate Drops the most.
