How the hell somebody can give a thumbs down for this? If you can't find it wonderful like I do, at least you should consider that these people are loving what they are doing, they are good in it and they don't want to hurt anybody. The music itself is positive and makes people happy, what can be wrong with it?
There is not one iota of phoniness in this woman. She's all heart, and the quality of her God given talent is at this time in 2019, second to none. Honestly, I find it hard to believe.
If Gospel music was a person, tears of awe and gratitude would be running down its face.
When I was a kid-about a hundred years ago-my folk listened to this kind of music. We called it "folk music", I guess they call it bluegrass now. Thanks for the memories Ms Giddens.

Agreed. I paid a fortune to go to the Cambridge folk festival to see her last summer and it was well worth it. Hope to see more of her in the UK.
Lovely, luminous lady with a huge talent. So appreciated by me in this day and age where overemotive theatrics during performances are more common than not.
I don't know why some bands and singers feel the need to do that. I just love watching the band playing. That does it for me.

Saw her on the Esplanade on July 3rd. She stole the show. My whole family, teenagers included, loved her music.
I heard her for the first time at the Boston Pops July 4th concert. Since then, I have searched for everything she has done. How she isn’t a household name is beyond me, but I expect she will be before long. What a talent.

The outstanding performer on this year's Jools Holland Hootenanny new year eve show on BBC was Rhiannon Giddens... happily now listening through as much as I can of her performances.

I have been a fan of Rhiannon Giddens since first finding about the Chocolate Drops in 2007. To see her continue to absolutely shine in every genre is a tribute to the amazing talent she is. Is there a better women performer than Rhiannon right now?

Rhiannon Giddens' two jaw-dropping sessions blew away the 2018 Fresh Grass Festival this past September. She opened to a packed house to present the work that the festival had commissioned her to create. When she finished her hour+ slot, my friend turned to me and said, "Might as well go home. Nobody's topping that". Fortunately, it was a great festival and Rhiannon and her talented crew brought the house down again at her second session.
What a talent.
Just saw her in Glasgow the other night and she is absolutely amazing live and a great personality will definitely be watching out for her!

lyrics sound a little like Lone Pilgrim on Bob Dylan's World Gone Wrong album but then he pinched a lot from the tradition he loved and to a degree he absorbed in his youth
