I've been having that trouble trying to kick flip off of stairs and as i finished watching this video i finally landed it, I'm literally commenting this just after i landed it, thanks man
I've been trying to kick flip everyday for like 3 hours for the past 2 weeks and today I'm determined to land it... ill update this if I do so update- didn't land It but now I can land with my back foot on it.. trying to get my front foot update- I GOT IT!!!! really just got send it
I am physically unable to put my front foot on. I’m not even scared. My front foot literally doesn’t go on I try my hardest to put it on it just doesn’t. Please help Edit: I learned kickflips like 2 weeks after I commented this. What I did prob won’t make sense but I just pushed my front foot on somehow. The kick flip trick is al mental so just try to be positive and tell yourself you can do it
Same dude I've landed a few kickflips and I'm having the problem with my front foot again, I don't have any advice to help u all I did was say fuck it and went all in but I know where your coming from it's hard
Just a question have you got it? Bc I’m having the same problem I’ve probably gone for around 700-800 kickflips and my front foot is just not getting on
Okay guys, i had the same problem as you guys but i managed to learn it by just trying to put my feet together. Hope this helps, it definetly helped me.
Finally! A video that shows someone landing a trick with the back foot rather than the front. I’ve been searching on UA-cam for quite a while and all I found was people landing it with the front foot, which I can’t relate. This video puts a lot of things into perspective, on how I can finally land my trick. Thank you!
Bro thanks so much. Skating needs more people like you. Most people teach tricks on how to do it and dont show how to fix the common problems so i havent been able to land this trick but because of you im progressing so much and I just wanna say thanks for that!
I've been practicing my kick flip at least 1-2 hours every day for the past 2 months and I felt like i was so close, BUT I couldn't GET MY BACK FOOT ON THE BOARD!!!!! Also my board kept turning 90 degrees... FINALLY, thanks to you, I practiced holding on to something and I GOT ITTT !!!!!! (like an hour later!!!) I looked at soooo many tutorials, but yours was the best. Seriously, thank you 🙌🙌🙌
Best tutorial by a mile short and to the point And after landing with my back foot every time first try after this vid I landed half way with both feet and am abt to land one
This guy got it explained! Hips and shoulders! That's it! I thought I was done with that shit! But it's like main rule in skateboarding, which keeps returning. Just like commitment. Gotta fix this fast.
Ok idk if you'll reply to this since this video was from ages ago but id like to say thank you for making this video it's really opened up my view point on doing kickflips now. I still haven't landed a kickflips after a month of trying but I feel this video will truly help me because of how u mention how some with do the frontside motion which is something I've noticed I do. So once again thank you and hopefully I can't land a kickflip
Probably the brst help ive ever gotten on this, my front foot would always go to the ground this video helped me and im sure it could help others, had been practicing the wrong way for months
Yeah, but I can land only with the front foot, not the backfoot,or If I try I can land with backfoot, but not with frontfoot,I need to land with both feet
@@savagestyles1606 yes i have them on lock!!! i take them down gaps and drops check out ricky glasers live stream from friday. He reviwed my kickflip! i was the first clip he watched btw
I swear it took me 5 years to wire kickflips and then I quit practically immediately. 25 years later I am back into it to skate with my kid and I'm back to making the same mistakes all over again. Thanks for the advice, bro.
Got my board 3 days ago and using your videos I can Ollie, kick flip ,pop shuv and a fair few fair things on a mini ramp (drop in, tail stall, rock to fakie, axel stall) really appreciate your hard work and effort to help people like me keep it up
Ive been landing kickflips for almost a year now. I learnt them during lock down. And I land one every day, but some how Ive developed this weird open shoulder position, which I think is making my Kickflips really inconsistent. Some days I get them first try other days it takes me 50 tries...Im gonna try this tutorial to fix my action.
This video helped alottt!! Still havnt landed my kickflip but after this i realized I i had too lift my right shoulder much higher when I jump so I can get my front foot higher upp too catch the board , hopefully tomorrow I land it thanks for the help🙏🏽🙏🏽
This happens to me sometimes with kickflips(but I land front foot)because I'm not consistent with them so I will try holding on to something thank you for this video! (:
Well this points put everything ive been trying amd told for the last 2 years now.. now if i can only stop rolling my ankles worse and worse every single time i actually DO land both feet, resetting and fighting the fear from the ground up over and over every week....
I am new to skating. However, I can now skate. Kindly do a video showing us, beginners, all the different ways of stepping onto a skateboard without falling. The fear of falling and , breaking my neck, is still there. How do I overcome this.
Nice vid I'm ha wing this exact problem so I tried to set up like a hard flip so it would even out my shoulders turning but it didn't work I'll have to try again tomorrow
Very helpful:) thanks for all your time spent making these videos, I have told a few people about them already. Do you ride vert at all? if you don't mind me asking.
Im currently having a crisis in where when I don't commit to a trick, it's always my back foot, I've grown a hatred for my back foot wussing out of tricks when I know I can do it, on heelflips and kickflips, my back foot feels alien in the air, it ends up landing everywhere but back on the board, this has been going on for months
ive created a bad habbit of landing with my shoulders facing forward and my back foot only, now when i try to keep my shoulders straight i cant flick the board at all :(
mypandaxx same, you probebly have your front foot too far back on the board like me. its way easier to flick this way but the kickflip becomes lower and you will pprobebly land with both feet on the tail
Just flick your front foot harder and move it up a bit. but like don't kick it in front of you. also make sure you jump high enough for it to rotate all the way
Shoulders have nothing to do with how you land or dont land. It’s your vertical body axis that matters. Sometimes open shoulders or even closed shoulders lead to a body axis that is leaned too far one way, but not always. Look at many pro skaters that kickflip with WIDE open shoulders.
Ok, my question is when i kickflip holding onto something i'll just do an ollie is there anything that could stop me from doing that motion and allowing it to flip?
Every time I try to kick flip my back foot just misses the board, my kick flips are high and I catch them in the air but my back foot barely misses the board and it seems like the board rotates a little like a backside 180
I landed my kickflip stationary then I had to stop because of school now coming back trying to relearned kickflip it's doing varial flip now, my friend told that I should continue doing varial just forget about kickflip for awhile then I landed it my main issue is my kickflip still doing varial even I'm not trying to do a varial, need help thanks
Excuse me sir. I can’t land with my front foot. I can flip it full when landing with the back foot but when I try to get my front foot on, I focus too much on getting the front foot on but then I can’t get the full rotation. Please help me!
I need help, I land on the front foot while holding on to something, I can't seem to get my back foot on. When I'm not holding on to something I land on no feet, I get the full rotation but don't land it.
I need help I’m not scared to do the flip or to land it I just keep rocketing the board or when I try to land it my feet no matter how hard I try just keep going in between the board and it’s getting really frustrating I’ve tried your tips it’s hard and I’ve been practicing for a while now
Where have you been all my life Jesus man I thought I would never land with both feet

my problem: my back foot chickens out, or board launches firward

I'm late but the board is launching because you are probably flicking more at the tip of the board, whereas you should flick off the side.
