Tanner The 99-03 7.3 sounds a little softer than a 94-97. I’ve got a ‘00 7.3 F250 with a 4” straight pipe and I think it sounds absolutely ridiculously cool 😎 but the 94-97 will sound a bit crunchier and have a different sounding whistle cause of the smaller turbo.
Great video! I actually have those CP Addict brackets, but I haven't installed them on my 97 F250 yet because I also didn't want to cut into the dash for switches and was trying to figure out a solution--you killed it! Any chance you would be willing to make the bracket you fabricated and sell it? Thanks again for the great video!
Haha I definitely wouldn’t feel comfortable charging for my hand made junk, but if you have some tin snips, a drill and a bench grinder that’s all you need to make one!
@@JustDiesels I appreciate your modesty, but honestly it would be super helpful if you were willing the knock another one out! You designed it perfectly for what it is and I don't really have access to a bench grinder. Again, happy to pay you for you time! Just ordered the same Baja setup to go with the CPA bracket I've been sitting on! Super stoked. Again, thanks for the great vid and the consideration for making another bracket.
@@ruby20003628 I got a chrome bumper from ebay or amazon for about $200, solid, no lic plate or fog light. It seems to be ok quality, and fit up. I think it was listed for a 90 bronco, not for obs 7.3. I'm very happy with it, and mirrors from 90 bronco for maybe $120 total, new chrome, similar HD bracket style, had to bend about .5" to line up holes, but no one would ever know.
We missed the part where you either had to cut squared holes in an otherwise stock front chrome bumper to accommodate the rectangular lights or you bought an aftermarket front bumper with the squares pre cut out - Which is it - Thanks
This is a factory bumper, not all obs fords had it and I believe that is your confusion. They were sold with solid chrome bumpers, but the bumper on the truck is factory.

That 7.3 is an absolute beauty. Please don’t change it. It’s perfect
Don’t worry, no crazy lift, hood stack, or bro wheels will be put on this truck ever haha.
@@JustDiesels I have great respect for that. Nice truck.
Super bright! I could listen to that 7.3 all day.
The OBS looks great! Love seeing its progression. The production quality of your videos is awesome man, reminds me of some Carfection videos.
Thank you! It’s fun because I can actually follow the build along! Sadly the third gen is pretty much complete so it’s less fun to video.
Thanks for the great video! Glad it all went so well
Dude, your switch placement is an amazing idea! I'm gunna steal it for a project. Too many times I see junk holes drilled in the dash.
Do it! I stared at the dash for a long time trying to figure out where to put something without drilling a hole! Haha
I did that too but right into the trailer brakes mount
That turned out so clean! Next best sound after a 12 valve is a 7.3
decent_1st_gen I think it’s about time I make a video putting the two exhausts head to head for a comparison 😈
12v sounds like a tractor, nothing sounds as good as a 94-97 7.3. Some Duramax sound pretty good.
@@fightinggator4398 do the 98-02 7.3s sound different?
@@Tanner731 they didn't make a 98, but the 94.5-97 sounds quite a bit different from the 99-03

Awesome video!... Inspired me to do this to my 96 OBS. I love that you try your best to keep everything factory.
Yeah I have fun with mods, but in a way that doesn’t mess with the originality!
id recommend switching the headlight bulbs to a set of firewire 9007 leds. They were a bit of a pain for me to aim, but its well worth it.
Super helpful! I have been looking to do exactly this to my Eddie Bauer Bronco.
Nicest truck I have ever seen leave it original🤙
Super clean install and truck
Thanks man. I’m pretty certain you have the only dedicated video for this install. Good job
Yeah I saw nobody had one so I figured why not make one!
Absolutely mint, love it
Amazing!!! Can't wait to do this to my truck!!
Nice job on this upgrade saving your video for my cclb.
Glad I could help!

I have a grill guard installed on my OBS. Will that get in the way of installing the brackets??
Great job.
awesome vid! you got a side marker light on the pass side out tho
great video. thanks!
Awesome job bud!
What type of headlight bulbs are you using? Stock or upgraded LED. They seem a bit whiter than the stock yellow glow.
I want to put some s2’s in my grill but I don’t know if there street legal can I get some help
great video! Where did you get the hardware to mount your light from the rear instead of the side?
Nice job ! Beauty of a truck also! What gauge of wire did you use and did you install a inline fuse ? Thanks ! Keep that 7.3 rolling 🇨🇦
I just used the provided wiring harness from BD so I could trust their math on wiring gauge haha.
Beautiful truck. Is that a 315 tire on a ?
I love this truck I hope it can convert to electric
you are a disgusting individual
How much should I pay for a long bed single cab f250 7.3
How many miles is the question
@@fightinggator4398 2-20k
Will these brackets it with a intercooler?
where did you put the cord for your block heater?
What’s the size one on those lights?
Do you use the truck or just kinda enjoy it?
If by use you mean drive, road trip, and tow with it, then yes. And I enjoy doing it too! haha
Notice any transmission shift issue with the squadron LED?
No, there is absolutely no relationship between them.
I understand it sounds a bit odd, but I’ve read that certain LEDS draw too much power from the batteries causing transmission issues.
don't forget to replace headlights with LED bulbs!
I have an OBS that has the solid painted bumper
Could I replace it with the chrome fog light bumper with the original brackets?
The brackets just mount to the back of bumper, so if you swap to this one they’ll work!
@@JustDiesels awesome. Thank you

I wired mine into my high beams
I just ordered the brackets. Hopefully my 96 Bronco has the same factory holes needed to mount. 1:40
@Just Diesels
My Bronco has some kind of plastic guard that would need to be removed in order to mount the brackets. Did you have anything like this?
I knew they were going to be over $200
Cost too much 😢
For rich people 😂
Can you fit them in the holes of a Ranch Hand bumper?
These brackets wouldn’t work for that application, but the Baja Designs lights will fit
