I have hope now.
Thanks Dr Paul, In have this pain from hitting golf balls every the other day. I am 53yrs old. I think the ages palm going to rebel against me now. I stopped hitting balls and will use your recommended massage to rest it!
Nice and very informative video thanks . I too have such nodule in one hand , some kind of swelling. But it pains when I touch it. Fingers movement is OK. What should I do??
This is what I have. Great video! I'm going to use all the advice for helping it. Mine is in the early stages so I have no finger deformity, just the nodules forming on both my hands in the same section as the gentleman does. Thanks for making this video. I think it would be easier for someone else to massage the hand other then myself. I think I would baby it a bit if it started to hurt. LOL

Thank you for this information. I just started noticing a hard painful lump in my palm about a week now, in my right hand. I figured it had something to do with a tendon, as it felt tight & getting large & quite painful to the touch ( like a bone growth ) I started massaging & pressing on the area three days ago, as the pain was disturbing my sleep, & realized that’s what I need to keep doing, as it reduced the lump & pain, & I’m able to sleep now. I will try soaking in warm Epson salt water as well. Thank you.
Hi, Thank you for your informative video. The only question I have is how do you even get it? I have it but how did I get it? Also I have a similar lump in the bottom of my foot and that’s called something else. Are the two related? How do you know for sure what it is?
I have not been diagnosed with Dypuytrens syndrome but facing same issue. It is very painful. I tried magnesium supplements along with vitamin D and it works. I think one should try raking magnesium malate or glycinate as magnesium us a natural myscle relaxer. Also take Vitamin D separately as most of us are low on Vitamin D. Good luck. Let me know if magnesium works for you

I shattered my left wrist in 2021. After surgery and 10 months of painful occupational therapy, I’m doing better but not 100%. Tonight I noticed a hard lump on my mid-palm below the ring finger. Could the lack of total recovery of my hand/wrist be a factor in this? Thx!!
I this same thing no1 els in my family has ever had it but I am the only one that has played golf since young age and used my hands a lot for work I have a literal hole in my hand
Hi, I find your videos very useful and good explanations. Will I be able to see the thickened tendon and nodule changing in my hand as I do what you are showing without aggravating the issue?
Hi, i am 27 and already have the nodule for few years. I am an active sports player, i want to know is it okay to play volleyball and go to gym? Whenever i hit the ball or do pushups I have little pain. It will be useful for me to know, thanks.
just be mindful of stretching the part of issue and using that only gently. Volleyball would be fine. Gym is OK, but think about what parts of the hand you will use and what tendons are stretched and how....some people use gel gloves for weights I've heard...
Ive had operations on both hands. One was more or less successful the other not so good as the tendon is still tight. Not sure if these exercises will help though as it is quite tight.
I've actually had a few patients for other issues tell me they were able to stave off surgery by massaging and stretching it. Not everyone will respond that way but some have.
I had surgery to remove the problem. My hand works just fine. I did not need any physio afterwards and my surgeon was also a board certified plastic surgeon so you can’t even see the tiny scar.
