The theremin is played on 'Whole Lotta Love". That part in the Madison Square Garden footage is so badass, simply amazing. The day Bonham died me and my friends skipped school and played Zeppelin all day. I was 13 years old, my brother's were in a band and invited me to go see Zep with them and their band bus for the first shows in the US (their manager had connections for tickets). Then the word came, I was so bummed. Only SRV's death affected me as much.

For extra Zep goodness, listen to the live version from "How The West Was Won," in which Jimmy Page plays The Greatest Electric Guitar Blues Solo Ever Played By A White Englishman.
So far, this is my very favorite of all your reactions. I was in college when Led Zeppelin's first album was released. I remember someone calling a bunch of us into his room to hear it. He said, "You're not going to believe this". Our minds were blown. Then the second album came out. We heard, "You won't believe this, but it is even better than the first album". And we all said, "Hahahahaha. Not possible". Yes, it was. And so it went for the first four albums. Each one, it seems, was better than the last. John Bonham is one of the most remarkable drummers of my lifetime. Period. But the bottom line is this: Led Zeppelin is a BLUES band. Yes, it is. It's roots are in blues. Robert Plant is a blues singer. THAT is undeniable. And his gutsy, heartfelt vocals defined the group as a blues group. And, in essence, that's what it is.
Great story :D Zep is blues influenced no doubt. But id be damned if they aint rock and roll to the core. They also influenced metal, i mean endlessly they provide inspiration!

THE BEST GOD DAMN DRUM BREAKDOWN EVER THATS WHATS ABOUT TO HAPPEN! Lmao
AeroZepp420 TRUTH AND THE TRUTH HATH SET HIM FREE!
Best part of the best Led Zeppelin song of all time imo
What's going on? Here's what's going on if your old enough. Put the vinyl on with 4 speakers and feel the sound travel around the room. Sit in a beanbag chair if possible. He'd understand it then.
@@johnteucke6352 Hell 2 the yeah!!!!
@John Teucke there is no better sound than vinyl! Doesn’t matter how far into the future we go....vinyl will live forever!
Just found your first reaction 2 Led Zeppelin. I've been listening to your Channel for a couple of months now. I enjoy you. But I have to say, this one made me get a really big smile on my face!
This is what we called in our youth
"ACID ROCK".
Continue on with your discoveries
of music that changed my generation. Enjoy it all and I'll keep watching you be amazed by your awakening. :)
You seemed genuinely "dazed and confused" lol.
That is the desired effect! The sound, with some mind altering drugs back in the day...
It's just great music, that helps you get through a long day.
Jimi Hendrix - All Along the Watchtower!
That's an instant worldwide block. Trust me, I had a 3hr long video that got blocked worldwide because that song was in the background for about 10 seconds. :\
Fk yes, played a lot but my favorite Hendrix song, right there with hey Joe.
Voodoo child makes me fart shit... crosstown traffic is sneaky good too...
AATW is a Bob Dylan tune. Jimi does it justice.
The lead singer is Robert Plant. Arguably the best vocalist alive.
Roger Daltry was every bit as good if not better
Freddie Mercury was the Man!!!!
I think he was still technically a teenager when he sang that... maybe not long twenty
Truth be told Greg Lake was the best.
@@laurasarmas alive, I do think he's the better vocalist, but unfortunately he is gone
Right at the end of the cello bow solo, three taps on the high hat, and Rock and Roll changed forever!!!!
Incredible musicians. IMHO, John Paul Jones was the relatively unsung hero of Zeppelin. He was the backbone of that band.
Pretty much. He's overlooked but he was definitely a master in his own right.
Their final studio LP "In Through the Outdoor" wouldn't have been possible without JPJ holding the band together.
listen to the interplay between the drums and the bass on the part where No Life goes "why do I feel like I'm walkin' through a jungle right now" . . . amazing . . . prolly comes from a lot of exposure to jazz IMHO
I always tell people that if JPJ was in any other band people would lose their shit. But surrounded by Plant, Page and Bonzo, he was the only man that could do the job and is never appreciated
Hard work is its own reward.
The 1970 dazed and confused solo is probably the hardest version of that song. The violin bow solo is crazy intense.
*************can you please post that version?*******************
Definitely you should react to “Achilles Last Stand” by Led Zeppelin
RodDog That and In My Time of Dying are the ultimate Bonzo drum workouts.
Yes yes yes! The LIVE one from 1979
live:
ua-cam.com/video/YWOuzYvksRw/v-deo.html
Amen to that!
Bonzo was without mercy!!!
This may just be my all time favorite Dazed and Confused reaction...
Dude you could spend the next month solid doing the Mighty Zepp. Kashmir, When the Levee Breaks are MUSTS.
Levee babe I'm gonna leave and dazed and confused are my top 3
10 years Gone...
Custard Pie....All My Love....just way too many great tunes by the Mighty Zep!🎸🎤🎵
Wonton song, The Ocean, Good times bad times the list can go on forever. They are gods
"Why do I feel like I'm walkin' through a jungle...alone"
Still laughing
And this is why this is the best reaction channel on UA-cam. You seem like genuine ass dude. Much respect to you coach!
Check out king Ktf
I am jealous ...!!! Discovering Zeppelin for the first time. I was 13 sitting in my bedroom floor listening to the radio. Now that you have heard them , you need to hear the rest. !!! Enjoy my friend.
bring it on home. black dog. rock n roll. misty mountain top. good times bad times. ramble on.
there are honestly way too many good songs of zeppelins to name
John Bonham on drums Robert plant vocals. John Paul Jones on bass jimmy page on electric guitar
Congratulations you just opened pandoras box my dude....
Should check out "Traveling Riverside Blues".
Brandon Bayer
Shaq just scratched the surface with LED Zeppelin. He’ll come around. Only the best band in any genre EVER
A great reaction to a first exposure to Led Zeppelin - getting blown away is the only way one can react !
Warning!!! Zeppelin may cause boughts of unmitigated euphoria.
Peter Tea No, that was the Thai stick. 😁
"That noise " is a violin bow playing an electric guitar
YEAH MAN !!! Page may be the most inventive guitarist ever.
Omgggg this is exactly what I was thinking! I said to myself "if only this man knewwwww that was a freaking bow!" Jimmy I love you!
@@naimabk You need to watch it live. Bow is about shredded by the end.
Don't forget the theremin!
Can we get some Pink Floyd - Money 💰 love!
Anything off Darkside, would be good, But Time/Great Gig in the Sky, or Comfortably Numb live is a better introduction.
Been saying that for ages, no reaction channel has done it yet that I've seen.
Echoes. Long song but great music !🎶🎧🎵
One of the greatest debut albums of all time - Led Zeppelin! Your reaction was Priceless!
Gotta be The Doors, self titled too
Great reaction. Love how open minded you are.
Led Zep's "Stairway to Heaven" is considered ones of the best rock songs of all time. No shit. Of all time. Definitely check that one out.
Want more Led Zep? Okay.
Immigrant Song.
Whole Lotta Love.
Black Dog.
Ramble On.
Kashmir
Stairway to Heaven is to Led like
Bohemian Rhapsody is to Queen...best songs of all time.
Led Zeplin: a symphony of sound, story and emotion. Pure Rock Gods 🤟🤟
Your reaction to this reminds me why I love music !
Lol. His face when bonham throws down the crossover triplets coming out of the solo. Hilarious.
Bro it’s Robert Plant with the vocals. He’s the golden God of rock vocals!
well him and Lemmy.
My brother turn the lights down grab a joint and listen its AMAZING
For a real mindbend watch the live version from "The Song Remains The Same". Your jaw will be on the floor for the entire 30 minutes. .
Or off the BBC Sessions album..... Hell you forget what song is playing and don't even need acid to feel it.....
Thank you for your channel! I don't really have any friends I can share my love of music with. It's like I'm hanging out with you. Plus, you help break down racial barriers. I love you!!
Exactly✌💜
Hate comes from ignorance. An open mind recognises greatness when he sees, or in this case, hears it. Great reaction friend 👍
Yay Shaq! You got the Led out! Get your Zeppelin on! Kashmir, Whole Lotta Love, Stairway to Heaven.....❤️
Check out the 1969 live version! It will blow your mind!
It's in black and white but the quality is amazing, regardless.
And now you're a Zeppelin fan, brother. Enjoy.
This song started my life long love of all things Led Zeppelin 💋I melt every time I here them
That there is classic rockin' British Blues. Most of Zep's early material was deeply based in the blues. They added the Led.
That was the most pure and honest reaction I have seen. I recommend When The Levee Breaks and In My Time of Dying
React to Heartbreaker by Zeppelin. No one stopped a song in the middle of it to rip a nasty guitar solo before this song came out in 1969.
Listen to the soul in that voice!!! ROBERT PLANT KILLING IT!
You need to react to led Zeppelin "Immigrant song"
Since I've Been Loving You is a absolute masterpiece by Led Zeppelin. The drums are 🔥🔥🔥
If you like that blues sound, check out Zeppelin's bluesiest song - Since I've Been Loving You. Beautiful, soulful.
@@MrJibbin54 I agree. Just saying that it's rock that is very, very close to its blues roots.
Blues-Rock that takes you on a trip!
We've converted another one my brothers!
Indeed.............THAT'S TOUGH......THAT'S TUUUUFF
hehe
Praise be to the Church of Zeppelin

One millennial at a time. My granddaughter is next!
Free bird- Lynyrd Skynyrd, like it people, badaas reaction it would be
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Named after Leonard Skinner, their schools basketball coach.
Anything by Skynyrd is Fire 🔥
@Lewis Case Ya it's a pretty cool fact. My parents have a few video documentaries of their parents and school friends talking about it, you can probably find video of it on UA-cam.
Sound like yoda you do. Lol
LOL
"When is this going to stop? What the hell?"
And he's listening to the studio version, not a concert version!
30 fuckin minutes, like wtf 😂😂
And he ain't even listening to "Stairway" either!
You are not the only one who reacted this way the first time they heard Led Zepplin. Think I wore out their first album in a couple of weeks I played it so much. Your reaction was priceless BTW.
Who the eff gave this reaction a thumbs down?
Now that’s TOUGH! I feel sorry for those poor bast*rds
Some millennial emd listening punk
Best comment of the day!
The thumbs down are from the people that realise it wasnt the first time he'd really heard the song...
Yeah. .W.T.F.
Finally some Led Zeppelin 🤘🏽 you gotta check out No Quarter and Achilles Last Stand by them
Led zeppelin fans: everyone
Quite possibly THE greatest band in rock.
Agreed!
Not possibly but ABSOLUTELY the best rock band...EVER...PERIOD...END OF STORY!
Black Sabbath!!! Enough said
Black sabbath blows
Not when bands like Queen, Pink Floyd or The Who exist
"Ya'll know da rules" "You gotta warn me bout stuff like dat" LOL this dude is a Prince.
