This whole album has more of a blues groove to it than their latter albums. It helps you to understand how rock and roll is also called rhythm and blues.
Creativity at its finest. Hair metal tried to capture the front man and lead guitarist model. Totally missed on the drum, bass, and lyric piece. John Paul Jones is one of the most underrated musicians of all time. You should check out his bass work on the lemon song. Borrows some old blues lyrics
The most difficult and creative songs that doesn't get played as much is "Two sticks" . John Bonham actually had two sticks in each hand. John Paul said its the only song they would never do live because of its music difficulty.
Having grown up with Led Zeppelin and lucky enough to have seen them live four times, it is great to see people hearing these songs for the first time. Best Band Ever !!

Great reaction. As some have mentioned, the sounds during the middle were made by guitarist Jimmy Page using a bow on his guitar. These were truly 4 master musicians who, when combined, created perfection. If you are appreciative of the craftsmanship on the studio cuts, thank Jimmy Page; not only did he create the band and possess "Sensei" level guitar skills, he also produced all their albums and no recording went out without his approval. Now...if you want to see the ULTIMATE live version of this song, watch the video of it from their concert movie called The Song Remains The Same (it's the same concert where the live Stairway to Heaven footage came from). The video is 28 minutes long (yes indeed) but WORTH IT. It is like a mini concert all by itself. Back in the day, it wasn't unusual for Zep to play 3 hour concerts so a 20+ minute song performance was no big deal lol.

Ya "since I been loving you" Live always live there one of those that are actually better live This one dazed and confused sir Jimmy Page using the violin bow on electric guitar they are next to none greatest rock band ever!!
We are beginning of..1969 !! This piece has toppled the old rock sound in a new era .6.30 mn to create a new style of rock. Guitars , drums will never be the same after, nobody heard a sound like that, all kids were crazy by that time. So modern, timeless DZ, heavyness, savage solo, sex excitement, fantastic construction All hard rock and heavy groups were after inspired by DZ. Average old of the band :22years old.The king of drums Bonham is 20 years, singer Plant 20 ...incredible unbelievable stunning ....
Real raw talent, genuine musicianship, sound song writing and no auto tune, or vice overs. Have you heard Kashmir yet? Plant wrote it after a visit and his actual experience. They loved all kinds of music and put it into their songs: jaxx, blues, Bluegrass, folk and more! Keep listening!
I'm a 64 y/o white, and the soundtrack of my generation is the GREATEST. Chamber Brothers 2 Zeppelin, and everything in between, Led Zeppelin were four masters of their instruments.
One of things about the musicians of this band is that they didn't just play and sing to their songs, they were all an intricate part of it. Everything they played had purpose. There are a lot bands/songs that you could slip in a different drummer, bassist, guitarist and even vocalist in some cases and not even notice. Not so with any of their songs. Change one instrument part and the whole song dynamic changes. Which is why, when people cover them, it can be difficult to do it justice. (With the exception Anne and Nancy Wilson of Heart, because well, they're just amazing.)
You get a chance watch the video live and you'll be seeing him use a violin string on a guitar watching Led Zeppelin live they do a lot of wild stuff that lets you understand a very creative
They wrote the book on Rock&Blues! The GOATS! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Zeppelin has conquered all genres of music. They will never disappoint you! They live deep in the blues! Listen to...In my time of Dying!
The guitarist jimmy page produced all their albums. He started out as a studio musician so he knows all the tricks in the book when it comes to producing records in the studio.
Saw Zeppelin when I was 21. I'm now 72. They played Dazed and Confused and yes the almost Cello type sounds are Jimmy Page playing his guitar with a violin bow ( some of the bows hairs broke) and he was able to pick up the notes he played and " flick" them out into the open atmosphere of the venue. Never seen a band like them since.
Drummer John Bonham had a short ride with Led Zepplin before his death. His influence still felt today in the drumming world! Maybe the best rock and roll drummer to ever sit behind a kit!!
Led Zeppelin did the call and response so well with Robert Plant speaking to the guitars. It's black music but combined with the western traditions as well.
Jimmy on the guitar with a violin bow. That man is a genius. You should listen to their live version of Kashmir from the 02 Arena reunion concert 👍🏾👵🏿🎶🤗
Check out their How many more times live from 1969 one of their first ever appearances and it was also broadcast live over the radio so the crowd was quite but they had no clue about this new band IMO.I seen them in 1970 and they played all of Zeppelin 1 & 2 two and a half hours of nonstop rock
Zep was probably the best band ever at the build up to face melting section of their songs. Keep it kind of sorta mellow for a while then they give you a slight warning(violin part in this instance) then please hold on to the bar! Zep = GOAT!
You two should watch the DVD concert called Celebration Day by this group . This was actually a lottery concert held in London. Keep in mind the group is a lot older (2007) one more thing..The drummer is the son of the deceased (John Bonham). It's a great show
At 7:08 girl had her first eargasm!!! It's okay a mind bending face-melting guitar solo will do that to you!! Jimmy Page is the guitarist and he popped your ear cherry!!! 🤣🤣🤣
You gotta check out their song 'The Lemon Song.' Not just because it's a great song but because it's also Zeppelin's way of giving a nod and a wink (respect) to their biggest influence, Blues God - Robert Johnson. Then, after listening to 'The Lemon Song' you have to listen to Robert Johnson's song 'Traveling Riverside Blues' (written in the 30s) to understand how Zeppelin's giving him props.

Ya "since I been loving you"
Live always live there one of those that are actually better live
This one dazed and confused sir Jimmy Page using the violin bow on electric guitar they are next to none greatest rock band ever!!
We are beginning of..1969 !! This piece has toppled the old rock sound in a new era .6.30 mn to create a new style of rock. Guitars , drums will never be the same after, nobody heard a sound like that, all kids were crazy by that time. So modern, timeless DZ, heavyness, savage solo, sex excitement, fantastic construction
All hard rock and heavy groups were after inspired by DZ.
Fire Reaction & Led Zeppelin are Legends! THX’s ♥️ yawl!
I'm a 64 y/o white, and the soundtrack of my generation is the GREATEST. Chamber Brothers 2 Zeppelin, and everything in between, Led Zeppelin were four masters of their instruments.
I'm 60, so loved Zepp, learned alot from Bonham, try the Song Remains The Same version. It's crazy, love it.
This was baby-making music back in the day for the "heads". 🤘
Kudos to you both, finally who did this song a short but correct description.
Drummer John Bonham had a short ride with Led Zepplin before his death. His influence still felt today in the drumming world! Maybe the best rock and roll drummer to ever sit behind a kit!!
Watching these guys in concert would have been like staring at the gods of music ... pretty sure it changed everyones lives
That's just Base, Drums Guitar, and a Singer. It's just Genius, and that's why it's sooooo good.
Love you guys reaction to this great song from a legendary band!!! Rock on guys!!!
Led Zeppelin did the call and response so well with Robert Plant speaking to the guitars. It's black music but combined with the western traditions as well.
He dazed and confused by his woman whose soul was “created below”…she’s in her ho phase…but he can’t let her go
“Since I been loving you” is next! And then you’re off in the rabbit hole.💪❤️
Oh yeah!!
Led Zeppelin...Deep in the Message and the Music...always a trip with their Tunes! 😎
My favorite band of all time. They were one of the most influential for other from other artists like Queen to hip-hop.
All that amazing guitar work but then the greatest drummer of them all caps it off!
