I got the Rex around a year ago and it's in my top 3 razors. So efficient (even on lower numbers) and the grip on the handle is the best I've seen/used on any razor. And to top it off it looks stunning.
FYI, on Amazon right now, the Rex Ambassador is $229, I first saw it at $250 but when it went on sale for $219 it became mine. I just received mine last night and haven't used it yet . It is beautifully made. Oh, I'm glad you're better.

Damn good razor glad I bought one. Did try to order a Rockwell Model T but got fed up with the delays, excuses after a eight month wait I cancelled my order with Rockwell and got my Rex and never looked back that Stirling Soap I have and it is a delite nice video & shave.

Hey Chris just checked out this old vid with the Rex Ambassador. Let me ask have you ever tried a Denali adjustable razor? It's a carbon copy of the Rex Ambassador but smoother and more comfortable. If you can get a hold of one and do a vid that would be great. Have a nice day Chris.
@@IAMCDB oh, you will be pleasantly surprised. I can't think of a smoother razor. I'm surprised this razor isn't mentioned at all in the wet shaving groups.

So, how does it rate against the Merkur Futur? I see that the closed and comb top cap and angles of attack are similar (toe in both corners) besides materials and design...shavewise is it worth the two and a half Bennies?

I want to buy an adjustable DE Razor and I am looking at the Parker Variant and the Rex Ambassador, the Parker costs £50 and the Rex costs £185, is the Rex worth the extra £135 over the Parker, is it that much better, Lastly, do you find the shaving angle more easy on the Rex or the Parker, Thanks.

Do you find that the adjustment indicator is a little hard to see? Though the razor does shave well and the aforementioned is my only gripe.
I don't find it too difficult but it's not quite as pronounced as some I guess.

Go with the Parker. I have them both and there is NO difference... I actually get better shave with my Parker Variant. save £135.
