Awesome, my heart is singing every time you visit these amazing growers. I am a plant mom to around hundred of different species and I find plants the most fascinating. Thank you for doing so much for the plant community. 💚
I’m in Heaven from watching these two video documentaries on the beautiful variety of plants growing in the Thailand “Disneyland”. If my life was different I would be finding these places and visiting them all over the world. Thanks for bringing such lovely wonder into our homes.
Your message is so strong, I find very difficult to express how much gratitude we own you. I've always been around plants, watching and reading your content made my connection even deeper and I feel more comfortable about it
The largest collection of bromeliads I have seen in all my 35 years. I feel good when I see it. My chest hurts after seeing this. Congratulations to this gentleman.❤
It's always fun to watch how the same familiar plant is grown in other parts of the globe where the climate is different than yours. It's great to see a video where the native habitat is mentioned. That makes me better understand the needs of the plant.
Anders Lindstrom is very impressive! It seems he knows the Latin name of every plant they possess and can recall it without effort. High five to him; I'm in awe. I was also impressed with his plant finding technique, on some occasions at least - "Pee Stop Finds" are a new plant collection idea on me!
I literally live for Summer's Plant Tours! Love these plant Guru's! Great to see how other places, countries do things to grow their plants. So much to see & learn for us plant Nerds
WOW! What a great video!! I stumbled on this by accident and enjoyed every second! The host was super knowledgeable and you asked great questions. I'll definitely be looking for more of your videos. Thanks for your great work! :)
What an AWESOME tour! I love how tactile you are Summer. I do that too. It is like you are introducing yourself to the plant. What a wonderful greeting!
The large Aechmea species is by far the best bromeliad. They grow tall, have the best flowers, are the most hardy to cold and sun and have beautiful leaves.
The wall of T. usneoides is amazing. I had a nice specimen that flowered for me indoors. It went back to Florida to live under the Live Oak at my parent's house. Plan to bring home another plant from my visit this winter. Love all the interesting patterns on the various bromeliad species and cultivars. Great video tour!
What a vast and amazing collection. Interesting to see the Billbergia in their perforated clay pots ~ I've never seen this before and am guessing it's for added aeration of the roots.
Woh! Beautiful collections. Always a pleasure to watch your videos. I didn't know that bromeliads are so colorful. I would just grow them for thoses leaves.
❤️❤️❤️ From the Philippines 🇵🇭! Very value-adding content as always. 🙂 Love the private collection, gelt like a VIP access. Would be great to visit Nong Nooch when I visit 🇹🇭
I definitely appreciate conservation efforts!! I think it's great to see how much they're trying to preserve on their own, even in a place that isn't like, set up to be dry. I def would have a concern about keeping like, potentially invasive stuff fully outside. Better to keep your like, kalanchoes inside, even if they're endangered
I recommend Billbergia nutans - Queen's Tears. It's quite easy, more delicate looking than most, and very floriferous! But that doesn't mean don't buy lots of others ...
i love the drilled out terra cotta pots. orchid pots or other pots with lots of drainage arent available here (unless you ship them in from the USA), but terra cotta is everywhere and cheap!

I've come back to this video and now have watch 30 minutes of it and it gets much better . It's not about the care of bromeliads it's just about how hard it is maybe to grow bromeliads as a mass planting in a hot climate in the Sun ... Not sure I'm going to watch all those 50 minutes I'm sorry summer I was too quick to quit watching and commenting on this video... I usually enjoy summers video but this video takes a while to understand where it's going... I don't know that much about bromeliads so my expectations or different than what this video was about.

Summer Raine i hope you took my comment as a positive and not a negative... I am a plant person and really enjoy being able to see plants I can't see in person. I'm limited in what I can go out and see in person. Even on my own channel I choose to show my plants instead of me because it's not about me it's about my plants. I have no problem with you appearing on screen whenever you do your videos when you're talkin about things and you have your table set up in front of you cuz I can see all your plants. But since I'm not watching it on a big screen TV I kind of wish that there were more close-ups of the plants you're talkin about. I don't know how many people aren't able to watch on a computer screen or a big screen TV so maybe I'm in the minority when I speak about this. I mean no harm or criticism when I make this suggestion. But in your video there wasn't much close up of the plants by the person holding the camera it was more panting the group of bromeliads rather than focusing on one or two so you really could get a feel for more than a few seconds of what the plant was really like. Maybe it's jealousy because I wasn't there to look at all those things in person tee hee. I love your videos
Hi Kathleen, I respect your comment. Not all my videos are for everyone. What I like about UA-cam is the longer format, however. I would have been doing my host and Nong Nooch a great disservice if I didn’t show the scope and scale of their operation too while still showing their plants. Even though this was 47 minutes long, it covers about 35 plants, or one every 75 seconds; and we try to go in depth into each one. I know most people will never get an opportunity to see a place like this, to see a large scale operation of Tillandsia and bromeliad Propagation, of the creative ways to display, the hardships some plants face and what they look like when they get too much sun, for instance, and sometimes that means not always showing a close up collage on plants. I think places like Instagram are better for getting quick Plant fixes, but I want to help tell the human story as well-at least on this channel. Additionally, though I wish I had the budget for two camera people, I don’t, so we don’t always get adequate close ups. We were dealing with a camera on the fritz with the heat, audio hiccups, and heat that was unbearable to my camera person but he was such a good sport. Though I think people think these are high budget excursions. They aren’t. It’s just two of us trying to put out beautiful content on plants and the people who love them.
