The HJC i10 helmet is an ideal entry-level lid with features usually reserved for fancier helmets. The i10’s lightweight polycarbonate shell is strong and aerodynamic, CAD-tuned for optimum performance. Inside, you’ll find a multi-density EPS liner and SuperCool® moisture-wicking materials. Additional features include glasses grooves, ample ventilation, HJC’s RapidFire™ shield replacement system, and a Bluetooth-ready design. I received my i10 last night and took it for a test drive. I bought it specifically because i live in Florida and it's hot (98). It is very light, comfy and the vents are unbelievable! It felt like it had ac. It was a perfect fit and yes true to size and snug. I absolutely love this helmet.
I have a black i10 with the 10b Bluetooth system and I have to say on my 1100 shadow it's absolutely amazing and quiet!
My first helmet and loving it, even after a year. Have the i10 fear in black and red. Great video
Best helmet I've had. Had one for 2 years. Shopping for a new one now. Considering buying another i10.
New i10, red & black. I've been enjoying it. It's somewhat "heavy " but I guess I need to build up my neck muscles. It's super secure & comfortable. My first ever moto helmet & I'm pleased, especially with the price tag of 175. The air vents are nice and do provide a really nice flow, I have no problem wearing this thing for long periods of time. I have a full field of view.
I just ordered one. Can't wait for it to arrive.
How has it been?
I bought one in high vis green, it took a while for the cheek pads to conform to my face and in the meantime it was hard to take on and off and was uncomfortable, now that its broken in I like it, it was a great buy for $150.
Does the snaps stay attached when removing helmet? I've heard issues where the snap would snap off when taking the helmet off..
I have the white in an xl. I find it quite comfortable even with my sunglasses on. And with the snell 2020 rating at this price point is rare.

Hjc I-10 or the scorpion exo r-2000, for general riding conditions. I know the scorpion is an older model but there’s still some available

Is there a chin scarf or breath deflector? Also wondering if the face shield provides UV protection?..do eyeglasses fit comfortably?

Hello i hope you will notice me. What you recommend for me on these hjc helmets that has a round inner shape?
does the shell have good impact resistance because its polycarbonate ? it saids "advanced" poly carbonate what does that mean?
So is the medium the smaller or larger shell?
I measure exactly a medium at 57cm and hjc and scorpion the right back of my head digs into the liner and feels like someone is pressing in on my head so have to go to a large which feels good but I’m afraid gonna feel loose over time ?

Does it come with covers for speaker cutouts for when you don't want a comms system?
This helmet does not, the cutouts are just slight depressions in the cheek pads by the ears, not a piece that typically requires filling when a comm system is not used.

I've been having trouble finding Darker face shields for my I10. Are they interchangeable with other models?
Yes the HJ-31 face shields fit this model too

It's worth it to adjust my budget then buy agv k1 or I could just stick into this snell certified hjc i10 helmet? Also, please let me know their difference. Thank you.
I would suggest the HJC i10 in this price point, as it is Snell certified, not much heavier over the K1, and overall a great bang for the buck.
The K1 is a more stylish helmet, to be frank, but I think riding daily with the HJC would be more enjoyable.

Looking for a smoke visor for this model i10?
Bought 5 as a need one for the laddieees! And 4 for what time of the year or gear I am wearing. Sena did a great job with there system and I love the helmet. My forhead is a little more oval, but with a little adjustment, it works great. Love the helmet

Is this helmet ok to use with a cruiser?
yes, full face helmets provide more protection than 3/4 or half helmets

Is there any wind noise in this helmets at highway speeds ?
Yes, all helmets have wind noise on the highway but ear plugs will help reduce that and allow you to concentrate on noise from traffic to stay safe.
What's the order of safety standards? Dot is the worst but what's the rest ?
3rd place: dot
2nd place: snell/ece (track certified)
1st place: fim (too new but will be cert of the future)
is this helmet compatible with a Cardo Packtalk Bold?
The Packtalk Bold is a universal comm unit, so it will work with all full face helmets on the market. Might require some thinking when connecting it up, but you should be good to go.
How is the Sonar version of this helmet different?
The Sonar is just the name of the graphic on top of the i10.
anyone wear this helmet with prescription glasses? I was thinking of picking it up but i don't want any annoyance when i wear my glasses
I do. There is a bit of a gap between the top pads and the cheek pads. Works fine.

Single visor only right?
The 3xl size isn't snell rated. Do you know why?
HJC does that with a few of their helmet models usually because they don't sell enough of the 3XL shell to justify SNELL certification as each shell has to be tested and paid for. Might be a better question to HJC directly as to why or if they should do it moving forward though. We've always seen it as a negative in our opinions.

I don’t understand how HJC is going to call this a replacement for the CL-17 if they’re not going to offer 4XL and 5XL anymore. Guess my giant 4XL head will have to shop elsewhere after my new CL-17 is thru
The sizing of the hjc i10 is bigger than the cl17 a 4xl cl17 is close to 3xl of an i10
@@Anthomra It turns out that the i10 does in fact come in 4 & 5XL in the matte black colour. I just got a 4XL and it fits great.
