Built to replace the CL-17, one of HJC’s best sellers, the i10 is bringing a new level of performance to the HJC lineup. The compact, modern design allows you to take to the streets in style, while still maintaining an accessible price point for the everyday rider. Improved ventilation from new intakes and exhausts increases airflow while maintenance is made easy with simple, snap-on top vents. The i10 is Bluetooth compatible with SmartHJC(Bluetooth system sold separately), available in sizes XS-3XL standard DOT & SNELL approved. (3XL: DOT only)

I bought 5 of these, one for the laaaadieeees and 4 for the change of the weather or gear for the day. Love the helmet and Sena also did a great job with the sound. Perfect helmet for me.
This is an excellent price point helmet for sure. - Van
Best product reviews on youtube 💪
Appreciate that! - Van
Great video! I just bought one with a Sena 10s. And it's a great helmet for the money. Very comfy. Keep up the great videos.
A whole lot of helmet for not a lot of money. Thanks for watching! - Van
Archer Official hey buddy, how’s the noise on the interior? Is it really bad or good?
Thanks for this great review. I think that I'll get this helmet.
You are welcome and thanks for watching! - Van
Until last week when i ordered a Ruroc 4.0 this has been my primary helmet for the last 2 years. It's definitely served me well. I did make some modifications to improve creature comfort. I clipped my D-rings and installed a Ryde Wear quick release, Chin curtain & pinlock.
You got a Ruroc? That's a downgrade, dude...... just saying.
@@tonykartracer8032 That's your opinion which I didn't ask for TYVM
I have never personally seen a Ruroc. - Van
I personally use the HJC i10 and I really like it. I previously used the HJC CSR3. I find the i10 to fit very similarly. Its vents work really good, and I like the stop positions for the visor. Overall for the price point its a very comfortable helmet and I feel safer knowing its Snell approved.
Thanks for sharing your experience with this helmet. I have not ridden in it but really liked what I saw a lot. - Van
Does the snaps stay attached when removing the helmet? I've read somewhere that the snaps would snap off when taking of the helmet.
@@Jethrospect I've never had a problem with the snaps coming off. As long as they're properly secured it should hold up well
@@sportbiketrackgear hi. No chin curtain in i10?

HJC HJ-31 Pinlock Ready Shield
www.sportbiketrackgear.com/hjc-hj-31-pinlock-ready-shield/ - Van
Does the i10 fit like the bell qualifier? Been using bell qualifier as I have a weird head shape thats looks like a box from the view. My concern is the two pressure point on the top part back of my head. Thanks in advance!
It sounds like you may be more long oval than intermediate oval. Odds are you will need to try some helmets on to find one that fits you well. - Van
I previously had a scorpion exo R420 that I’ve recently dropped. And was looking at getting this one mainly for the color scheme. I have a hyper naked zh2. And was wondering if it’s a good helmet for a more upright. And if there’s much difference between my old one and this one.
Thanks again.
This helmet will be pretty comparable to the R420 with the R420 perhaps being just a little nicer as it should be given the price difference. IMO this helmet will perform well on an upright bike or a sportbike where you spend some time in a tuck. - Van
Brian Im in a bind, I bought a schuberth but its not comfortable and doesnt sit right on my face, I havent been able to decide on a 200$-ish helmet, was looking at the airmada, the hjc i10, and a few others, but would love your recomendation on what you think the best bang for your buck around 150-220$ USD full face is, or if you have a video covering this a link would be great!
We do have a video on that. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/iHRvWbvxG20/v-deo.html
Hi, my head is 60cm intermediate oval. Should I go with L or XL? it would be my first helmet ever, so no thoughts on other helmets at all! Thanks
I would go for the large. The most common mistake most new riders make is buying a helmet one size too large. - Van
Thanks for the awesome reviews. Very detailed and that's why I search out STG videos. I am torn on helmets as well...Here is what I have so far...
HJC i10 Fear (hi vis, white and black)
Scorpion EXO T-510 (white and silver...room for coms system?)
Bell RS2 Rally (hi vis)
What say you?
I say they are all good but different. The Scorpion and the Bell both have a drop down inner shield which makes them a very different helmet as compared to one without a drop down inner shield. The HJC will vent a little better and have a slightly better field of vision in a tuck. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear I tried the Bell Qualifier DLX MIPS and it feels cheap and the shield did not have a good tight fit it seems. I am torn now between the i10 and the HJC CS-R3. The i10 is newer if im not mistaken. Better to go with that over the R3?
i measure just around 59cm. Should I go for size Large? I've been choosing between this and the i70 and the only major difference is the internal visor, am I correct?
I would go with a large at 59cm. You are correct the main difference between the 2 models mentioned is the drop down inner shield. Both are excellent choices IMO. - Van
Where can I find a tinted visor for this model? Thanks in advance if you know
Here is a link to the tinted shields for this helmet on our site: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/hjc-hj-31-pinlock-ready-shield/
what does advanced polycarbonate composite shell mean? is this as impact resistance and strong as fiberglass?
It is a plastic shell. When it comes to safety this helmet passes the same test the fiberglass models pass so you can expect a solid level of protection. Fit is the most important thing where safety is concerned. To be fair you can expect better performance and a bit more safety from a more expensive helmet. More performance than safety. - Van
thank you!
You're welcome!
@@sportbiketrackgear I'm thinking buy i10 or C70. Which one better for normal daily using?
Hjc I-10 or the scorpion exo r-2000, for general riding conditions. I know the scorpion is an older model but there’s still some available
The EXO-R2000 is a better helmet for sure. - Van
I followed the link and the features list is talking about CL-17 not the I 10. Can you update that part?
We will get that updated. Thanks for the heads up. - Van
Van, i have a addiction. I bought 2 helmets this year and 2 last year. Now im buying as many jackets as well lol. Is this whats like to have a 2 wheel obsession? Oh my question is can i open a tab at your store 😜 jk. Thanks for the reviews, help me a lot with my purchases.
You are welcome of the videos and thank you for all the support! - Van
Hey van. Would you call that rear vent a spoiler or is it just simply a vent?
Most manufacturers will incorporate a vent in the rear spoiler used to tune the aerodynamics of the helmet. - Van
So it comes with the Bluetooth device or is it sold separate?
The bluetooth device is sold separately. - Van
Is this helmet good for upright riding? How is the visual throughly the shield? Between this HRC I10 and the Bell SRT which one is better?
Visibility will be good for either of the helmets. Both are solid options, the Bell SRT costs a little more and is a little nicer. The shield on the SRT is the same one Bell uses on their more expensive Star helmets which is a plus. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear I have a little over a 58cm head shape sizes so which size would you recommend I go with? Would a large be to big or a med to small and hurt my head? Van thank you for your time and response.
Hi Van, so which is better HJC i10 or i70? Thanks
I prefer to have a full face with no drop down so I would go with the i10. This is an excellent helmet that sells for a fair price. - Van
Does the i10 have different color visors?
Yes there are several color options for the i10 shields. Here is a link to them on our site: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/hjc-hj-31-pinlock-ready-shield/
Is the chin curtain and breath deflector necessary ? thanks
I remove them from all of the helmets I ride in. - Van
Bro Its Same As I70... No Chin Curtain🙄
which one is good i10/i70
I personally prefer the full face i10 without the drop down inner shield. That is a feature I do not typically use myself as the optics are never as good as looking through just one shield. - Van
STG let me know your opinion which is the best for daily city driving, hjc i10 or hjc i70? Thank you!!
I like the i10 better myself but both are good helmets. If you want the drop down inner go with the i70. The i10 is the way to go if the drop down inner shield is not something you plan to use. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear thank you sir van, sad to say we don't have a size medium in the PH, but still get an i10 thank you for your recommendation 💯❤️

does the i10 and i70 lens da same?
Yes they both use the HJ-31 shield. - Van
would you go with a large if i have a right on 59cm head shape size? And would you prefer an i10 with snell certification or a rapha 11 pro with ECE certification on a track day? thanks and good job on your videos, well done!
I would go for the RPHA 11 Pro over the i10 for a track helmet. At 59cm you will be at the top of the large range and should get a good fit in either the i10 or RPHA 11 Pro. - Van
I just bought mine, is this good for highway driving?
This helmet will get the job done for sure. - Van
Safety wise, would you choose this over the RPHA11 and RPHA70?
The RPHA 11 Pro is a solid helmet as well with an ECE cert. IMO each of these helmets has the ability to protect the rider in the event of a crash. Remember proper fit is the key to performance and protection. - Van
this or scorpion r420 or f70 ? I'm going to buy gear before I buy my first bike , because I know for sure I will ride either way If i got gear or not :), thank you so much for your videos , I enjoy watching them I learn a lot of things about riding from you, you got an amazing site and youtube channel Sir.
I really like HJC now. I used to avoid them. I wore Scorpion for a long time then I moved to Suomy. HJC is now my helmet of choice.
C j hcj looks great but the only helmets that has snell 2015 are f70 and the r420 , so is hjc woeth the price difference ? Since my budget is extremely tight atm and I want to get the best thing i can afford
Thank you guys
Thanks for watching and the kind words! IMO this is one of the best price point helmets available at this time. Personally I prefer this over the F70, it offers a better fit IMO. Between this and the Scorpion 420 I would say go with the one you like the looks of the most and they are both good lids. If you plan to add a bluetooth device to the helmet remember the HJC has the new Sena Smart HJC 10B that integrates directly with this helmet and sells for $139. - Van
My head size is 53 and a half should i get a S or XS?
You should go with the XS. - Van
I’m between the i10 and the i70. I like the idea of the sun shield on the i70 so I’m leaning more towards that one. My question- is the i70 compatible with the 10b Bluetooth headset? If not I’ll probably go with the i10. Thanks
The i70 is not compatible with the Sena direct fit model like the i10. You could still install a universal unit with the i70 if you like. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear ok thanks for the reply
Nice vid. Is it the same size with hjc cs15?
I have not tired on the CS15 sorry. - Van
Im sorry. Its CS-R3
@@jhayzeemtb It fits almost the same. I used the CSR3 first then got the i10. As soon as i tried the i10 on it felt very familiar and comfortable
Just bought mine. Ill let yall know. How it goes, i commute about 80 miles a day so i pretty much live inside my helmet 😅
For sure let us know what you think of the helmet after you put some miles on with it. - Van
Does the snaps stay attached when removing the helmet? I've read somewhere that snaps snap off when taking the helmet off..
update? @rockabilly rambler?
Which is better? Hjc i10 or agv k1?
The i10 is a solid helmet and a better value. Hard to compare it head to head with the K1 which is significantly more expensive. If you can swing the difference in price odds are you will like the K1 better. - Van
What are those shoes at 0:09 ?
Those are the Sidi Mag-1 Boots. You can find them on our site using this link: www.sportbiketrackgear.com/sidi-road-race-boots/ - Van
which is the best i10 or c70 thanks
If I am choosing between them I would go with the i10. - Van
Making this decision now, sitting in my local bike shop parking lot watching reviews.
Thanks
torn between i10 and k1 XD what do you think is better? please help
I think the K1 is much more expensive and a better helmet as it should be. That said the i10 is an excellent value. - Van
Just bought a hjc strix for longer rides not a fan of helmets but you just never know what could happen
No one likes wearing a helmet until they fall off. I know some people who wish they were wearing a helmet when they fell. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear Have you ever been hit by a June bug in the face at 70 mph ? There are other benefits besides a fall.
Can not find this model in Europe, not safe enough? Not tested by Sharp yet, I would go for a five star tested helmet. Check Sharp. There are budget helmets with a five out of five star, realy expensive helmets such as Shoie that only have three stars
Sharp testing is not 100% reliable. This is essentially a reboot of the UK's BSI helmet cert after they adopted the ECE cert. If you do a little research you will find they are not using the proper head forms which makes the test results very hard to trust. - Van
So I got one of these in size xxl.. It's to tight sadly.. Pushes on my forehead and my cheaks. Thought it would wear in but it doesn't.
Is there any helmets very similar to this one thats just a tad larger in the same price range?
If you are having fitment issues I would suggest going to a shop and trying helmets on to find one that fits. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear Thanks Van.
Problem is I'm in New Zealand.. And I tried to do just that. We have about 7 bike shops where I live (2 that only sells gear) and only 1 of them had a helmet in xxl..
The I70 xxl is nearly there. Like very close. It comes on and feels good. But if I'm riding for over 30 minutes my cheeks starts hurting.
Hi. C70 or i10? Thank you
I personally prefer the i10 and I do not use the drop down inner shield. You will get more ventilation and a slightly better field of vision with the i10 as compared to the C70. - Van
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with me. Will buy one this weekend for my husband. More power to your channel, Van.
Why no chin curtain?
Must have saved some production cost. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear Can we buy chin curtain separately for this helmet?
this or LS2 Challenger?
