    My name is Erich and I live in Italy welcome to my channel. I used to play golf on and off for many years, but I started my journey again about 8 years ago, changing my swing completely.
    My goal is to become a single figure handicap golfer in the near future.
    To achieve this goal, I built my own backyard putting green and set up a backyard golf net. I love playing in my backyard green, doing drills, club reviews and playing at the range and at the course to get better at the game and ultimately reach my goal (hopefully).

    I play with prov1s I found in the bush. A balanced ball is the least of my problems 😆😆

      I normally don't complain either if I find premium balls, in fact I'm planning a night out to get some lost golf balls, a good way to save money to be honest....

    I would love to see someone run a test on the Iron Byron with the unbalanced vs balanced balls to see how much if any difference there is. I personally don't think an unbalanced ball would make a significant difference on the putting surface or the air unless the ball is way out of spec. There is just way too many variables that come into play.

      I’m starting to think the same, it seems that a bit deal, but there is no way it can cause a big slice or hook, I would be just curious to see a robot testing though.

    Thanks for the shout out buddy. Sorry i didnt see this sooner. Its crazy how bad some of these balls can be. I think for tournament play you gotta test them to be certain your giving yourself the best chances. Even if its just a mental edge.

      Yeah I couldn’t believe that only 5 were good on my favorite brand…not sure if it really makes that huge of a difference though, someone commented here that the difference is very minimal 🤷🏻‍♂️

      ua-cam.com/video/YsYYnMqZrFs/v-deo.html i would watch this video from gabe. And maybe try and test those results. When we tested bad balls vs good balls on course we didnt see a real difference except we couldnt get a bad ball to drop.

    Hey Erich, not sure if you've seen this video but it illustrates clearly how important a balanced ball is for putting. I'm not entirely sure how much effect an unbalanced ball would have on a tee shot, but putting one does in fact have a marked effect. Also just want to congratulate you on how fast your game has turned around ad achieving such a low handicap from your start. It's such a roller coaster of emotional and mental highs and lows. One again, congrats Golf Ball Accuracy - ua-cam.com/video/LSaXM5o2mR0/v-deo.html

    Obviously it's a very accurate test however the margin in real world terms could be mynute. The core could be misaligned by 100ths of a millimetre. Are you going to notice that in ball flight? Maybe cutting the ball in half (top to bottom) you may see the core off centre? Or it may not even be visible to the human eye.

    U can also test by dropping the ball from a slide or track .. that will give u consistent rolls..

      You would have to balance a ball first to have a control though

      @@connorbaker5783 How would you balance a ball? I was thinking about those roll rail systems where you drop the golf ball at one exact point

    • @connorbaker5783
      @connorbaker5783 2 роки тому +1

      @@thebackyardgolfer7010 Exactly how you are doing it in the video. At least one of the balls would have to be tested in order to compare the other ones to it to see if there is any difference in its path when rolled. If the balanced ball went on the same path consistently then you could determine of other balls rolled were not in balance.
