So am i correct in assuming if ball comes to rest on the same spot that the light side is uppermost and heavyside is at the other pole of the ball, you can then draw a line on this spot and use this for putting so it rolls end over end from light to heavy side. Also am i also correct in assuming if ball comes to rest in a different spot each time you spin the ball then that ball is perfectly balanced. Finally if using to hit ball on a tee then the line should be facing your intended target.
I love the content. You may want to check the weight of your “10 mg” of lead tape. Standard lead tape would only require a 2.5 mm x 2.5 mm piece of lead tape.
Great video! Thanks! One thing though, the salt/water solution in the vid needs to be diluted to where the entire ball is just barely submerged. The top of the ball is floating above the surface of the water in your vid making your results less accurate than they could be. Water has surface tension so the ball needs to be below the surface to eliminate that variable from the equation. Also buoyant forces don't work on any mass above the surface so it's throwing off your true balance point.

I'm confused (perhaps so are you) if floating a golf ball allows you to "pin point" a dot on the ball...the horizontal and vertical "axis" can be anywhere...if you suggest that "point/dot" be placed face up on the tee or green - great...or suggesting some other positional facing, fine. Just don't suggest the "axis" be horizontal or vertical, cuz there is no way to determine that information from the "floating" info. As far as the "spinners" go....take a ball and spin it once (make a mark) take it out and put it back in and spin it again (make a mark)...do it twice more and see how "accurate" those marks are...the TV commercial only suggest doing this once, as if, the results are 100% correct (lol) Marketing, lmao.
@jimbeglinger the axis can be determined from the dot. It’s any horizon line that goes through the dot to ensure end over end rolling. This is taking for granted that the cores are spherical

You need to add dishwashing soap to the mixture to break surface tension. The average guy won't benefit from all of this.
