I have since two months signed up on the Malaska M System. This is by far the best golf teaching that I have come across during my 30 years of playing the game. It will make you to a player, not only a golfer
This is what I needed to see. On video I see that shoulder move is exactly what I do. I plan on working on that simple step down hands down move ASAP. Thanks 👍🏻
Watching pro iron swings down-the-line (esp. Woods, Garcia, Fleetwood) always presents me with a perceptual conundrum. I expect the hands to move out more than they do given that the shoulders are rotating around the spine on the plane they came back on. But the hands appear to drop almost vertically as the club shaft maintains that ‘4 30’ position momentarily. I think this is a key move in a successful golf swing.
Yep! Even a teacher needs a teacher! It is always good to have someone knowledgeable standing beside you and helping your swing. Why God didn't create us with 2 pairs of eye! lol
Your dear friend Jim Flick always said swing the arms and the body will follow, I watched you in that video crush several 5 irons with the greatest of ease. Just watch yourself in the vid and refresh your swing. I'd still take your worst over mine any day!!
Isn't allowing the arms to drop downward the same feel as starting to point the right shoulder down at the ball? Or, trying to keep the hands close to the body? Or, driving the left hip backwards? All of these things are going to produce the same motion but the question remains, which one is easier to groove unconsciously?
Malaska, what are your thoughts on Mike Austins fundamentals/teachings? For those who don't know, he holds the PGA record for the longest drive at 515 yards at the age of 64.
Feel and real are difficult to master even for pga your pros. That’s why they need coaches. Brooks Koepka couldn’t even line his feet up straight yesterday and needed to make adjustments on the range.
"We teach it all day long then when get ourselves on camera and we are doing the same things our students are doing." There is a simple reason for that. You and the student are both focused on the same thing.
As the saying goes...."You can never learn less...you can always learn more" Humility is always the first step to improvement.
Bravo Mr. Mike ! 👏👏😊👍🇨🇦
Whoaawh!!! Mike!...I salute you!! How courageous to let us learn through your learning. Super!!!

Jimmy, is it really different than the videos Mike post here?
@@xNecrosiss Yes, it is more comprehensive, I can recommend it
What a modest guy. Great video.
Priceless!!! Fundamentals ARE key!!! Thank you Mike ❤️

Glad to see you getting excellent advice.
I have the same problem Mike , thanks for your help .
Excellent. This is exactly what I'm working on. Also thinking at the Justin Rose pre-shot routine helps a lot.
Your best video yet Mike, thank you
A fascinating variation on Harvey Pennick’s ‘Magic Move’. Great teaching never grows old…..
Amazing lesson!
I don’t know whether it is easy or difficult to teach Malaska the great, but it is surely interesting to watch 🙏🙏🙏
Wow. Thank You
one of your best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Mike, like your work and dedication to the sport !
Very good instruction. I fight this everyday.
Good lesson about dropping the hands slightly.
Excellent!!!

How would I hit an outside low pitch? It’s the perfect swing thought

Its called the "fall in"! Mike you needed more of it!
You demoed the solution just like you teach, great way to show us hard to teach smashers!
"hands down, club out" you have been teaching that for years
Clever Mike
I'm 2:30 in and very intrigued. The first thing he tells him is he needs to get rid of the "Malaska Move"! This could get interesting...
No he doesn’t. He is actually pointing out that Mike isn’t dropping hands and tipping club out.
Very interesting that a master teacher like Mike admits that even he can't teach himself or doesn't know when a swing fault creeps in.
There are no "faults". There is lack of focus on the proper task.
@@JeffPassageCPA What is your task?
@@JeffPassageCPA There it is. You said it. Your focus was to “hit the ball”. Your body reacts to that task perfectly since you hit the ball.
ua-cam.com/video/r6VLvsjN9_8/v-deo.html This will explain it.

Where can I buy the "SWING LOOP" that I see in the background?

"Face catch up to your sternum" please elaborate, thanks
Isn’t it funny how every golfer starts a lesson by saying “I’m not really warmed up yet, so these first few may be bad”.
Another classic at the first tee.. Watch out guys, I have no idea where this is going to go.
I really thought that Mike was just pretending. Maybe he was because he is just too good of a teacher:-)

Another great lesson but I'm old, turn up the mike Mike🤫
The shoemaker with holes in his shoes
Tip the shaft Mike.
Swing is too short because your feet are too square...open your right foot to complete your swing
LOL
Mike never gets behind the ball so he can’t stay there
Is Mike just pretending here?
