So saddening. Loss of a little girl to some predator like this gym teacher who said he dropped her off in a remote location. Thats the one to look at.
Seriously? Did this "coach" have friends in the PD by any chance? Couldn't have done it because he was praying in the woods for five hours? Maybe it would be a good idea to do some digging in those woods. Nice to know it's so easy to get away with murder. Poor Tera.
No he didn't. Most people hated Troy. He was garbage at his job and well known hack in karate instruction. He uses another name now and last I heard had some coin shop or some shit.

The family should hire a pvt investigator! A fundraiser or Go Fund Me acct can be set up if paying the P.I. is a difficulty. Definitely *thoroughly investigate that coach & find other girls he has groomed & had underage relationships with. I bet they're out there & they can be questioned. I *feel their daughter's body can still be found.
its so sad that we have still not found tera, i remember when i was a kid, handing out posters to help find her around town with my parents. her family is so amazing and has always kept such a positive spirit after this, just makes it so much more sad tera still hasn't gotten justice. JUSTICE FOR TERA! TROY is the guy that got away but because they never found the body, they didn't even try to charge him. he literally got away with murder and it makes me so mad.

As someone that lives here and knows about this case quite a bit they literally have no evidence against troy even all of us know the son of a b**** is the one that did this

Bingo!! I honestly felt that and saw she told the coach but he didn’t want it cause he might lose his family & wife and status! So he told her I’ll give u money to get rid of it she obviously declined that’s when he did away with her at the mountain. They need to question him hard and bring search party to the mountain

I live here in Redding lived here my whole life I still think about this case hence why I looked it up on UA-cam I pray for the day that they find remains in these woods and identify her and hopefully with a little luck and some prayers they'll be some DNA left to bring them to her killer
The only mystery here is where the body was hidden. She died on the very same evening. I'm sorry for the gruesome opinion. Poor girl.
Well, it's not rocket science to say who did it.
It's not the place where she was supposedly dropped off and the distance to Oasis for work at 7pm that makes me believe what happened there.
Just remember one rule: If someone in cases like this one gives too many details about what happened and by this suggests the further occurences that might have taken place then it's very, very likely that they're lying and they're responsible for what had happened to the girl. 2000 dollars to borrow!? Hehehe, good one bruv but I don't buy it.
So leave your doughnuts guys and do a proper job for that poor girl and her family.

I think when she ask him for the two thousand dollars & he said he might lend it to her if he knows what it's for and she became upset and went jogging after I don't think he had that kind of money to give I believe he told her no and I fell she attempted to blackmail him by exposing their inappropriate relationship to people perhaps even the cops if he didn't give her the money he snap strangled her & buried her in the area he claimed to be praying for 5 hrs I wonder if the police even search that area it doesn't really sound like they much of anything to be honest
Locally we thought maybe she became pregnant. I doubt she really asked him for money and that guy is human trash btw.
I am going to say it. I hope that Troy Zink confesses and gives Tera's family some closure after all these years. I don't believe that a 16 yr old would ask someone for $2,000, especially in 1998. That is so much money to a young teenager. I am so sorry for Tera and her family. I hope that Troy tells the truth soon.

I remember reading an article where her parents said they believe Tera was trying to end her relationship with Zink and we can all imagine what happened next.-- I was born the same year as Tera, it's bittersweet watching these images of her as a teenager. So many years have gone by and still no answers.
