Imagine u have 2 white jobless ppl- a couple, who physically assault each other and when the girl goes missing- she’s Americas darling vs. a domestic violence case. Matter of fact, they gave her murderer more attention & searched for him harder than they did Daniel ..who btw was WORKING, being a productive human and went missing near the same areas. Everyone had to find her even though, most of us knew what happened but no one cared about Daniel. It’s devastating esp for ppl of color knowing this is how we are treated. When I was 13, I didn’t come home & my parents called the cops. They said I ran away even tho that’s wasn’t me. My mom insisted I was a straight A student who’d never miss school. I was a good kid. They said if I don’t come back in a week to call them back. My sisters ex held us at gunpoint for 2 days before we talked him down.
They have not found him yet. At least i haven't heard anything if they did.? So i choose to feel he is alive until i hear anything other. My comment says I feel he is alive and somewhere. What others feel is there choice. I was just saying what i feel.

My guess is his car tipped over because it wasn't built for the desert terrain and he was hot so he took off his clothes to walk the desert, hoping to find society again. Now I'm going to be realistic because I was raised in AZ. He's dead or someone has him in their house and abusing him. Look for nearby homes and ask about him. There needs to be a body.

I can’t imagine the pain and anguish of not knowing; no answers and confusing evidence. I wish this entire family the very best, and hope Daniel will be found safe and well. I agree persons of color who are missing / crime victims do not get the media attention others do however the media is to blame. What’s the highest rated viewership of any tv show / any channel? What do you base that assumption on, because it is absolutely not true. Missing women and children get more media attention because it tends to grasp at people's heart strings. I've seen this young man's story on at least 7 different channels. Have you missed those??

If I were a geologist, I may have been looking up at the weather and determining whether cool things in the environment could be seen or experienced in nearby areas. The engineer he was with may not have understood Daniel’s perspective. The weather was unusual cool that day (in the 60’s) . There had been wildfires in the surrounding areas…so maybe some smoke/maybe not. There was lightning in the area of Salome (not too far). There was rain, could the car have gotten dragged by rain that accumulated from the areas where it rained (water flowed towards where the car was found?). That could explain the crash damage not matching the surrounding areas. If Daniel was carjacked or caught in the storm water and the engine stalled, it could explain why it was ignited so many times. Hope the police have answers for these questions: -What would interest Daniel or a geologist on that day based on the weather that’s unique to Arizona. -Where was there water accumulation or flooding? -were there mudslides? Where? -rock avalanches? Where? -lightning strikes? Where? -Daniel’s car could have been stolen and placed near the jobsite once they realized who Daniel was. Maybe he left the keys in the car while exploring and was left stranded as strangers jacked his car? Then something happened? -there’s mountain wind that is special in Arizona. -health insurance info for visits. -apartment for mold, blunts or vapes for Covid? -WhatsApp, discord, chats in video games -was luminal used in the car and at his apartment? -did he religiously wear personal gas monitors to ensure his safety on the job? -were there any boreholes left open that were later closed or trenches that collapsed the week Daniel went missing and then were ignored or abandoned? - I don’t think he was acting weird with the girl…he needed his canopy back for working in the hot desert sun and she said, “pick it up ANYTIME“ then she got mad.
This is heartbreaking. I hadn't heard of this case until recently, and from what I have seen, Daniel has not yet been found as the two year anniversary of his disappearance approaches. I wish the family answers and peace one day soon.
He obviously was in some sort of mental health crisis. The family is downplaying that for some reason. If there was any cover-up, I believe it was with the rancher whose land the car was found on. Daniel was probably already dead. Maybe someone shot him by accident as there are a lot of crazy shooters in that area. The rancher was scared so got someone to help him move the car to make it look like a car accident.
Family members and many in the public seldom want to believe that a person might be responsible for his/her own disappearance and possible death. Yet that is what the signs point to here. He was not in a good state of mind--his mother and brother make that clear--and it's almost certain that he drove off into the desert, crashed his car, got hurt (probably a head injury) and then wandered off into the desert.
Finally, Dateline -- I've followed Daniel's dad since the beginning. It warms my heart that Dateline is involved. Now, maybe, officials will take this MIA (Missing In America --- Thank You Nancy Grace) person seriously.

Sounds like he wandered off and died of dehydration, heatstroke, etc. In the desert in AZ in summer. How long do you think he'd survive? I notice the fathers team is whhyte. Daniel Robinson met with foul play. The black box in his vehicle proved it was not possible to travel the speeds in that terrain. The vehicle was planted.
